It makes you more efficient and automates a lot of manual work to give you time to focus on strategic thinking. It is cheaper than Mailchimp and more complete. Pros MixMax upgrades the functionalities of e mail. It allows you to share your calendar and auto generates meetings meaning there is less back and forth to find some common time for conference calls. Also, the templates are extremely helpful. Pros Even at the lower levels, the program makes it very simple to design templates, track opens / downloads, and share information with team members. Cons The price is a bit high for some of the more advanced features, but that is mostly a subjective viewpoint. September 23, 2018 4.0 Mixmax is great - easy to use, simple functions and robust features - you can easily schedule email campaigns, track numbers, create more than dull emails (adding videos, pictures, links etc.), would recommend to all. Pros I liked mostly various features you can use - creating different templates, making links when attaching documents, ability to see which doc was opened/clicked, adding diff links, photos, docs, videos etc. Also, scheduling emails is great and works great. Cons It had its bugs from time to time, like analytics aren't accurate sometimes which gives you incomplete statistics and encountered some real time reporting performance issues. It has many features so you have to get use to it, but it is simple the process is quick. Mixmax has helped us be more efficient and build scalable processes. Pros The feature we enjoy the most is being able to predict the best time send an email. This improves the response rate. Scheduling call by sharing the calendar on the body of the email is tremendous help as well. Support has also been super quick and extremely informative. They know what they are doing. Cons Sometimes the chrome extension for gmail does not display clicks and other metrics and one has to login to the mixmax website for a detailed view. I mean people used to just not reply to my emails and I couldnt keep track of everything going on as I was constantly working on multiple projects. This totally solved it and I would not be able to be even 1/15 as productive without this software. Cons It sometimes has odd bugs in the email client, I am not sure why but for the most part it seems like that has been resolved. I havent seen any issues in awhile. Pros You can simply do so much. MixMax has helped me increase the amount fo work I can do in a set amount of time, not only with sequences but also email reminders and templates. Cons I guess one thing is that, from time to time, it can be a little too complicated. This is more of a learn by using type software - it's difficult to educate yourself on all of the features by just reading about it. I highly recommend that anyone who is looking to become more productive with their emails try the free trial version of Mixmax. Cons The software is incredibly expensive if you're looking at enterprise - I don't think most people at the company I work for would use it, but I certainly would. However, I'm not given the option to purchase a single license. You can find a lot of the features spread across other apps like Gorgias and Boomerange, Mixmax just happens to consolidate it. Pros Mixmax is a great tool for automating and customizing emails. There are a lot of features that are great. From the sales side, it is a big asset and saves a lot of time. Cons Overall it is a good software with a limited about of cons. It has great features and the concept is great. There will occasionally be a bug in the software but it gets fixed pretty quick. Scheduling meetings and delay email send also a nice feature. Cons I am always wary of third-party add-ins that need to tap into things like your contact list. July 24, 2022 4.0 I liked mixmax a lot! It was nice to stop wondering if my emails had been read or not and if any attachments went through successfully. My time is limited and I have to manage it well. With our reputation on the line it's crucial that we handle all communications with professionalism and in a timely fashion. Pros Mix max provides a number of services that help me with my daily work tasks. Compose, schedule, and track emails. Mixmax tells you if your client or coworker read your email and if they downloaded any attachments. This is incredibly helpful and such a huge time saver! Bonus points for a calendar and email templates! Cons There are alternatives that provide the same service for a lower price. I'd say it's paid for itself with the business we've already got from the sequencing. Pros I searched for many weeks trying to find the best sequencing platform that works for our business. There are hundreds of options out there, but only Mixmax was able to perform every function I need and some I didn't realize I needed! Cons It's costly to add users or to share templates to your team. My favorite feature is the ability to share your calendar availability with prospective clients. This feature cuts out the unnecessary email(s) when trying to schedule a meeting. Once a slot is selected, the appointment automatically posts on my calendar. I have seen increased response rates as a result of this feature. Cons The expense associated with the premium features. The problem is; we're all getting flooded with emails and if we don't reply right away it goes down further into our inbox...and forgotten. The best thing about Mixmax is their sequence feature. You send out a template email and if the recipient doesn't respond another goes out and another...as many as you want until you get a response! What a time saver this is! No more trying to remember if they responded, having to write another email and son on. And that feature is just the tip of the iceberg. So much good stuff in here...just get it! Cons Would love for it to integrate with my CRM (Zendesk Sell) but that's a minor thing. But I can accomplish the same thing with Streak (free) and Gmail's canned responses (also free) and my booking software (I need it anyway for other things). So I sadly said goodbye. :( That said, if my biz was focused on cold outreach I would go back in a heartbeat. Pros My very favorite feature was that it'd track open times according to the recipient so you can learn best send times. That was super cool and useful. All the features are just so good and work together so nicely. The dashboard is really sleek and intuitive. Cons I was very confused what features would be included in the actual paid plan.
