### "Improving expenses process"

MyExpenses helped me to organize the expenses claims. It massively increased the reliability of our process. The expenses process became non-stress for both user and admin.

Pros

Features that really helped us to organize our expenses: - Double level of expenses approval; - Easy to set rules for expenses; - Fantastic system of notifications for every step of the process; - How the reports are split allowing the approved expenses to move forward while the denied ones return to the user for adjustment or removal; - How easy it is to create mileage claims;

Cons

\- Could have a report builder functionality instead of so many fixed reports; - Not be able to approve multiple claims in one-go.

Overall, my experience with MyExpenses has been brilliant, I've rarely had a problem go unsolved and I would recommend this to any company - regardless of size!

Pros

The best thing about this software is the layout of the website, it is so practical and easy to use. all sections are clearly indicated, expenses are simple to locate and reconcile, claims are simple and straightforward to create. The helpdesk is amazing! always really efficient in replying to queries and very knowledgeable with the system and its multiple functions.

Cons

One improvement I would suggest would be the description and organisation of the reports, as there are so many for different views and levels it can sometimes get a bit overwhelming and difficult to look for something specific.

Cons

improve multiple claims functionality. Improve claims reason drop down list, to many options, often cant scroll all thew way to the bottom

The list of expense "categories" is customised for each company, if you are an admin please contact us and we can make changes such as removing some categories or reducing what shows for each user. Otherwise please make your finance team aware and they can make the changes for you. We will log any other suggestions for improvement.

I think the help desk team are fantastic (especially representative) and are always quick to respond with helpful guidance. I find the system really easy to use and see it from all aspects (admin - uploading CC statements, setting up users/cards, updating HMRC AFR's etc. and user - assisting with claim problems, helping employees process claims etc.)

Pros

Once you are familiar with the system, the functionality is rather simple & easy to use. I also like the fact we can drill out the information we need to plug into our accounts system to reduce the amount of manual work we have to do.

Cons

From a first glance/use, it can seem quite long winded and confusing.

Any help required with installation and creation of fields was handled very quickly, excellent customer service when questions asked.

Pros

very easy to integrate into our system, creating profiles, ledger codes & cost centers etc are very simple to create. The mobile app is very good

Cons

Creating a new user is a two stage process (although very easy), this could be simplified.

before MyExpenses, we were using paper claim forms for claiming expenses, this was very time consuming each month. But with MEO the onus is on the employee and their manager to make sure the claims are correct and in on time, they cn no longer blame the postman for claims not reaching us!

Pros

Easy to use Credit card reconciliation works really well for our business

Cons

Passwords are only valid for 1 hour, sometimes this is causing us to reset passwords multiple times

good workflows for approval, and fast process for reclaim expenses and credit card reconciliations

Pros

easy is storing receipts and creating a claim receipt stash is unique and very easy to store and create claims . Clearly see what you claim is up to and the reporting tools are great.

Cons

Nothing the software is easy to use and the approval and finance interfaces are well thought out.

Overall it is simple to use and gives a useful audit trail and numerous reporting options. The helpdesk are very helpful

Pros

The connectivity between the app and online platform is very useful. Users can choose which they use and work in various different ways to suit their working life. The administrator function giving the option to take over a users accounts is very useful when there is an issue to explain or resolve

Cons

some suggestions for improvements specific to our own organisation can take time to be implemented or are not possible

Easily allows me to do my expenses!

Pros

The best feature is the combined app and website design. The ability to upload receipts from the app and they automatically come up on my expense claims on the website makes it quick and easy to reconcile expenses

Cons

It is not clear how to use all the nctions, there seems to be a lot of buttons and options but i cant work out what they do. Also after reconciling expenses you have to go back in and submit from drafts which takes longer.

My overall experience has been positive.

Pros

It was very quick to pick up when I first started with the company and didnt require a lot of training. The user experience is smooth and the interface is easy to navigate.

Cons

Sometimes it freezes when you try and submit your expenses but will eventually sort itself out. I have lost my entries once or twice but other than that it has been fine.

Does what it says on the tin

Pros

Generallly a quick and easy tool to poces expenses

Cons

I regulalry submit invoices from a few other countries e.g. Ireland, the ability to add them to a combobox or similar rather than having to use the search country wizard every time would speed uop submission (and make me happy)

Overall I'm really happy with using the software. It's pretty user friendly and allows you to easily change things and add more information as required.

Pros

I like that it's pretty intuitive and also has plenty of flexibility to make specific changes

Cons

Being a delegate for someone can sometimes make things confusing. Ideally I'd like for monthly expense claims to all go under one submission but that can be difficult when working alongside someone else.

We are very happy with the system and have been able to roll it out across all of our staff now and wish we had done it earlier.

Pros

I like the ease at which I can do my expense claims and I like how user friendly the package is. If you need assistance there is support available and nothing is too much trouble.

Cons

The App could be better, I prefer to use the desktop for my expense claims and only really use the app for uploading receipts.

I think it should get rid of old receipts automatically if they haven't been allocated with in a certain time period.

Not much really, I find it quite hard to fault. I think it could be easier to sum it, sometimes it’s easy to leave something in drafts

Pros

I really like the function where you can email a receipt image and it automatically uploads onto my MyExpenses account. I do this straight away once I have the receipt and it means I don't have to spend ages trying to find bits of receipt each month.
