Cons

The template for group and individual competitions is confusing and unclear. It also cannot be adjusted easily.

Pros

The software is very user friendly and easy to maneuver. As an administrator for the software for my department, I am easily able to setup volunteer opportunities and add volunteers.

Cons

I currently do not have any issues with the software at this time.

Ease with putting in information and sending it to people to ask for help for donations. The stickers and options of pages to look at are nice too.

Cons

Hard to know which link to send to people on Facebook. And sometimes hard to find people and navigate around.

Love the help I got for NY Gives Day.

Pros

The GiveGab website is user friendly. I had no problems setting up our account and profile. The staff are some of the friendliest people I have met and are willing to even come to our office to show us all the feature and products they have to offer.

Cons

Regarding the Volunteer side of the software, I wish there were more features to run reports on volunteer hours, days, etc.

It was a bit confusing at first but overall it is a good tool for nonprofits

Pros

The software was fairly self explanatory. Once I got an account and got logged in, everything was laid out pretty well

Cons

I really wasn’t sure where to start. It took me a bit to figure out that I needed to click on “become a fundraiser” in order to get to the tools.

Pretty intuitive, fun to add features like video and photos, great linkage and ability to duplicate the look of our website

Cons

Option rich, sometimes too much so. It is nice to add so many resources but I wonder what really sells the point and what just drowns visitors with too much info

Pros

I love the ticketing features and also the annual giving days. It's easy to set up programs and fundraisers. They system easily keeps track of separate funds as well as aggregated lists.

Cons

The cost is high for our organization as we are fairly new to fundraising like this and annual giving. We hope to be able to incorporate a more robust program in the future.

Pros

Amazing customer support! I was able to contact their chat bubble and have an answer in less than 30 seconds. They're personable and friendly, too. Happy to help.

Cons

They require you to provide someone from your organization's social security number in order to set up fund transfers.

Many of our donors hadn't heard of GiveGab as of a couple years ago, which resulted in them not using it.

I liked how easy it was to set up the giving page, customize it and use it. We received no complaints from donors. Also, I liked how donor-centered it was.

Cons

I didn't like that the text was in html code and you didn't know how it would look like until you submitted it. Would be nice to have a preview feature

Cons

Pros

The software was very easy to use as an admin and as a donor. We had no hiccups or problems at all and didn't hear about any problems from donors.

Cons

The only issue we faced was that our giving page asked some custom questions of donors, and that data was not supplied in our data download from GiveGab.

Ease of copying prior years' pages to the current year to cut down on time to create page. I also liked how you could include photos and videos on your profile. And, the progress bar to show progress towards goal is great.

Cons

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to find where all the information is located--i.e where to change your bank account info, where to add matches, etc.

Great customer support and very flexible. Would highly recommend to any other fundraising agency or non-profit organization.

Pros

We are launching a GIVING DAY for the first time and the software is quite easy to use AND allows for immediate changes. And great customer support staff!

Cons

As with any software program, making changes to the software template is not that easy but we've worked around static/fixed templates.

The flexibility, the software program itself, and their price was very competitive. Great staff and always available.

It presents a page on the giving day to assist donors making multiple donations.

Pros

The software platform page for the non-profit is easy to setup with step to step guides. I like the option for the customers to pay the fees.

Cons

The coding and text with fonts were a little hard to navigate. Need to go to the page several times to see then adjust sizes. The fees are a little steep still.

Out of GiveGab control, but wish we could see what state the anonymous donations are from!
