May 16, 2025 5.0 Overall, it’s made parking at work so much easier. It’s great knowing you’ve got a spot sorted before you even leave the house—definitely takes the stress out of the morning. Would definitely recommend it for any office with shared or limited parking. They also provide a comprehensive app training to the app admin before commencement. Pros Our office has been using the Park-a-Lot booking system at our Everton Park office since November 2024, and honestly, it’s been a great help—especially with the tandem parking setup we have and the summary report of carpark usage. The platform is really easy to use, and booking a spot only takes a few clicks. What I really like is how it handles the tandem bays. Both people sharing the spot has a feature for tandem convo, so there’s no confusion about who's where or when. It just makes the whole process smooth and hassle-free. Cons Honestly, none. I am still exploring the app as its admin at the same time user. Definitely there's to improve, but it serves the purpose of what we need for now. Pros Parkalot is easy to use and i like the app. It's very convenient having the app on my phone. Its very easy to use. Cons I think that Parkalot could be improved if the text, as it displays on the app, was larger. And sometimes it takes a long time to get a response when reporting that someone has parked in my space. Often i don't get a reply and an alternative space. On busy school day mornings after dropping my child at school, I know if have a spot reserved or not as I am driving to work and that is priceless. :) Pros Convenient and ease of access. I use it everyday that I drive to work as my parking spot is not fixed. If I don't like a particular parking because the spot is too narrow. I can instantly release the spot and be allocated another one available. Cons I cannot see who is allocated a particular spot in case they are parked in my spot. Regarding the fact that you can't see in the app who parked in your spot, this is most likely due to the privacy settings configured by your account admin. Since this might have been set up in this way to protect employees' privacy, it's not very likely that it will be changed. However, in situations like you described - when somebody takes your reserved spot - you can use the "Incidents" feature and text your company car park admin with appropriate information, which helps resolve such conflicts more quickly. April 15, 2025 4.0 I think it has been good so far. it was easy to release my space when I went overseas, and has simplified the logistics of parking at our office Pros The system is simple and easy to use, and is very quick to release a spot. I also like that I can request my own spot back if I release it by accident Cons The current set up doesn't cater for nose to tail parking, so if I park in my space, then I block the space behind me. If I move my car to the back space, its possible I won't know who has parked me in. I think for set ups like this, it would be good if the app paired those parking spaces (ie, 79 and 80), and displayed the name of the other person in the other space, so working out who has parked in front can be easier. Pros I'm lucky to have an allotted space for work but recently, with the lighter mornings/ evenings, I have started to walk to work so freeing up my space for others to use is a great option.
