Overall I was happy with the features and guests seemed to enjoy working with it. It does accommodate multiple languages, which is a plus.

Pros

A cloud based software that helps you manage your rental properties. Coordinates booking, guest messages, payments and maintenance tasks.

Cons

It is a little pricey compared to other platforms and they add on charges at times but it was still worthwhile

Cons

The calendar can be a bit frustrating at times and making adjustments to bookings isn't as intuitive as it could be in my opinion

### "Get it if you can Afford it"

The experience was overall good because whenever I had issues the customer support responded very promptly.

Pros

I like how easy it was to synchronize with my personal calendar. Customer support was always ready to assist with any issues I had.

Cons

It's too expensive and there were too many technical issues with it such as trouble shooting. There are some features that requires additional fee but it was not clear from the get go that additional fees would be needed.

They should just give the owner the management interface and let the property manager decide what features / information the owner has access too.

Pros

Most importantly, channel management works well.

Cons

The property owner's portal is terrible. Lacks information, to the point I feel like they are trying to conceal information from the owner. -Calendar view only displays one unit at a time -No room status (clean/dirty) -No channel information -No room tax information -No total revenue information -Jenky estimated owner revenue -Selecting date range is jenky

Guesty has been the worst decision I have made since I opened my business. Guesty overcharges and under delivers.

Pros

I liked the layout of Guesty, but that was it.

Cons

No phone number for customer service, due to the time change any questions would take half a day to get a response.

### "Warning: Guesty Free Trial Disconnects Other Airbnb Management Software!!"

I wanted to create a trial booking site with Guesty, but their process required I link my Airbnb listing first so the listing content could be used on my new Guesty booking site. But when I connected, my existing Airbnb connection to a different booking manager was lost, and my entire Airbnb calendar showed as available! I started to get bombarded with bookings for unavailable dates. Disconnecting Airbnb from Guesty's interface wasn't enough... I had to go to Airbnb & remove the connection there too. Then reinstate all my bookings & decline a bunch of booking requests which caused a lot of angst & harmed my Airbnb status (thank goodness I didn't have instant book turned on!!!). All my minimum stay rules were wiped out at the same time (even though they'd been created on Airbnb). At no point did the Guesty free trial advise that Airbnb only allows one property manager software to be linked, and if I connected Guesty, it deleted whatever I'd previously set up. Incredibly unprofessional and hugely inconvenient.

Pros

Fast setup, easy to understand. Price seemed fair.

Cons

Inflexible process for guest to book is illogical if you're a host with only one property (it too many steps, designed for when there's multiple properties to select from). The Guesty Airbnb setup DOES NOT WARN YOU that by linking your Airbnb account, you'll lose any other active connections you have with Airbnb.

### "Great but pricey "

Customer service is not great, their salespeople want to sell products so they offer special deals and free trials but they end up charging you anyway regardless of the "trial" and not honouring their deals. Other technical issues get sorted in an OK timeframe.

Pros

It saves me a lot of time compared to my previous property management systems. The automation is great and the unified inbox works well. I can pull lots of different reservation reports but there are little to no analytics on the business unless you pay an additional fee per property.

Cons

Its costly and accounting is very complicated and analytics are very limited, everything is an additional expense which is very frustrating.

Overall the system does what I most need it too, i am paying a premium price for using only a small fraction of the features. I believe there are features that would be great and helpful additions for me, but finding the time and help to work through them is difficult

Pros

I purchased Guesty when we had 6 rental cabins about 4 years ago and we are now up to 10 and adding another 1-2 this next year. I needed to final a solution that kept all my management, booking information, and communications in one spot, instead of multiple sources. I love that I can make changes to pricing, unit details, policies, etc in one place and it pushes out to all booking sources instead of having to log in to several places to make the changes

Cons

Support is the biggest let down. There are so many features in Guesty that I have not figured out how to use because the pages of manuals they have online to figure it out are not user friendly and support won’t take time to walk you through things. Many of the features I use I have had to be figured out through trial and error.

High level of functionality and staff and good all round service. There are frustrating delays in dealing with issues, customer support cut you off if you do not stay online with them constantly and then the process has to be re opened with another support person. It would be good if we had a group of people managing our account, so that ther eis some familiarity. The price is very high for a South African based company.

### "Pay for what you get "

We have been very happy with the consistency in the service with Guesty and look to integrate more services so we more things are done in a centralised place. There was an issue with technical support and the way they dealt with us but I would say that is getting better. This was purely down to how quickly a ticket was getting closed due to impatience to respond. In this circumstance I didn't like the fact that the customers service is put at a lower importance than the technical support workers time. This isn't a good enough attitude.

Pros

The ease of use when managing properties at scale. Live calendar syncing is always working and if there are any issues with the software we have technical support always available.

Cons

It is more expensive than competitors but the functions and infrastructure in place in Guesty allows you to justify the cost.

We accept that Guesty is as good as most of the solutions out there and you can spend a lot of time seeking comparable alternatives. It can be a significantly expensive option so we continue to consider alternatives.

Provides just about all of the features that we need

Cons

Rapid support and solutions to issues raised can be problematic. Annual costs can be very significant and cannot be ignored

Reason for choosing Guesty

by chance only and a quick chat with someone else considering it. Proper due diligence of alternatives was not made at that time.

Better than Lodgify, streamline, and Escapia. However, Guesty is not good for enterprise property managers.

Pros

Integrates with AirBnB very well. \[sensitive content hidden\] is a rockstar.

Cons

Accounting sucks, not past data for cancelled reservations or homes that have off-boarded, slow to update key API connections.

Overall, the experience is quite smooth, with most of the daily work being done in Guesty. The customer support response time is also good, and they generally provide timely assistance.

Pros

Multiple user support makes it ideal for online team collaboration. The reservation form feature is very convenient for filtering diverse lists for statistics. Automation greatly reduces the workload for customer support.

Cons

The inbox filtering options are not comprehensive enough. Property address modifications often fail to save correctly and frequently require customer support assistance. The visible time range in the owner portal cannot be set.

It is very easy to use and makes it easy to manage my portfolio of properties. The accounting module saves me many hours a month!
