Pros First and foremost, why we chose Practice EHR is that there is somebody who answers you whenyou call them and it is not automated. The support are very helpful friendly and nice. They really help me when I was learning billing. they were very patient and ready to help at all time. Cons When I commit a mistake like enteed the wrong date of service and it s already billed, if I make corrected ckaim i have to create a ticket for them to change it. I would like if they can flag the last wellness/screening visit. They are constantly checking in to see how things are going. Texts and email reminders work great. The cost is wonderful. Pros The ease and user-friendliness of the system. It works well for what we need. The scheduling is easy. Patient charts are easy. Faxing items has gotten easier with updates. Cons Some problems with saving consent forms and the kiosk struggles sometimes. The scheduling shouldn't show the overlapping like it does. It is a little confusing if you havent seen it and I do wish they would change that. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well but does cover many things decently well. Pros Somewhat easy to use program with a simple interface. Appointment scheduling is easy to learn and very customizable. Cons Many glitches with the electronic prescribing feature. Not the best when you have patients with many medications. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to continue with my practice. I am hoping my current employer will be open to changing EHR’s. While the system is not perfect, it has many features that work well. I can see how for a direct medical practice this system would work very well. For a chiropractic clinic such as our own, it is functional. Hopefully as PEHR grows they will build more into the system to make it more chiropractic friendly. Pros Scheduling patients is easy and quick inside PEHR Cons Billing is a multiple step process for our practice as we function just a bit differently from other practices. Molding PEHR to function for our specific practice has been the most time consuming. The team at PEHR has been responsive and helpful during this process.
