Cons Nothing major comes to mind. The software is superb! My only criticism would be aesthetic or UI related, specifically: the navigation bar on the #NYGIVEDAYS profile pages, as it currently stands, does not feel consistent with the rest of the site, in terms of look and feel. I always forget the volunteer stuff I do, so this is a great digital trail. Pros This format makes me want to volunteer. It is super easy to navigate, and I can change my mind (in plenty of time in advance) without having to send a million emails. Cons I do not like that when you get an email to leave a review, it does not take you directly to the volunteer opportunity that it is reminding you to log. They offer so much that at times it can be confusing for new nonprofits what they need to do on their dashboards to create a page verses a profile. Cons The formatting is difficult and often can get lost, causing a restart of page design. The tool kits are extremely helpful, and have helped me greatly in organizing my plans and ideas for the donation day. I feel like I have learned so much just from the tool kits and the webinars, which will help me in all of my future endeavors :-) Pros I enjoy the clean presentation of the site. Cons It can be a bit difficult to navigate, And certain information does not get transposed as it should. Ex: I fully structured the “about us“ section on my donation dashboard, but did not get transposed to our main landing page, nor was any of our contact information, website etc. And I didn’t realize that until someone else looked at our page and noticed that we had no information there. April 9, 2021 5.0 This will be our first year using GiveGab and, although it's still more than six weeks away, we can already feel the momentum. The support provided around the platform is excellent. You are not left on your own to figure things out. Your project manager really walks you through step by step. Pros I like the customization, and their marketing support is excellent (to ensure a successful event for us). Cons Some of the technical functionality could be a little clearer... saving during interim steps. Sometimes changes (on your profile, your page) could show up a little more quickly. I'm aware that we can't copy the resources/changes we make this year into next year's Giving Day. I am not looking forward to that as we have put in a ton of work. Pros Thrilled to have chosen this as our primary fundraising software as it's used by local and state giving days. Makes things much easier. Cons Would love to see recurring gifts included as an option for giving days. Pros This program is easy to use, We use it and it is great for fundraising. It does most of the work for you. Cons As a non-profit it is a little pricey for smaller non-profits. It can increase your giving but you have to weight the cost of the program.
