Exalate gives us much more flexibility than a basic integration and helps reduce work between systems. Pros The biggest benefit for us is being able to keep Jira and Salesforce connected without forcing everyone onto the same platform. For example, when something changes on the Salesforce side, the relevant information can be passed to Jira automatically. It makes collaboration between teams much smoother. Cons There is learning curve when setting up more advanced synchronization rules, but once everything is configured, it runs smoothly. We spend less time moving information between systems and more time actually solving customer issues. Pros Exalate has made it really easy for our support and technical team to work together. We use it to connect Zendesk and Jira, so when customers report issues, the ticket can be passed to the right team without all the manual follow-up. This is especially helpful when we receive tickets about platform issues, as the process is much smoother and faster. So, our time to solve customer issues is less and we can overall seem more reliable. Cons The setup process can take sometime to get everything configured the way you want, but after that it runs reliably.
