November 27, 2018 2.0 We tried to support our "improved" way of allocating people on client projects. We forced designers (and a lot of others) who are routinely tasked to create usable, useful and great looking products to use this cobbled together heap of UI components. The results are that people are routinely 1-2 weeks late with tracking the hours and we had to assign one full-time person to update the plans that are now stored in Easy Project. If you can, avoid this product at all cost. In the state it is in YOU should be paid for using it. Not vice versa. Pros # of features, options and values all over the place (not sure if this is a pro, might be for some) Customizability (that is it requires you to customize it to use it) Runs in a browser Cons Usability – you will be hunting to find that feature you knew you've seen previously. There is a ton of small usability issues. Some things work in ways not even the person in charge of Easy Project cannot explain (and I don't blame him since there are SO MANY options). Projects Manager Market Research Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "A facilitator for project and task management, but complex if one must use all its features" April 29, 2024 4.0 We are a small team, but manage many projects and tools that depend on each other within a publishing chain. Easy Project allows us to isolate developments and deadlines that depend on each other. We use it basically (kanban and tasks) because we do not have enough resources to additionally manage the tool's configuration. It meets our needs very well today. Pros The tool is straightforward and can adapt to multiple project views (kanban, scrum, planning, etc.). It can be configured for different types of users: Business, Project, Development, Management. It is easy to deploy and can be adapted quite simply for basic task tracking uses. Cons The tool is simple but can prove to be powerful and very precise. However, it requires a lot of (too much?) time for configuration. And it loses the advantage of being a time saver in project management because it requires at least a part-time person to configure it and ensure its proper reporting. July 29, 2021 4.0 I found it to be too expensive and cumbersome to work effectively for me. Pros This was my first attempt at finding a software that I could use for both task management and workflow. This software has integrated +Gantt which made it super easy to set up my projects with these templates. Cons It is pretty expensive for a small business. They use Zapier to integrate with third parties. There are a limited number of apps that integrate easily with this app. I don't use Microsoft for everything so I ended up spread out across more apps than I bargained for to suit my needs.
