Pros Its size on desk is less than any other program. Cons The quality, keep up with AutoCad as a competitive software, or else, the program will lose its importance. " May 20, 2020 4.0 Great decision to explore the capability and value of the application and amazing technical support! Pros We've been using Cadmate for exactly 2 years now. Good decision for the company to use the application for cad platforms. Quick adaptability for our users from other branded cad programs to Cadmate. We've received valuable comments to our users related to the ease of use, less utilization of computer resources, cad file sizing. Cons One good thing with them is they are continuously improving their products and they are open to the wish list of the end-users. Anything to improve is being raised to their R&D team. There are still some bugs, but there are workarounds for them, which takes a little more time, but considering what you pay for this, it's a good buy Pros Very very fast! Can scroll through layouts very quickly! Not that heavy on the system as compared to competitors. Can easily adapt to this software. Compared to what you pay for it, it's and extremely good buy! Awesome customer care! Cons Blocks work well, but under stress starts to act weird. Some basic block functionality is still buggy. Dynamic dimensioning not yet supported. Layout functionality are still buggy. But to change machines, it is a pain.. Pros Overall all features are good and easy adoption Cons Customer Service and licensing is outdated. You cannot recover and use old licenses..even when I had the physical machines, the company is not capable of activating the licenses on that machine and charging huge amounts! Customers are provided with license certificate and it is important that customer retains the license serial key. Since the license is a perpetual license you have purchased, the license is 100% owned by you. If you had taken a subscription license we would have control on your license. Normal process is to return a license before you format your system, and in the event of a system crash, you would be able to reset the license on the same system. Please email support@cadmate.org for further support requirement. This is a good replacement to that of AutoCAD. Since long people are searching for some good replacement to AutoCAD and i feel that search ends at CADMATE. The change over to new software is always difficult but here in case of CADMATE the change over is very very smooth as its interface and use of commands are very very similar as that AutoCAD. Pros The user friendly interface makes it most suitable to change from AutoCAD to Cadmate. The stability is good. It can handle very big file at an ease. Features are very very useful for all. Cons Cost is little on higher side as compared with the available software cost.
