## Cost breakdown

Designed to meet the needs of different types of users, from solo marketers to large agencies, Zoho Social offers a flexible pricing structure. With multiple pricing tiers and various feature sets, teams can select the plan that best aligns with their goals and budget.

### Starting price

All plans are billed per brand and team member, so the cost of each plan will depend on how many brands you manage and the size of your team. You can start for free with Zoho Social and scale up as your social management needs grow. The Free plan is a free forever plan limited to one brand and one team member, making it ideal for personal use or small startups. The Standard plan starts at $10 per brand per team member per month when billed annually, or $15 per brand per team member per month when billed monthly.

For those looking for more advanced publishing options, the Professional plan starts at $30 per brand per team member per month when billed annually, or $40 per month per team member per month when billed monthly. The Premium plan is $40 per brand per month for three members (annual) or $65 per brand per month for three members (monthly).

For digital agencies managing multiple brands, the Agency plan costs $230 per month (for 10 brands and five team members) when billed annually, or $320 per month when billed monthly. The Agency Plus plan, which offers the most comprehensive features and brand coverage, is priced at $330 per month (for 20 brands and five team members) when billed annually, or $460 per month when billed monthly.

Zoho Social also offers a 15-day free trial with no credit card information required, which allows you to explore and experience the full range of features and capabilities without any financial commitment. This trial period lets you assess how well the platform meets your social media management needs, helping you make an informed decision about upgrading.

### Billing options

You can choose between monthly and annual billing cycles. The annual billing option saves up to 33% on the total cost compared to paying monthly, making it a smart choice for teams looking to use the platform long-term. On the other hand, a monthly billing plan might be a better choice for those who don’t want to commit for a full year.

### Feature differentiation

Each successive plan of Zoho Social builds on the previous, offering support for more social channels, team members, and advanced capabilities. Here’s how each plan offers different levels of functionality:

- **Number of brands:** All business plans of Zoho Social (Free, Standard, Professional, Premium) support management of one brand only, while the agency tiers (Agency, Agency Plus) support multiple brands (10 and 20 respectively). Each plan from Professional onward allows you to add extra brands as add-ons.
- **Social channels:** The Free plan gives you access to six essential social channels (Facebook Pages, X profiles, Instagram business accounts, LinkedIn profiles, LinkedIn company pages, and Google business profiles). The Standard as well as Professional plans expand this support to 11 social channels, adding platforms like Pinterest, Mastodon, Threads, and Bluesky. The Premium plan further enhances your reach with 14 channels, including YouTube, WhatsApp Business, and Telegram Business. Agency plans are designed for multiple brand and social channel management including support for up to 140 channels (for Agency plan) and 280 channels (for Agency Plus plan).
- **Team members:** The Free, Standard, and Professional plans include one team member, the Premium plan includes three team members, and both agency plans include five team members by default. Additional team members can be added for $10 per member on all paid plans starting from the Professional tier.
- **Content scheduling and publishing:** The Free plan offers basic publishing features without scheduling capabilities, while higher-tier paid plans provide more advanced options like bulk scheduling and repeat posting. The Professional plan also introduces features for multi-channel simultaneous publishing and RSS feed integration.
- **Team collaboration:** Since all plans before Premium support one team member only, the tools for collaboration are limited. Premium, with default support for three team members, builds in strong collaboration tools such as content approvals, discussion threads, and role-based permissions. Agency tiers extend this with client portals and built-in chat and audio communication features.

- **Social monitoring:** The Free and Standard plans don’t include a dedicated monitoring dashboard, while the Professional plan offers a monitoring dashboard with five customizable columns for tracking brand mentions, hashtags, and keywords. The Premium and Agency plans expand this to 15 customizable columns, allowing for more comprehensive social listening and brand monitoring across platforms.
- **Performance reporting:** Advanced reporting features to generate custom reports and schedule emailing of reports to relevant stakeholders are available in the Premium and higher plans.

## What users say about Zoho Social pricing

Our team analyzed over 400 verified Zoho Social reviews posted on Capterra over the past two years to better understand user opinions on the software’s pricing.

User feedback on Zoho Social’s pricing reveals mixed sentiment, skewed towards the positive. Many users appreciate its affordability, particularly for smaller businesses and startups, and find it delivers strong value relative to its cost, especially considering the availability of a 15-day trial period and fully free plan. However, some users feel the pricing could be too high for very small teams who want more advanced features. Even so, many of these users feel that the benefits justify the cost, given the time saved and social output achieved using the platform. ## Total cost of ownership

When evaluating Zoho Social for your brand management needs, it’s important to consider the total cost of ownership (TCO), including the upfront costs and any additional one-off or recurring costs. Here’s a breakdown to help you understand all potential expenses:

### Upfront costs

Subscription cost will be the primary component of TCO. We’ve detailed the monthly fee for each plan above. To manage costs, pick the right tier and choose annual billing, when possible, to get the benefit of annual billing discount.

Beyond that, you won’t have to pay any implementation cost to start using Zoho Social. The software is cloud-based, so there’s no installation or setup fee. You can simply sign up for the free trial or your desired plan on the website and start using the platform immediately. Unlike some enterprise software, Zoho Social doesn’t charge for onboarding either. Even the highest Agency tiers are self-service signups. Any configuration—such as connecting your social accounts—is handled by you and doesn’t incur a fee from Zoho. To support this, Zoho provides extensive self-serve documentation and training tutorials. You can transfer your existing social media accounts and onboard team members without needing special assistance.

### Additional costs to consider

If you need to add more team members or brands to your current plan, Zoho Social offers add-on packs at extra monthly fees:

- **Add-on brands:** If you’re on the Professional plan, you can purchase a maximum of five brands as add-ons at a cost of $14.50 per brand, per month, when billed annually. On Premium plan, you can add brands at $19.50 per brand, per month. If you’re on an Agency plan and need to manage more brands than what’s included, you can purchase additional brands in increments of five for $76 per month. If you expect to need this now or in the future, it’s a good idea to factor it into your budget.

- **Additional team members:** Likewise, you can add more users to any plan from Professional onward for an extra $10 per user per month. However, for smaller businesses, it may be more cost-effective to upgrade to a higher tier—such as the Premium plan—which often includes more users, rather than paying for multiple individual user add-ons.

Other than those intentional add-ons, Zoho Social does not have other hidden overage fees.

#### Services needed to implement or manage the platform

Zoho Social is designed to be a user-friendly software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, requiring minimal implementation services. Many users report that getting started is straightforward, with an intuitive interface that allows for quick adoption.

For onboarding and ongoing support, Zoho Social offers a variety of online resources, including knowledge base articles, community forums, webinars, and video tutorials. All plans include 24/5 email support at no cost to address any questions or technical issues that may arise during setup or regular use.

As a cloud-based solution, Zoho Social handles all maintenance, updates, and new feature rollouts automatically as part of your subscription. This eliminates the need for a dedicated IT resource to manage the platform.

#### Other resources needed for ongoing platform management

While Zoho Social doesn’t require technical maintenance, you should consider other costs outside of Zoho that you may need to effectively use the platform:

- **Social advertising spend:** If you run paid social media campaigns through platforms like Facebook Lead Ads or LinkedIn Sponsored Content, remember that these ad costs are paid directly to the respective social network. This ad spend should be factored in your overall social media budget.

- **Content creation and management:** Although Zoho Social streamlines publishing, scheduling, and analyzing, you’ll still need human resources to develop engaging content (graphics, captions, campaigns) and implement your marketing strategy.

- **Advanced tools:** As your social presence grows, you may find yourself needing additional tools or services—for example, a more advanced design tool (beyond Zoho Social’s built-in image editor), or a separate social listening platform if your monitoring needs go beyond what Zoho provides.

- **Third-party integrations:** Zoho Social integrates seamlessly with other Zoho products like CRM at no extra cost—but you’ll need an active subscription to those products in order to use the integrations.

## How to choose the right Zoho Social pricing plan

Here are some considerations you should keep in mind when choosing the best Zoho Social pricing plan for your business:

_Key considerations while choosing the right Zoho Social plan_

- **Assess your social media needs.** Are you an individual or a small business looking to maintain a basic social presence on a few platforms? Or are you a marketing agency managing campaigns for multiple clients? Determine your scope and needs before choosing a plan. Eighty-four percent of social marketing software reviewers on our website say post scheduling is a highly important feature for them, and 80% consider automated publishing critical[\[3\]](#footnotes). Match your features to the scale of your needs. For a single brand with basic requirements, the Free or Standard plan may be sufficient. The Premium plan suits teams managing one brand but needing collaboration tools, while the Agency tiers are built for handling multiple brands or clients. Listing your must-have versus nice-to-have features can help clarify priorities—so you don’t overpay for tools you won’t use or miss out on capabilities you truly need.

- **Consider your budget.** Before selecting a plan, try to get a clear picture of how much you will allocate monthly or annually for social media management tools. Based on our advisors' interactions with marketing software buyers in the past two years, we observed that most businesses allocate **more than $375 per month** for social media solutions[\[4\]](#footnotes). Remember to account for base subscription fees, track add-on costs for extra brand or team members, and consider potential savings with annual billing. This detailed evaluation will help you understand what you can afford without straining your finances.

- **Compare the features of each pricing plan.** Zoho Social’s pricing plans vary in terms of features, brand capacity, and team size. Consider the number of social channels supported, scheduling and automation capabilities, reporting depth, team collaboration tools, and client management features. Your need for more social platforms implies a higher tier requirement. The Standard plan offers basic scheduling, while Professional and above offers advanced scheduling and automation options. Reporting depth ranges from very basic (in Standard) to comprehensive (in Premium and above). Similarly, meaningful team collaboration is only available in Premium and higher tiers, and client management features are exclusive to Agency plans. Methodically evaluate these factors to select a plan that delivers optimal value for your social media needs.

## Is Zoho Social right for you?

### Assessing your requirements

To determine if Zoho Social is the right fit for you, assess your specific requirements and compare them against what the software offers. Start by identifying the key aspects of social media management that are most important to your team. Ask yourself the following questions:

- **What kind of a user are you?** If you’re a single user managing a single brand, the Standard or Professional plan can be a great fit. The Premium plan is ideal if you have a team of three or fewer members and need advanced integration, like with CRMs. For digital agencies or individuals managing multiple brands (around 10 or more), the Agency tiers provide better value and functionality.
- **How many social media accounts do you manage?** If your marketing is done mostly on one social platform, then a niche tool or that platform’s native tools may suffice for you. However, if you maintain a presence across multiple social networks, Zoho Social offers a unified solution by consolidating all your channels in one place. The Free plan supports up to six channels for a single brand, while paid plans accommodate more channels and brands based on your scale of operations.

- **What type of content do you primarily share?** Zoho Social supports various content types including images, videos, carousel posts, and stories across different platforms. The platform offers features like an image editor and custom video thumbnails to enhance your content quality. Select a plan that includes content features most relevant to your social media strategy.

- **How important is scheduling and automation?** If your workflow depends on advanced scheduling capabilities like bulk scheduling, repeat posting, or AI-based scheduling (like with SmartQ), you'll need to consider the Professional plan or higher. The Standard plans offer basic scheduling but lacks advanced automation features that give you back time and improve your social output.
- **Do you need detailed analytics and reporting?** Zoho Social offers robust analytics for improving your social marketing efforts—but for deeper market research, you may need to pair it with other specialized tools. All paid plans include basic channel summaries, but if you need advanced analytics, custom reports, or client-facing insights, you’ll need at least the Premium plan. Agency plans add brand-specific reporting and client portals for streamlined client communication.

- **Do you need extensive social listening features?** Zoho Social provides listening streams and keyword tracking (including competitor brand mentions) in the Professional plan and above. While it's not as comprehensive as enterprise-level social intelligence platforms, it offers all-in-one everyday social monitoring sufficient for most businesses’ brand management needs.
- **How does your team collaborate?** If collaboration is a priority, the Premium plan is a strong choice. It includes three team members and offers tools like internal discussion dashboards and content approval workflows. While the Professional plan allows you to add team members for an extra charge, it lacks key collaboration features. Larger agencies should consider the Agency tiers, which include five team members by default and are better suited for both internal teamwork and managing multiple clients.

Excerpts are evaluated for positive or negative sentiment and receive a sentiment score. Excerpts represent user opinion and do not represent the views of, nor constitute, an endorsement by Capterra or its affiliates. Excerpts are not edited for clarity or grammar.

2. Our research team identified these features from vendor websites (as of April 3, 2025) based on their analysis of what users find valuable or expect from social media marketing software. This list is not exhaustive. For additional features, refer to the vendor’s website.

3. To identify the key features, we asked users to rate, on a scale of “low importance” to “critical,” how important different features are for social media marketing software. The features showcased are those that the highest percentage of reviewers rated as “highly important” or “critical” over the past two years (as of April 3, 2025).

4. Findings are based on data from conversations that Capterra's advisor team has daily with software buyers seeking guidance on purchase decisions. The data used to create this report is based on interactions with small and midsize businesses seeking marketing tools. For this report, we analyzed approximately 900 phone interactions from April 2023 to April 2025.
