Overall we've had a great experience. Very clear communications and easy to work with.

Pros

Shipfusion is a high quality 3PL that delivers our orders on time. Their software is very easy to setup (Shopify integration). The customer success team walks you through the process including with a detailed onboarding call. Their customer support is very responsive (often live chat) on their website or via email.

Cons

The software has a bit of a learning curve. This is due to the many features it allows on the dashboard. A walkthrough guide or pre-recorded demo videos of how to use each section is a suggestion for future development.

Overall my experience with Ship Fusion has been a very positive one. I really appreciate how much they are concerned about our business and helping us to continue to grow. I also really appreciate the relationship with our account managers, how quick they are to respond and helpful us resolve any issues we may have or answer any questions we may have. I also appreciate how much they invest in their customer portal and technology. Their customer portal really helps us to manage orders in real time, view inventory, run numerous reports, and even see basic forecasts for our items... all within their easy to use and intuitive customer portal.

Pros

There are several things that I really like about Ship Fusion. Having used many different 3PLs in the past, one of the main thing I like about Ship Fusion is their customer portal. Their portal allows me to see orders in real time, shipped orders, and any orders that may have issues. I can also run inventory reports and even see basic forecasts by SKU whether it be for D2C or wholesale. I also really respect the relationships I have with our account managers. I can tell they truly care about our account and ensuring that our orders are fulfilled and shipped efficiently and on time. Our account managers are always SUPER helpful and I know they truly care about our business and helping in anyway possible to continue to see it grow. We also have the ability to "rate shop" for delivery services to ensure we are getting the best costs while providing our customers with the best quality shipping method. Their warehouses are always super clean and their employees take wonderful care and concern with our product and fulfilling orders.

Cons

One of the things that I dislike about Ship Fusion is a very small thing. I just wish I was able to see product weight& DIMS in their customer portal. It would also be nice if the "rate shopping" option was also available for wholesale orders and not just our D2C orders (although it might be something that we can integrate and just need to talk with my account manager further about).

It may be due to an extremely poor experience with a different 3PL which paved the way for ShipFusion's already on-point functionality to shine like a supernova in the night sky (yes that may be a bit OOT), but if I had to give a median score of all aspects of the experience, I'd give a solid 9 - with the occasional dip below into the 8 range and definitely occasional 10 score.

Pros

Amanda is an amazing point of contact within the company. Provides personalized care - quick to give answers, and follows up if she isn't able to provide directly. Minimal issues with fulfillment, though obviously errors happen - but ShipFusion is quick to come up with a solution that not only is beneficial for customers (on the receiving end) but for us as a company as ShipFusion's customer.

Cons

There are a few glitches within the portal, but they're minimal enough to be forgiven.

My overall experience with ShipFusion has been incredibly positive. We have a dedicated account manager that I can reach out to at any time. He is responsive and always willing to help work through the problem with you. Our packages are well-prepared, shipped on time and on the rare occasion there is a customer issue, ShipFusion is quick to help us investigate and resolve what happened. It's like having an extended customer support team on your side! I couldn't recommend them more highly if you need a solid, reliable fulfillment partner for your business.

Pros

What I love most about ShipFusion is how intuitive and easy to use their customer interface has been to use. Not only was it powerful to begin with, there have been a few needs specific to our food product business that came up along the way. ShipFusion's development team took it upon themselves to work with us and build these functionalities into the system. This not only benefited us, but all food product customers for ShipFusion.

Cons

The two cons we faced using ShipFusion where related to lot codes and incoming inventory. The lot codes issue was addressed immediately by their development team. And the incoming inventory timeline has eased as COVID impacts have lessened in the warehouse demand. They also moved into a larger warehouse to accommodate their growing customer base, which has also alleviated this turnaround time on incoming inventory as well.

Reason for choosing Shipfusion

ShipFusion had the best offering because they understood the importance of customer management. I have had the same account manager for two years, I know him by name, he's in the warehouse everyday and he understands my products and my business. A lot of these other fulfillment companies make you feel like a number. ShipFusion demonstrates daily how much they value my and my customers business. You can't put a price on that.

Pros

Cons

Transit times can vary depending on the zone and carrier, and it sometimes takes a bit of analysis to pinpoint the cause. The good news is that Shipfusion is always willing to dig in with us during our check-ins.

We onboarded with Shipfusion coming from another 3pl who was an absolute nightmare. They got us onboarded quickly, were incredible diligent the whole way through, and then start fulfilling orders without issue. \[sensitive content hidden\], our account manager, hears from us more than she would probably like. Even though that is the case, she has been nothing short of stellar. We get quick responses that answer all of our questions. I think in this industry - you hear a lot of the same BS from 3PLs about how they want to be your partner, and how they go the extra mile, but none of that matters till you see it in practice. I can confidently say Shipfusion puts it into practice. To share an example - we had one major fulfillment issue in the 5 months we have worked with them where around ~75 orders (for context, we do around ~350 orders a day) we're incorrectly fulfilled. We caught the issue Sunday, emailed that night, and by 10 AM the next morning \[sensitive content hidden\] had responded with a detailed report of what happened, what orders we're impacted, and what they we're doing to make it right. I am a firm believer that a businesses true colors show when they are faced with righting a wrong, and I can confidently say that Shipfusion nailed that test. We have worked with 5 other domestic and international 3PLs, and I mean it when I say this team is the best of the best. They are true partners, and we are so excited to grow with them.

Pros

Attention to detail and customer service - we have been with ship fusion for nearly 5 months and they have been nothing short of legendary. Particularly I need to shout out our account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\]. She is attentive, responsive, on the ball, accountable, you name it. In addition to the level of service, their execution is impeccable. Our order error rate has never been lower, all our orders are fulfilled on time, we are billed what we expect to be billed. From top to bottom - they are amazing. I know it kind of sounds like I am hyping them up too much - but its just all true. It was the best decision we made partnering with them.

Cons

The only thing is they are a little pricey, but in my opinion, it is worth it. They treat you like a genuine partner, and you cannot put a price tag on that.

### "Why you should work with Ship Fusion"

I work with the Ship Fusion Team every day. They are some of my most trusted parents, and I know I can count on them. Ship Fusion's portal is the best 3PL WMS I've used so far. It is one of my most important tools, from reporting to projects and live data. Their WMS is incredible.

Pros

Their robust WMS and facilities are some of the best I've seen; they are not afraid of doing things outside the norm. But the best is their customer service, which is the Best in the industry.

Cons

They only have 2 locations in the US (Las Vegas and Chicago), a third location on the East Coast of the South will be key in the next few years

ShipFusion uses a great software, but we have had issues with their warehouses.

Pros

I really like the ability to hold orders back, split orders and have real time visibility of where the order is at in the flow of the warehouse.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like. I would say it is fantastic software and our only difficulty has been on the other side with the warehouse that is using it. Sometimes they batch print labels, they aren't able to include gift notes, etc. This is not the software's fault, but it does bring to light the issues we are having on the warehouse side.

Overall it was a good experience. We really appreciate support from everyone.

Pros

But I like the most is that it was easy to look up customer orders. It was easy to review inventory.

Cons

It was difficult to figure out how to get a project done that was out of the scope of what we need done. It was also difficult not knowing when product would be receiving. I know for food products we rely on Custer passports to get proper paperwork done close each month

We chose Shipfusion because we believe the company would work with us as a new vendor getting into a new space and help us grow and walk through the process

Shipfusion's software integrates well with Shopify's platform, which makes inventory management a lot easier. Customer support is also very responsive whenever we have questions.

Cons

Just a thought: it would be nice to automate some of the manual tasks involved with importing new inventory (i.e. automatically generating new SKU codes).

Shipfusion handled our product fulfillment and inventory management with professionalism and care. Before our company started working with shipfusion, we handled all of the inventory management and fulfillment ourselves. As a relatively lean startup with only 4 employees, trying to handle this on our own was time consuming and costly. Shipfusion handled every aspect of our fulfillment needs. Once orders were placed, we never had to worry about getting shipments out on time or additional costs with Canada post for rush orders - shipfusion allowed our company to focus improving our product and our business. Working with them was one of the smarter decisions we made as a company. Highly recommend!

Pros

Easy to use, great customer service, handles fulfillment from start to finish - they store our product, pack it, ship it, -easily allow for us to track it until it arrives, all at a very reasonable cost.

Cons

Nothing, excellent user experience all around.

We started using Shipfusion since July 2020 - the company helped us expand to the US market and provides a great solution for us and our customers in the US. So far, there has been no issues with regards to shipping times, fulfillment or communication.

Pros

Easy implementation, very helpful customer service team, fast & reliable fulfillment, simple yet effective platform.

Cons

\- Some misunderstanding regarding pricing and fees in the beginning - Changing prices (probably due to the nature of the industry not because of the company)

Pros

The proprietary ShipFusion software is easy to use, and really self-explanatory. It allows for simple tasks like downloading orders shipped and inventory snapshots.

Cons

The software lacks more robust features like inventory analysis, and reporting functionality. I've found that while easy to download and "orders shipped report" all analysis must be performed in Excel, independent of the portal. The chat feature, while nice, really does not give you timely responses, and typically it is faster to email your AM to receive a fast accurate response.
