Pros

Generally I Liked everything about this software from Calling , recording , making heavy calls to Call conferencing among so many people . It’s accessible on desktop to iOS and android , voice quality of the Call is also very good !

Cons

Probably nothing , loved almost everything about this software . I can’t find any replacement of this application or software until and unless it’s alive in the market !

Overall, Vonage has been a reliable solution for our business communication needs. Once we got everything set up the way we wanted, it’s been smooth sailing. We rarely have dropped calls, and the mobile app makes it easy to stay connected when we’re on the go. There are a few areas where the interface could be improved, but in terms of functionality and reliability, it gets the job done well.

Pros

The call quality is consistently clear, and I like that it’s easy to use across devices—whether I’m on my desktop or mobile, everything syncs pretty seamlessly. The ability to customize call flows and set up auto-attendants is super helpful for our small team. I also appreciate the integrations with other tools like Salesforce and Slack.

Cons

The admin interface can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when you’re trying to make more advanced changes to call routing or voicemail settings. It’s not always intuitive, so there’s a learning curve if you’re not super technical. Also, support response times could be faster.

“Not positive at all. We have lost significant business and income because of this service. We cannot receive incoming calls to our business, and incoming calls account for over 95% of our revenue. This failure has cost us valuable clients and opportunities. Poor communication and lack of reliable support have only made things worse. I would never recommend this service to anyone.”

Cons

“Extremely negative experience.Incoming calls account for over 95% of our revenue, yet we cannot receive them — all inbound calls automatically go to voicemail and never ring into the office. From the beginning, there was no helpful setup or tech support. The person in charge of our setup from Vonage could not troubleshoot even basic issues and constantly had to escalate to the next level for resolution. Even after more than two weeks, we still have major unresolved problems. The equipment we were sold isn’t even on the active items list to properly set up or troubleshoot. We deal with hardphone and softphone issues daily, with no consistent or reliable help from Vonage customer service. This service has cost us clients and income and created daily headaches.”

### "Outstanding call center solution."

Vonage has worked well for our call center and as an internal messaging app. It is easy to set and modify call groups. We are able to track reports of calls in and out as well as create virtual extensions to include external numbers within our group. The administration panel is far more intuitive than our previous provider. The phone system has been extremely reliable over the last few years as well.

Pros

The set up of accounts and administration of the system is very straightforward. We can onboard someone and minutes and have them in a call group. We can also make changes in an emergency quickly and efficiently.

Cons

There are occasional issues with the app either not sending messages or crashing(although this has not happened as much lately). I also do not like that we cannot remove extensions for billing without assistance from support.

Pros

We love that we can assign the phone number for an individual and have them set up right for the start of their employment. We also appreciate the call quality and the mobile app as it makes everything far more efficient.

Cons

It took us a while to figure out the setup of each individual number but once we learned the process it became like second nature in getting them setup!

### "Poor Customer Service"

I signed up with Vonage to get better customer service with setup and I did not get it as promised. They charged me for service even after I cancelled.

Pros

The price wasn't unreasonalble for the services we needed.

Cons

Customer service was difficult to get. They sent me an office phone that I couldn't use without an ethernet cable. My router is in another room. Later I found a router extender that I could use to connect the phone to the internet, but no one in tech support seemed to know that simple fix. Also they stated that you needed to cancel the auto renewal it needed 60 days advance notice. I did that only to find out that the request doesn't mean that you want them to not automatically charge your credit card for service. Even after I had my number ported out. Set up was not easy for me and I couldn't get good help from them. Their service was inconsistant. My wife and I both had the app on our cell phones but the calls would not always come though on both phones.

I own a courier service and clients sending sms for medication deliveries or flowers for funerals just never got to us. Hundreds of these messages lost. Now, as of 4 days ago, outgoing sms is working but incoming isn't which is obviously the vital communication. Did a little switcharoo. A nightmare. I even have had nightmares.

Pros

Has good features like call recording and sms (when it's not losing your messages into the void)

Cons

Regular outages and glitches, tech support (even the escalation teams) totally apathetic, unresponsive and unsympathetic

Overall it has been shaky, the sms messaging being down is a bad deal, as I use texts as 99% of my communication to my student, so I am forced to use another app for SMS and Vonage for calls.

I like that I can use the app on my computer or on my cell phone

I do not like the fact that the Sms messaging is still having errors and not all of my messages are making it through to the contacts

Vonage has user user-friendly interface, as a softphone it checks all the boxes for functionality and reliability when needing to implement an app that as an offshore rep I can use for sales.

Pros

The user interface is very nice, and the messaging system it has helps a lot with text messages. As a softphone for an offshore rep, this would be one of my go-to options. As a sales manager, I was able to look up my call recordings and the reps I trained to review their calls.

Cons

I never had any relevant issues with the app itself, maybe the ability to not integrate with SalesLoft was a minor issue for me.

We have had a great experience overall from the sales rep to the buying process to the customer service and install. We'd definitely recommend them to small business who are looking to save a bit of money (at least compared to our traditional alternative).

Pros

I love the price of this software most of all. This had so many more features than our regular phone service and was cheaper! It's fairly easy to use, has quite a few features, and has worked pretty solidly for us for the 6+ months that we've had it. We don't have plans to change at this point.

Cons

The only thing I'm a little iffy about was that it wasn't easy to switch our fax line over. We definitely ran into hiccups there, but their customer service team was excellent and we figured it out eventually.

Was ok, but got constantly overbilled and was horrendous when moving our business elsewhere. Stay away.

Pros

Basic VOIP software that allowed us to easily have remote agents. In the later years was decently reliable.

Cons

Support was horrendous. Would take forever to explain to the person what you needed. Would get constantly overbilled and have to spend hours going through the invoice and arguing to get it corrected. Billing was super convoluted. Would take several months to get a credit and our account managers would keep getting switched. Litterarrly had 5 different account managers in an 18 month period and had to start over with each of them on getting overbilled. Finally decided to move onto a different provider and then were told we owed a huge amount for Early Termination. Requested that they go back and review the entire history of overbilling us and they say they only go back 90 days. We stopped fighting with them on the bill each and every month as we were just ready to move on. One of our account managers told us there was no problem cancelling early and wouldnt be a fee. Of course we didnt get that in writing and that account manager no longer works for them. Bottom line, Vonage used to be the leader in VOIP but have been passed up by many other providers. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Pros

I've been using Vonage from more than 6 months. The interface of the software is easy to use. What I love most about it is it's "Report" feature. It makes working so much fun as one can easily see and analyze their own growth with the help of different charts and graphs. It increases productivity as it induces a sense of accomplishment in an individual. Vonage is actually a smart software as when you copy a sentence with a phone number in it and paste it in the keypad to call, it immediately picks up the phone number eliminating the rest of the sentence. Most communication software fail to do that. So, for me Vonage is one the best Business Communication software.

Cons

There's almost nothing to not like about Vonage but if there's something that ever bugged me is that it deletes the call history after a certain amount of time, which isn't really bothersome but just in case anyone wants to track a call from a long time ago they won't be able to do that. And it glitches sometimes which could be the network's fault as well.

Relatively good compared to other companies we use for similar services. Customer support is good; reps are pro-active and helpful and will go out of their way to find you a solution.

Pros

The best thing we have found with Vonage Business Communications is the Customer Service. The reps really do try and help you out and take a pro-active approach which is highly unusual in the telecom industry.

Cons

Sometimes when you are trying to get information from their billing department, they seem to be unable to provide it. This appears to be more of an operational issue than a personnel issue.

Cons

I would say my least favorite thing about Vonage would be the mobile application as it tends to crash more than expected if you are not using an iPhone.

I recently decided to try Vonage's SMS services for my business, and saying I am disappointed would be an understatement. As a telecom provider, Vonage should have excelled in their essential services but failed to deliver on its promises.When I first signed up for Vonage's SMS services, I was assured that my company number would be registered quickly and seamlessly. However, weeks passed, and my number still hadn't been registered. This has caused a significant hindrance to my business, as we relied on this service for essential communication with our customers.Upon contacting their customer service, I was informed that the volume of users they were trying to register had caused a backlog. While I understand that such technical challenges can arise, it is unacceptable for a company like Vonage to allow these internal issues to affect its customers negatively. They should have been more prepared to handle the volume and avoid backlogs.Furthermore, the customer service provided by Vonage was far from satisfactory. Instead of empathizing with my concerns and offering a solution, they passed the buck by blaming the issue on the backlog. As a customer, I shouldn't have to bear the burden of their internal challenges. The customer service team should have been proactive in addressing my concerns and finding a solution to my problem.In conclusion, my experience with Vonage has been nothing short of frustrating.

I have to say . . in the last year, the support has improved tremendously. I think there was a time when mergers and new employees seemed out of touch with the customer but not now. I have been more than pleased with my experience with Vonage lately . . especially call in support. They really do try and figure it out if you have an issue. Nice to see the difference lately! :)

Pros

Software if very easy to use. My overall experience has been good with the software. Pretty self explanatory when it comes to overall review. Drop down selections and menu boxes are easy to understand.

Cons

Found the online phone function or app a little cumbersome. Still a few bugs to work out. I have tried a couple of times and it eventually will be the right route to go with business and functions. I am a little old school . . like the phone on my desk and answer it like a normal. So maybe its the old dog new trick thing . . . I just will keep trying and hopefully it will be just right soon.

I am overall satisfied with Vonage Business Support- each time I called on the phone I was given a real person to speak with and a case number, to ensure the quality of my "case" the next time I called. As a busy work professional, I found this very valuable. I spoke to an amazing tech after speaking with Vonage Business support. He was able to direct me to exactly what I was looking of in a very short amount of time. My business purchased over 10 lines and the Yealink T46G phones from Vonage. I find these to be incredibly professional phones with a large screen. This is extremely beneficial when I am wearing a headset, on the regular phone, or connected with m work cell.

Pros

In regards to Vonage Business Phone systems, I like most being able to speak with a real person to answer my questions. Help was available any time I called. The help was organized and true- this helped me weed out things I didn't have time for. As a busy professional, this was extremely valuable. Each person I spoke to was able to help me validate my "silly" questions and assist me through the Vonage experience. The Yealink also shows busy field lines, my favorite feature on the phone, so I can see who, in my offices, is on the phone. This saves me time.

Cons

I was disappointing that it took so long to find an associate that could answer my questions. I called three times previous with questions about the phone system, and on the third time I spoke with a very knowledgeable professional who could fully assist me with my system questions. My business has purchased Yealink phones and is disappointing that each phone requires a special Yealink donagle for the "Tested headset list compatible with Yealink IP Phone". While the Plantronics Voyager Legend came with a dongle, we had to order separate dongles for each phone.

We’ve been having a great experience this software! It’s been helpful for our business and the call forwarding feature has allowed us the ability for some work/life balance.

Pros

We’ve been using this software for our business for over 5 years. Using this for our business phone has allowed us to keep our same phone number even though we moved physical locations. This was very helpful for our business! We also use the call forwarding feature so we can answer business calls when we’re aware from the business.

Cons

Sometimes the connection isn’t as clear as we’d like. It can sometimes sound a little muffled and occasionally we get disconnected from callers. However, it usually works really well and we’re happy with the service.

It’s less expensive and allows us to have more advanced features.

I love Vonage's feature set, from being able to text(Although I cant attach or be sent attached items), to the history feature is great for checking for previous calls and the reporting capabilities allows for productivity of employees.

Pros

What I like most about Vonage Business is its versatility in the business environment which allows for varied features! It allows any of our employees to work from home yet appear as if they are in the office.

Cons

The software's quality is very dependent on the broadband speed that it is connected to. It requires at a minimum at least 200 gigabit pipe line for it to function well...be advised there are some hiccups that happen but they are few and far between.
