October 18, 2019 5.0 I wish I have known about Practice EHR before I got involved in my prior EHR, I have an answer every time I had a question, their customer service is great and so helpful, one of their tech support will contact me late if I had an issue or trouble. I really recommend it if you have a small practice and need an EHR simple and efficient. Pros The simplicity and the easiness to navigate the system. It is a very good system for a small practice, the super bill with all CPT code is very helpful. Cons I wish the have procedure template for my specialty in pain management but I am sure they will get it in the future. He didn’t tell me the clear terms and conditions and cancellation policy even I asked (sales man) specifically. I asked what is the cancellation policy for monthly plans ? And he says you can give us 30 days notice prior to canceling and that’s all. And when I gave notice for cancellation , he charged me for whole 1yr fees when I gave 30 days notice after 2 months of subscription. But I asked just questions regarding cancellation policy that I will be charged for anything else if I cancel any time and then he says no it is just 30 days notice and you will download your records and give it to you. Pros Chart notes, customized templates and patients forms Cons Says representative Mr. X are liars and hide the true agreement, terms and conditions when you ask them straight questions. Says person are not truthful and deceitful to get you into the deal and then will charge you for the whole year, even if you are not happy with the software . Software details -Normal physical exam can not be populated with one click. For each prescription, you will have to calculate the milligrams and ML and total amount of dispensing ML or milligrams. Software is slightly slow, sometimes prescription does not go through, the support team customizes template for you, but you will have to teach them every micro details like you’re teaching a computer which is very frustrating. Its been all down hill from there. I will never use their services again and would never recommend anyone use this system for their EHR. Pros Cheap EHR for startup practice. Not much else to say. Cons This company auto renewed my subscription after multiple conversations with me telling them I would not be renewing. This company sent me my encrypted patient data 2 months prior to the expiration of subscription. After notifying them again of my cancellation and need for refund, they now want me to pay $1000.00 for my patient data. This is absolutely absurd and they refuse to rectify the situation and are now holding all of my practice information and patient data hostage. Pros Scheduling was easy, Insurance Eligibility. I think that is about I can say positive about PEHR Cons Doctor's notes are not easy, the ICD10 code move after the note is done and they can't see to fix it. NO detailed invoice to give to patients for HSA accounts. What they do have doesn't work and they can't see to get it fixed. They don't count the copay as money so it doesn't show up on the HSA Statement when that feature does work. They say they will customize it for you, which means bringing all your own templates for them to put in the system for you. Pros It is very easy to use, intuitively constructed, even for docs that are not very computer literate, like me. Quick and easy, puts notes in a very professional, medical letter format and you can fax medical records to other providers directly from the computer. Cons Inability to speak with a “real person” in a timely fashion. I’ve had to wait 20-45 min on hold prior to speaking to someone. I’ve also been disconnected by the “system”, and had to call back. Pros The software is user friendly. Once you know the software and how to manuever it is very user friendly. the support team is excellent and the response time is fast. Cons The software needs to be programmed to the type of practice you are using it for. There are upgrades that needs to happen in order for this to do so and the turn around time is long. While using the software in remote places, it looses it signal and freezes. Customer Support is great however it is sometimes hard to understand them due to language barrier.
