### "Confusing setup and service but good to use"

The site is really good and easy to use once you learn it. You can manage it yourself without having to deal with service calls all the time. It is much cheaper than dealing with the phone company or some in house system as well. It is a good service.

Pros

They built a great site and give you control over everything. I can go in and setup things without relying on customer service for everything which is really nice. Customer service was very friendly and helpful with my questions. The equipment seems good too and at least the same or less cost than phone equipment with other services.

Cons

You have to learn some new terminology and how their system works. I wish they would incorporate definitions into their site to help you understand things better. The initial sign up was also very confusing. I got a lot of emails (too many) and wanting to setup an appointment. The appointment really didn't seem to be setting up my account services to our needs but a general overview of the site.

Reason for choosing Vonage Business Communications

Our current system was just cumbersome and more difficult to manage. The management software was outdated and difficult to deal with.

### "Great VOIP product with great administrative software"

The service works excellent and is a great price. The account administration software is easy to understand and use. THey have made updates to make even easier to use and I like it.

Pros

The account administration software is very intuitive and easy to understand. I can do most anything with my account in this software and the changes happen as soon as I hit save

Cons

In the past they have had glitches where my saved recorded voicemail greetings have been lost and I have to re-record them. I wish it would notify you automatically when the message changes so I would know before a customer lets me know.

It was very user friendly and I did not require any training. The contacts dictionary was quite helpful and allowed me to add new contacts with no issues unlike zoom.

Pros

Integration with JobDiva and ability to keep a count of calls made over the period of time. App on phone, computer and connection to Desk phone were seamless.

Cons

The messages did not have the attachment option at the time making it difficult in my line of work where some were comfortable texting documents over.

Absolutely the worst service out there. This company is just so horrible to deal with. Will ruin your day if you have to interact with Vonage Business Support, again only by CHAT from untrained techs. I would highly recommend potential customers to do their due diligence before going with Vonage. If you have a technical issue of any kind, know that you will NEVER, EVER GET A LIVE AGENT ON THE PHONE. It is ALL by chat and they are extremely POORLY trained and just give canned responses.

Pros

add on phone numbers were convenient. Price was Ok.

Cons

my caller ID will not update and I cannot get the issue escalated.

It has been nothing but positive, it’s simple to use and is very convenient. I will continue to recommend this to friends and business owners

Pros

I enjoy this phone system I use it everyday when I call clients. It tracks how long you have been on the call and then allows you to input notes into its system and then it syncs with my salesforce. This makes keeping notes a lot easier

Cons

So far I have not found anything I do not like. Having this software makes its simpler to do my job and do it with efficiency

\-It's really easy to use - you can be up and running in no time-The call quality is consistently great, (local/international calls feel the same)-the mobile app is really helpful - It allowed me to take calls and messages on the go The voicemail transcription feature can really save you a lot of time and help you stay on top of your messages

Cons

\-The pricing can be a bit confusing, with different plans and add-ons to consider-Sometimes there can be a delay or lag during video calls, but it's not a huge issue-The customer support can be hit or miss - sometimes it's great, other times it can take a while to get a response

I have a company based in the united states but I live abroad. Vonage has made it possible for me to stay in contact with my American clients without them even realizing i'm not in the country.

Pros

Voice to text feature is very important to me as I'm not always in the correct setting to listen to the messages we receive. It's fairly accurate and only seems to have issues with certain accents. The fair pricing and excellent customer service makes Vonage the choice that you are sure to pic.

Cons

At this pricing and the quality of the service, I have no cons.

As a small business we had the advantage of using features that Vonage provided such as a mobile app and advanced business features, like call transfer and conference calling. In fact, the help and support provided by Vonage during times of trouble through email and phone support was good.

Pros

Vonage is a great telecoms business and their calling services gives alternatives to both private calling plans and universal telephone plans for our business. This notable assistance gives plans intended to small company entrepreneurs and has very cheap unlimited calls. Their plans are accessible for low, reasonable rates.

Cons

There is nothing major to report, but sometimes, the call quality has been quite low or intermittent.

My experience was just fine, very good actually. No issues just wanted texting. Had to leave for that and the person who had to end service with me thru Vonage was very mean. I dont think I would return based on that.

Great to have Vonage.

Pros

I have been using Vonage from last 5 years. Its a great think for International calling. The Vonage Mobile Application also do the similar Job. Vonage call quality are really good and the cost of using Vonage is very less. Call forwarding feature really works well. The voice mail are converted into text and sent on your email id is the best feature i like.

Cons

i didn't really found any cons in Vonage, but the application of Vonage of phone something Lag a lot.

Pros

Easy to use right out of the box. All I had to do was set up the box, and plug it in, and everything was working as it should be. Really enjoy the emailed voice mails. No more waiting to get home just to check the voice mail.

Cons

No issues with Vonage. When I first set up my account they assigned my a number that was already in use by another business.. They were very responsive to doing everything they could to fix the problem.

### "Abysmal Customer Service/Support"

There were numerous issues with porting our number that came with vague issues that didn't tell us what was wrong, lack of follow-up communication, ineffective troubleshooting, and lack of training by their reps which required numerous chats (they're no longer available for support by phone) and resubmissions to try and resolve. During that time, we were being billed for both Residential and Business and we asked about VB billing and/or a refund since we couldn't use the service. At no time were we ever told by reps that we should ask to "suspend" the service (which we found out almost 4 months later we should have asked for), just that we could ask for a refund once the number ported successfully. We finally got ported last week and asked for a refund today. We were told we could have a very small portion refunded back because we did not "ask" for a "suspension" by Supervisor \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] We asked her to review all of their prior chat transcripts that showed that not one of their reps on the many interactions offered this as an option, so how could we have known? Her reply was to ignore that completely and offer us a miniscule refund. At no point was she willing to entertain that it was a problem on their end (as the chat transcripts showed), that they were sorry, their reps should have communicated the appropriate process, and that as a result we were due a refund". Instead she said they did no "wrong". Abysmal support and lack of regard for us as a customer.

Pros

Marketed features and pricing met our fixed budget and needs for a smaller Service Desk.

Cons

Porting process, customer service, customer support

Reason for choosing Vonage Business Communications

Budget. Pricing was comparable for what we were already paying for much less with Vonage Residential.

There are alot of great features with this solution but some are things we dont need and dont use. Just do your research and make sure its something that you actually need and want to pay for. Also make sure you equipment is compatible with there system so you are not hit with unexpected costs to make your system work like it is supposed to.

Pros

Lots of good features that allow me to use my business phone anywhere. Even though there were a lot of problems starting our i was always able to get in tough with customer service quickly.

Cons

Lots of things that need to be set up at the beginning of the process. Had lots of issues to start out with most of which were resolved by changing a firewall out that was not compatible with vonage's system. They knew what firewall I had from the beginning took them a month to realize that is was one that does not play well with Vonage's system.

Pros

It works as your business cellphone but dont need to give you personal number to your customers. Easy to usea and also can get sms.

Cons

Could be better if you can see the name of the person who is calling you on the lock screen. Speaker function does not work if you turn it on outside the app
