I had some issues at the beginning with my account and payment (because my error), but they resolved them successfully. 2. They had stopped supporting the Ubuntu version (my desktop uses Linux). But they recently resumed support. Not all companies offer a Linux version. I think it's a very good sign when a company offers Linux (Ubuntu) versions, as they are more inclusive, technologically advanced, and committed to their customers (even though Linux isn't mainstream). 3. They offers customer service in several languages. I am especially happy and grateful to \[sensitive content hidden\], who, along with the Kotobee team, took charge of resolving the issues. He is friendly, very professional, and genuinely interested in helping his clients. I am not going anywhere, Kotobee Author is my reliable work tool. Thank you so much Kotobee team. Pros I am an adult educator, creator of Moodle courses, LMS and language learning materials (including SCORM), ebook editor (6K plus ebooks published), and administrator of educational infoproduct websites. Kotobee Author is the best and most complete technological tool I have ever used in my life. It is a versatile and technologically advanced tool that is constantly improving its technical capabilities. An all-in-one tool for creating very smart and impressive books for end consumers, and easy and powerful to use for creators. I love they have YouTube tutorials and updated documentation. Cons Not yet. It would be nice to have possibility to add more devices. Sometimes I am not working with my desktop, and I want to use my laptop or cellphone. Not only that, I am able to monetize them for classes I teach. I've been selling ebooks for about 6 weeks. By the end of next week, I will have sold almost 5k worth of books. Pros The learning curve is pretty easy. It's got a lot of options, so figuring them out may be a challenge. But the support team is simply amazing. Every time I could not figure something out, they were there to help. I can't praise the support team enough. Cons Creating a hosted library is a bit expensive. So once I found Kotobee, I was blown away. What's more, I am way more impressed now that I was when I first signed up. It is capable of doing so many incredible things to fit the needs of our upcoming library. The most amazing part of this whole process has been the customer service aspect. Nadeen Amr is possibly the best customer service rep for a company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She answers every question I have had (and I have had a lot of them)! She answers thoroughly and leaves no questions unanswered. For months we have been working on a project and she is always there for us when we need help or have more questions. I have had over 5 Zoom calls with her to discuss, and get in-depth with some product features. She is so helpful and always has an amazing attitude. I was able to format my epub easily...until I exported it. None of the exports look like the preview nor are they compliant with the latest epub 3 software. Pros I liked that Kotobee has a lot of options and customization as well as the ability to edit the epub html and add custom css. Cons I haven't yet gotten an epub export that will function on popular platforms. I've been trying to get responses from tech support for three weeks, and they have not done anything to help me with the issues. It's a buggy piece of software that constantly generates error messages in the html code.
