"Team Management"
Overall: For teams under 20 participants it is a great way to track attendance and the map feature is very benificial. I’ve used other team apps before and this is my preference.
Pros: You can easily see who on your team is able to make games or practices. You can also see who has not responded if you need to follow up. You can add the address and it links directly to maps which is very helpful if you play at different locations.
Cons: There is an automated email after every game to vote for a player of the game. If you do not attend the game you are still on this automatic push.
"Great to connect to your team!"
Overall: Fantastic- can't believe we didn't use before!
Pros: Our netball team use this to keep track of fixtures. It is very simple to use. Very clear to see weekly games - location/time/opponent all clearly stated. You can see if other members are available or not which is so handy when trying to organise a big team. Post-fixture features such as player of the match give it a "fun" edge.
Cons: If you use the web version it can get quite confusing and a lot of emails are received. Downloading the app is a must.
"Great APP, slow customer support"
Overall: The Teamer app is basically sound and it has been simple applying it's Sports centred format to our music group. When something goes wrong technically it is extremely difficult to get adequate and timely support. If it was my decision I would be looking elsewhere based solely on the support levels received from Teamer since Pitchero bought them.
Pros: Easy to:- setup and invite users setup and schedule events Good for Track and Trace contact details attendance calendar
Cons: Email notifications are a bit chatty Teamer support since Pitchero took over is abysmal (it was FANTASTIC before that) 2 x member profiles - confusing for users
"Great tool for simplifying complex team selection"
Overall: Great - really helps to bring the team together
Pros: Updating availability for cricket matches, then accepting selection requests and keeping tabs on scores and results
Cons: Once selected, it's difficult to unselect yourself (admin needs to do it) if there's a change in circumstances
"Best in Class"
Overall: All my children's teams have been organised on Teamer by various organisers. So handy to be able to access all upcoming events via the android app, linking maps to games etc. One team used it to collect payments also, this is a cool feature.
"Teamer is a great partner for my Taekwondo School"
Pros: I love how simple is to keep everything organized. I keep the team posted regarding tournaments, dual meets, tests etc.
Cons: If I must point out something I think the app could work a little better. Sometimes it reset itself and I have to start all over again.
"Amazing for organising my team"
Overall: I ran a squash team in the north-west and Teamer was invaluable in helping me to organise who plays each week and to take payments each week.
