Icewarp was a definite winner on my shortlist by the number of features offered at a decent cost. Even though in my use scenario conferences and chat are not used, this could be a great feature for others. Icewarp is not only about mail server, it offers a comprehensive collaboration ecosystem with video conferences, team chat, cloud storage and some other perks.I personally like Documents webservice and cloud sharing features offered by icewarp 9n top of mail.Recent Epos release delivered a bunch of enhancements which I personally like a lot, like attachments tracking, modern webmail and modern look.Happy user for 3 years already! Most of the time their email server is down. Emails are in your outbox for more than an hour before sending. Pros The conference, Features of Desktop Client, and Tags feature are good to search if the server is not down. Cons Buy this IceWarp if you want to loose your patience and peace of mind. I am Using Icewarp Desktop client and always server is not available. i have to write email and it will be in outbox for an hour. You cannot search emails. Support is useless and waste your time but they will not solve your issues. So far everything has been working stably well. There are also only positive experiences with the support team. At first I thought that in the evenings after the end of the working day I could not communicate with a real support person, but I was wrong and I managed to chat with the support person over the chat window even at 22:30 in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to get answers to technical questions so quickly. Cons Pricing could be more flexible! Annual price increase in the range of 25% is not very pleasant! VPN : be careful, by default some, update open this and with public access... SIP need to be connected to an external operator. MAil is a good service, you can perfectly manage that (for example : we use rules to use external SMTP server for several domain). Pros Icewarp integrate all you want to communicate, that a good all-in-on esolution and have a very easy setup. Could be installed on Windows or Linux (Red Hat). The auto backup of user data is a helpful feature to ensure that you don't lose essential data if the physical server goes down. The ability to have files that users can download via webmail ensures our staff have access to documents as long as they have Internet access. Cons Mailboxes that are close to capacity can sometimes not give a warning that they are close to full, thus making the chance for the user's mail to stop working grow exponentially. There's a good amount of available features. Cons Continual issues with individual mailboxes and the IceWarp plugin would cause me to have to re-create Outlook profiles repeatedly. Support, while responsive, would give me the same canned answers every time, either update this or re-create that. Despite having the same issue repeatedly we were never able to hone in on what the root of the problem was. After 2+ years of struggle I was finally forced to drop IceWarp and migrate my customer base to AppRiver at my expense. Review Source DK David K. Overall if you are looking for a simple email platform at a relatively cost effective rate, then this is a great product. Cons It is simple but there are some nuances that you have to be aware of.
