Pros

Great interface. Very easy to dial out/answer calls/check voicemails. Seems to get better with every update - the texting function that was added makes the app better than my office phone.

Cons

Can lose connectivity somewhat quickly where internet service is spotty.

It's Very inexpensive, You can call many different countries, and it is Easy to retrieve your voicemail.

Cons

If your internet is out then you do not have a phone line. You also need a phone hooked up to the bondage base that needs to be hardwired to the internet

Pros

Vonage Business was very easy and convenient to use. It gave me flexibility in answering the phone and managing the phone system so that especially during this pandemic work remotely and not miss out on important business calls.

Cons

Vonage like most softwares interfaces with the internet and at times with low band width coverage we were unable to receive calls

IMHO the user interface for the admin dashboard is by far the easiest to use compared to competitors in this class. Adding an additional line, setting up an IVR, forwarding calls among many features, can easily be executed by a technological layman

Voice quality is adequate.

Pros

The web dashboard is really comprehensive, you can control almost every aspect of the service. If required, advanced features like call queues can be added to the service.

Cons

Reliability has not been their strong point, with outages that have lasted for hours. There is an online health check site for the service where admins can check status of the Vonage cloud. Price points are not among the cheapest.

Overall, we do like using this app due to its user friendliness, though I am saddened to say, we are looking for other options.

Pros

It is easy to use when calling our customers. Its voicemail interface is easy to use, no matter if you're a veteran or a trainee.

Cons

The only con I have to bring up regarding this system, involves the softphone app you have to download in order to interact with the web browser version. It this app is not up to date, it can mess with your workflow by not allowing you to connect into the system properly.

Customer service can be a bit frustrating if you need to call in, but we have only needed to do that once in 6 years.

Pros

We are international travelers and we usually top up our phones with international calling but it is expensive. So, we thought of getting vonage phone and then downloading vonage app. Using Vonage app is pretty easy more likely i am using a regular phone. You just need to have a really good internet connection.

Cons

App crashes abruptly but they fixed that problem in their new versions. Also, it doesn't work sometime showing no internet connection whereas internet is always there. Still no Cons as such which will make you think of why i downloaded this app.

Pros

It's been an amazing experience using Vonage. It's been almost a year since I have been using it , never has it stopped working. No technical glitch ever! Best software.

Pros

When the phones actually worked, it made the ease of transferring calls, and taking incoming calls better.

Cons

The customer service is horrible, and the phones most of the time do not work. There was always static on the line, and sometimes we never received calls. Vonage would say it was our internet, but once we switched services we never had the problem again.

We now have multiple phone extensions and we can all be on the phone at the same time without interruption.

Pros

We love that you can create a virtual assistant and transfer calls around the office. It helps my small business appear very professional to our clients!

Cons

To get good phones it costs quite a bit of money. We got mid grade phones and they work good but I'm not able to use a headset or have Bluetooth capabilities

Look around, there are competitor business solutions that may be similar in price, but more efficient in customer service.

Pros

easy to set up and use, great experience when you purchase, the equipment arrived quickly and the set up was very easy.

Cons

when you want to disconnect or need technical support, it is nearly impossible to get assistance. They made me jump through hoops just to be able to disconnect. Not a fan

Great tool for being in touch while also being out of touch- in touch on your own timeframe!

Pros

Another great tool for remote employees who 1) need a local number and 2) want to be available via call or text without giving out their personal phone number. There is an app or desktop version so you are always available without being bothered.

Cons

I haven't found any issues with the software yet. It seem to be working great- iphone app and desktop both work well.

The price is great for the calling plans, for the US, it includes a 1000 minutes to all U.S. locations.

Pros

Very good call quality anywhere in the world, excellent customer support and easy interface to configure.

Cons

The Software is not easy to configure if you decide to use an open source solution such as Asterisk. I requires good knowledge for it to get it working 100%.

Pros

I absolutely LOVE the texting feature in the app. I work at a law firm and don't have a work cell phone right now, but I don't need one because Vonage allows me to text from my landline by using the app!! I prefer it over having a second cell phone.

Cons

Every now and then, we have issues where incoming phone calls stop working for a few minutes. A quick phone call to Vonage tends to fix the problem.

Pros

I migrated my client from a hosted PBX to Vonage VoIP solution. After an easy account set up the phones were shipped to their new office and simply plugged into the network jacks. There were no headaches or hiccups. It worked out of the box perfectly. Vonage's cloud model allows me to administrate the entire system, adding phones and needed functionality easily and quickly.

Cons

I haven't run into any major issues with Vonage.

Overall, Vonage Business let us down. Whether it was from the technical issues from the start or the constant having to call customer support, there seemed to be zero interest in us or our company. No one could resolve all of our issues and we eventually had to find another company to step in.

Pros

What I liked most about Vonage is that it comes with so many great features, including the virtual receptionist and easy call transferring. You can create custom voicemails and hold music.

Cons

What I liked least about this product is that the overall company of Vonage does not seem to care about the customer. We faced many problems setting up our phones and Vonage didn't even communicate all of them. We had to constantly call them to be updated and even today they refuse to give us any credit off the bills we've paid or refund our equipment.

I used the software TokBox which Vonage provides for telehealth sessions. It is a simple interface and easy process for clients to join. The cons though become a bit numerous but the main issue is compatibility. Unlike other telehealth software TokBox has to evolve to allow other browsers to utilize their software reliably.

Pros

The video conferencing software they provide can be very good. A. The simplest form of telehealth because they utilize a HTML link for single sessions. B. The user interface is extremely simple when a clinician connects up with client C. Security is good because each session creates a new HTML link rather then using a designated single webpage which could become a security issue

Cons

Their software can have conflicts and compatibility issues depending on the browser. A. Their software TokBox appears to work only with Chrome. Every time tried using Firefox, sessions never connect up. B. Will work with some mobile phones for telehealth but a majority of time, the client has difficulty to connecting up. Software works best usually with a laptop/desktop on Chrome. C. Meetings can lag, especially when network is congested. D. Updates to software do not seem as common.

The explanation of each part of the system is not always clear. For example, the options do not always explain the outcome - what will actually be affected by selecting an option.
