Very responsive. Easy to work with. Have offered many more services that we did not have available from our last payroll company.

Pros

The customer service has been excellent. They are very responsive and they made the transition from our previous company so easy. Highly Reccomend!

Cons

No complaints thus far. There are always a few things to work out when you switch service providers, but they have been extremely responsive and accommodating.

### "Honest review of company and products"

In the beginning, my first couple years I was very happy with US Payroll. Then that company was bought out. Experience not so great, see above.

Pros

Originally with our 1st contract the pricing was stable and steady. We have 2 payroll employees getting paid once a month. Every year or so they raise my rate without warning. I then have to call and have them research the increase. They then do reduce it a bit. I feel that the year end pricing is quite high, once again, for 2 employees (24 checks per year). I called yesterday regarding this, was told management will be told and I would get a call back. Have not yet received a return call

Cons

Have not had a constant representative, seems that my original rep is out a lot. Have difficulty getting to my quarterly reports, have had to call several times to get my information.

We did not stay with asure for every long and changed over to a system that can handle multi-state and more advanced payrolls.

Pros

It is easy to use for a small business, but was very much out of compliance with multi-state taxation.

Cons

The system was a small business platform with no real single database for what we were looking for. The tax engine was not compliant. Reporting was minimal. In comparison to other systems, the pricing should have been much less to be competitive.

Pros

The product still has value because it addresses centralizing payroll, time attendance, benefits and compliance reminders for workforce administration, and features such as time attendance can genuinely help if the internal process is simple, stable and well defined from the beginning.

Cons

The improvement areas are significant: administrative interface, requires accurate setup, and less attractive if payroll needs are simple. In a demanding professional environment, these points can create friction when users expect strong controls, analytics, scalability and clean auditability.

Its been quick, easy, convenient, which is what i want in a payroll and tax company. They even helped me look into cal savers information as a new business that I was unaware of.

Pros

They are always available to answer phone calls and your questions and are very quick to make changes if they are needed.

Cons

Nothing really, i havent personally had any issues with them at all

We have had to overcome a few bumps in the road with them and we are still at a point we are trying to get to the next level, there was a change in who was helping us again so we somewhat had to start over. But I am remaining confident that we will get there as they promised.

Pros

We have been with them since it was Payroll Maxx. The people that work there are always very nice and willing to work with you. They seem to genuinely care about your company not just a name in the system.

Cons

The change of our contacts that do our payroll. We have had a new person most every year.

I has turned out to be great! I am very pleased with my new customer rep. Wasn't happy when the old one retired and no one told me and I was hanging out there without one.

Pros

Once I got the hang of the program it is pretty easy to use. I also have a good representative that responds back in a timely manner.

Cons

Training doesn't teach you enough when starting because it isn't user friendly and there is no manual.

Assure is a service that works well for my small business. Their flexibility has worked well for us and provides a cost effective way of handling all legal aspects of our payroll processing.

Pros

They provide a user friendly interface with excellent training. Follow up support is available as needed. Friendly and professional personnel.

Cons

None at this time. They have modified their system over the time we have used them and made it better each time.

Poor experience. I do not recommend using this software. It is impossible to reach someone for any type of help.

Pros

There was nothing really good about this program. It was not user friendly. Our accountants dealt with it.

Cons

The interface was not user-friendly. My staff got so angry at it that they would come to the office for us to explain how to use it.

Pros

The website is fairly easy to use and the customer service is responsive. The integration with other assure products is good.

Cons

The reporting is not great and it's surprising how much of it is manually done. Everything works fine, but we're still having to manually send reports etc.

Very good - the staff is wonderful and payroll is processed fast.

Pros

Very easy submission. Our rep Page always responds immediately with any concerns. Corey checks in and is available for any issues.

Cons

Really nothing comes to mind. We are a small office and used to do the payroll in house. Was always easy to update things as needed but having Assure to do it is wonderful. Tax answers may come a little slower than regular payroll but overall all ok.

I've never had any issues with Asure. Submitting payroll is a breeze and communication about workshops/webinars have been helpful.

Pros

I appreciate the fact that submitting payroll is very easy. I'm also happy that setting up new employees is all online.

Cons

I do feel that when I am looking for something that was sent to me - reports, etc. - I'm not provided that much help and instead immediately am told that it will be an extra charge for duplicate reports to be sent to you. That is one way that I feel like I am a number and not a client that Asure wants to help.

None since I don't know Tax Management and I think I will like the WHOLE payroll system.

Pros

I love my rep \[sensitive content hidden\]. I think the Payroll system will be good.

Cons

No being informed when I was taken over by Asure of the benefits I already had then being sold an upgrade of which I did not need because I already had what I was asking for. Now that I have been introduced to what I have had for over a year or more I think I will really like it. Tax Management? What is this? Again this brings up something that I must have and have no idea I do. Any chance I can learn this too.

i would request speaking with your report preparers to clear up login problems and they would not respond.... i fixed thing over and over..

Pros

if it works.. great.. but the time and money paid to the states on our part is not good..

Cons

the fines and penalities from our state payroll tax returns not being filed on time.. we lost our lower rates from state because this was happening.. your training was very weak.
