Many routers even have openvpn installed on them so you can simply install the certificates on your phone or laptop and connect back to your home LAN for security or access to the local network. If your router does not have this and you are somewhat tech savvy, you can set this up on a Raspberry Pi. Cons The app is a little cumbersome to use. A simpler UI would be nice. Their code is on GitHub so you can make alternations to it that suits your needs. Cons Unless you're very tech savvy it is pretty difficult to set up. There are all sort of configurations that needs tinkering before you can hit the ground running.
