Pros It was developed with ease of use in mind, and the system is easily to customizable for each company’s needs. The new custom form builder that I a demo for will be extremely useful. Also the support team is excellent Cons The one feature I would like to see added is the ability to “save filter presets” when viewing columns. For example, when looking at the “Action Items” or “Assets List” I apply filters to the columns. When an Item is opened to be reviewed, then the back page button is clicked afterwards, it removes any filters and take you back to page #1. Having the system save the page # and any filters, would be a huge time saver. We use the system to lookup lots of asset history, so we spend a fair amount of time navigating these pages. Right from initial building of our program to ongoing additions or upgrades they have been fantastic. Pros What I really loved about the software is having everything available and trackable. My employees do daily sheets on their Cell phones and it uploads to data base. It has made our Secor audit so much easier. Our vehicle and equipment maintenance program is by far better now. Cons Not much to say on least like about software. Generic FLHA has some things that do not pertain to our job scopes. Reason for choosing Safety Evolution We chose safety evolution after talking to them and doing research on what they could provide to help us to go digital with all of our safety needs. The representatives always make me feel like I'm the only client they have, which I know isn't so. They spend as much time as they need to until I understand where to find the information I'm looking for. Pros I'm a new employee at my job but since I came on board I found the product fairly easy to use. With a little training and the quick tips they send I found I was able to get around with little or no problems. If I can't find something a rep is always there to help me. That is really important to me. Cons At this point, because I'm new, I don't see anything that I like the least about the software. It seems to be fairly user friendly which is very important to me. The system allows me to tend to managing the data rather than spending hours analyzing it, in turn this saves me thousands in administration cost and gives me the ability to see trends as they develop and be proactive before it's a problem. The ease of use the software has makes it a great option for experienced users as well as users just starting out, the data is easy to understand for all experience levels. I especially like the ability to provide online orientations to my new hires this frees up time when they arrive on their first day by allowing me to focus on training the procedures and methodology rather than spending hours with setting up orientation videos and quizzes. I would highly recommend this software and its team to all users both small and large no matter the industry you work in, it has allowed me to become leading edge while saving me thousands making my business more profitable and lean. Howes & Kozak has always utilized a people based safety approach, and with the Safety Evolution system, behavior based observation data is also tracked, ensuring our management team is always kept current on field observations. The Safety Evolution system has provided us the ability to ensure accountability on all levels, as well as provide easy access to our safety program for all Howes & Kozak employees. From digital site inspections, to an online training matrix that provides alerts when a certification is near expiry, this system has helped our company safety program become stronger.
