Also, its capacity of creating reports and providing quantitative results is key to my activity. Cons It needs to figure out how to get paywalled media content, it is highly important. Algo, programming can become an issue, it has a long learning process to set up all parameters. My account manager is responsive, took the time to understand my business and needs, and is always pushing things my way. We continually have brainstorming sessions where they walk through features, but more importantly, how I can implement them to achieve my goals. The product is straightforward and packs a lot of punch. I am sure I am only scraping the surface on what it can do. Their ability to train the AI on your company, competitors or prospects is incredibly useful! Again, no complex Boolean strings and less chaff in the coverage results! Pros Simple and straightforward. I loved TrendKite and was going to go down that route but the AI capabilities to be able to cut through the noise easier with no long Boolean strings (I had a growing document with Boolean strings to cut through the noise for TK). Cons Definitely would LOVE to be able to drill down into coverage by individual journalist to be able to use data to better analyze who covers a certain topic or competitor. I've used this feature in another platform which helped prioritize outreach based on facts not just your gut or a bio. Pros We didn't specify our media monitoring properly. Signal AI didn't work for us but might for others. Cons A little 'busy' but otherwise functional. Pros Excellent customer service that is available at all times and that follows up. Its ability to produce reports and deliver numerical findings is also essential to my activity. Signal is simple for me to utilise. I enjoy the format and the reports that are generated as a result. Cons Nothing as of yet; I haven't encountered any features I don't like. Their customer support team is outstanding and always quickly helps with any problems we encounter. Cons Sometimes there are publications that we need to track for clients that aren't in Signal, but all we have to do is tell our CSM and they are usually added to the database. The staff all seem really engaged and genuinely happy to help. Pros Quick to install and understand. I was able to use it from day one. Cons Nothing as yet - not come across any features I am not happy with. Only criticism if at all, is the ability to only hold 18 months worth of coverage. Pros The speed of search is unlike previous tools utilised by the team. Particularly impressed with being able to tweak searches almost instantaneously to match new parameters. Cons As always intergration does take time. Would like to see an easier way to combine over 10 searches for brands that have multiple products/sub brands. Pros Signal's reach and ability to flag up coverage is impressive. You can stay very simple or be more complex with the filters you set for your searches. The bulletin feature is very helpful to stay on top of coverage as it comes out. Cons It is not perfect, but what is? Certain relevant articles will be missed and certain irrelevant articles will be flagged. But considering Signal is scouring the whole internet, I'd say we can cut it some slack.
