Admin responsibilities such as querying a transaction, reviewing history and payment disbursements. Flexible reporting Convenient to issue/record refunds. Cons Ability to record or view reports on donor initiated disputes and outcomes of disputes. Limited flexibility with notification settings per form/campaign. I really enjoyed the creativity that comes with it, but it was not compatible with our current software and so we only used it in a free trial and won't be using it in the future. Pros I love that this software is modern, easy to use, and tech forward. You can create really beautiful platforms to encourage donations using GiveGab. Cons Unfortunately, we tried to use this platform with our existing software and it didn't work out. Hopefully, either of the softwares can learn to work better with others down the line. Pros The staff was very responsive whenever we needed help. It was easy to see the funds that had been raised and to export the donor data so that we could follow up and thank them. Cons We struggled a little bit with the fact that you have to link a bank account to the system (we would have preferred a check) but the staff were very helpful in finding a way for us to work with our Home office to get the bank account info we needed. Cons We had a difficult time sorting through some of the features, but we have not had that much time and experience with it. This was the 3rd year of using it for our NH Gives Campaign and Giving Tuesday Campaign. Somehow the automated thank was pulled from last year-we are not sure how we missed that. Cons Sometimes is it a little difficult to remember where certain features are located. The Peer to Peer function was a bit challenging to get started, but seemed to work well once it was set up. The output is clean and attractive. Cons I had issues with using the platform for two different giving days over two years. There was no way to deactivate the previous years page. Tech support is really friendly and quick to respond. Working on giving days, events, and general fundraising follows a very similar format. Cons I could just be missing this in a menu, but it would be nice to have a 'test mode' to help train staff and volunteers on how registration works. It's easy, attractive, and as the administrator, I appreciate that changes I make on the organizational page carry through to peer pages. Cons I have only 2 complaints. First, the email we (and our fundraisers) get at the end of a campaign that says "Girls Inc. of Holyoke has ended." It has?? Second, I have the worst time trying to get the header photos for a campaign to fit the page. I've tried everything, and no matter what I do, it gets re-cropped, stretched, or otherwise looks weird. We have used GiveGab for about 4 years and have been very happy with our experience. GiveGab provides some awesome services that are easy to use, and we always get support when needed. GiveGab has been an amazing tool and I recommend it to other nonprofits. Pros It is easy to use and fun. Cons Past volunteer opportunities can not be deleted from the system. I also love that it gives the option for the donor to pay for the GiveGab fees. Pros This software was easy to use and easy to set up. It was also easy to create new events for donation collection. Because we work with a national company this was free to use. Cons It was a bit tricky to figure out how to update information on the profile page that the general public would see.
