Until now they would have to call the office to make sure pricing was accurate. Pros Helped us streamline our pricing for repairs and installs. We found that some items was lower than average and a couple was higher. Now we feel the prices are more consistent across the company. Cons Some information doesn't import into Housecall pro. I would like to have seen descriptions imported over. Right now its just Category, Item number, Title and Prices. They no longer have to call the office to find out how much to charge a customers, nor do the owners have to call to find out what we charged a customer the last time we did work for them. With the prices of the products being updated quarterly, we no longer have to worry about charging the same or more than our competitors. If we think the price is too high for something, we can go in and change it, not charging enough? We are able to fix that on our own as well. With this product, maybe, just maybe the owners of the company will finally be able to draw a regular paycheck than having to worry about where the money will come from to pay their employees. Cons The only 3 things I do not like about Profit Rhino is: 1. No calendar to put our service calls on 2. No way to enter Work Orders on the computer 3. The techs do not get notified when a new work order has been entered, they have to constantly synch the product to know what is going on. Reasons for choosing Profit Rhino We chose Profit Rhino because it has everything we were looking for, mainly the price book. Before, I (the office administrator) was having to go and search up each product and figure up the new price then enter it into our system. With this product, not only has it cut our technicians' time in half, but also mine. And with it being updated quarterly, it is a huge time saver.
