August 9, 2018 3.0 We all want an all-in-one tool for social media, and it's difficult to compare things when 3rd party apps across the board need to constantly adapt to the requirements of Facebook, Instagram, etc. We tried Zoho for awhile, switched to Hootsuite, and are now trying Zoho again for the better analytics for clients. Pros Reporting. As an agency, we need to have a tool that easily compacts report information into a presentable form. Cons Indirect scheduling to Instagram and inability to tag Facebook pages in posts; anything that requires exiting the platform is a hassle and lowers the value of the tool...and all the tools are expensive. The monitoring streams are great too, allowing you to jump into the conversations your brand needs to be in very quickly and without spending hours finding the conversations and influencers yourself. Cons I wish I could use the collaborate function on the mobile app so that the team collab never stops when Im on the go. I also am having some trouble with messaging profiles on the go, but not sure if that feature is there and I just cannot find it. I could not even connect my IG and have it connected, so it pretty much made the app useless to me as I need to post on all my social media platforms. I also track various hashtags so I know when something is trending, I can create content around it. I like the platform, I will keep using it. Pros It has a free trial, Zoho Social can be used for different platforms, I use it for Instagram. They offer a lot of functions, the most important from them is scheduling. This is something Instagram currently does not provide. It has also a mobile app, so I can check on the status of my posts quickly, on the go. Most schedulers have the basic function of being able plan out your posts. Zoho Social, however, is integrated right into your other apps with them (if you have them) and they talk to each other seamlessly. We're using the CRM Plus, and Social along with this software cuts time off transferring leads and contact from one place to another. You can make the connection right there. It's awesome! Cons I'd like to see Pinterest added. We actually utilized this overlooked social media platform and we'd love to see it added for scheduling. I like that I can schedule posts even for Instagram and LinkedIn and track performance on each post on each account... Cons One of the most annoying things is uploading the videos - it takes forever and most of the times are unsuccessful, the support system is not so great - I send the email to my account manager and he answers me with generic email like 2 times and then after 3 days I get help from completely another person - I mean what's the point to have account manager if he is not doing his job!!!
