Pros: Multi-user functionality. As a company we can send it out to the field for our superintendents to use as needed for communication.

Overall: Currently we see much of the program as a benefit. Some specifics are the ability to turn estimates into schedules so we can send to the field with notes to our superintendents.

Pros: All in one solution for everything you need to run a successful construction company. Estimates, lead tracking, scheduling, you name it, it's in there or on its way to being implemented.

Cons: Still in development. App needs work still. Can't wait for everything to be fully functional. System makes you have an email address for every contact which is not the case for some if my clients.

Cons: It can be a lot to pick up to new users.
It can get away from you quickly if you do not stay on top of it.

I think overall the software is pretty user friendly and easy on the eyes.

Pros: I like that you can keep track of what everyone is doing with out having to physically check on them at the job site.

Cons: The calendar could use some updates. A color legend would be nice so you could tell what schedule is associated with what project with out having to guess from the drop down screen. Also when you click into the scheduled task such as "clean up" you can not see what the project associated is either.

Automatically sending a Game Plan if anyone's tasks are changed before the game plan 'renewal' date would be helpful as well instead of having to change the settings to a daily game plan.

Pros: Every software has its compromises, but for me Construction line has the least.
The most important consideration for me is ease of use and Construction Online by far exceeds other PM systems I've used (Buildertrend, Co-construct, Corecon).

Cons: The only weakness they had was direct cost reporting which has now been addressed with a comprehensive QB integration.

Overall: Makes life easy.

Pros: I am a new user of this kind of software. A few months ago I did not even know that something like this existed. It has opened a whole new world for me and I am blown away by what this software can do. We demo'ed a few competing products before making a choice and it was the wide range of features at the most competitive price that sold us on ConstructionOnline. I especially like the messaging feature which is basically an email system dedicated to one specific project.

Cons: There is nothing I really dislike about ConstructionOnline, there are just some features I do not use as they do not meet my needs as a commercial general contractor. For example, I do not use Estimating and Change Orders as they seem to be less robust than some of the other software products. These features seem to be geared more towards the residential market. However, I realize it is hard to be everything for everyone.

A feature, I think, that would be nice would be the ability to sign documents electronically. Maybe one can do it through Redline; if so, I have not been able to figure it out yet.

As a general contractor one has to collect submittal packages from vendors and subcontractors, review them, and then attach a separate sheet to the package, that contains your stamp of approval/comments/signature on it, before you forward the submittal package on to the architect/engineer for review. On this submittal sheet there is space for the different reviewers to add their stamps as well. It would be nice if ConstructionOnline could generate this submittal sheet that you can attach to submittal packages sent to you. Currently, I generate the submittal sheet in another project management program, print it, place my stamp on it, sign it, scan it back into my computer, upload it to a pdf editor, add it to the submittal package file, and then upload the combined file to ConstructionOnline. It would be nice if you could do it all in ConstructionOnline.

Overall: Saves time. Makes it easy to find stuff. Helps you stay organized. Keeps subs, vendors, owners, architects, vendors all on the same page.

One of the customer rep was very helpful in helping me print my Punchlist.

Pros: The program is convenient by keeping all projects aligned with a particular job in one spot. From prospect to closing... it's all there.

Cons: I start the day around 7:30 am EST most days. The owner of the company starts even earlier. If I have concerns or issues before 10 AM, I must wait until customer service is in the office. Today I needed to pull up a punchlist at 7:45 and had a message of "no criteria matching request" (or something similar). The issue was handled within a couple minutes of talking with the customer rep. The fact I had to wait over two hour to call puts a huge deficit on the flow of my day. Perhaps adding an East Coast call center or adding a couple extra hours on the start of the day would benefit customers like myself.

It has been good so far but have really not done much other than setting up business and estimating.

Pros: The estimating, scheduling, and QuickBooks integration working together. Also, the client portal will be helpful. They have been very helpful in trying to help us get the software integrated into our business.

Cons: The online estimating piece is missing a lot of features that I was accustomed to on the desktop version - such as: adding tax to materials or all materials in a category (this is too much of a manual process in online version and doesn't work at all on the 5-column estimate), there is no line to qualify your material quantities (ie. LF, SF, EA, per hour, etc.), the subcategories need to be able to break down further similar to the desktop version. It would also be helpful to have some estimate templates available to use for different applications instead of having to build your own. There needs to be a way to incorporate optional pricing into/or back out of the estimate. Would be helpful to be able to attach more than one estimate to a particular project.

Pros: some of the bells and whistles

Cons: Wish there were templates of different types of projects from low end to luxury, short schedules to very detailed to inexpensive rehabs to large new builds. Would be helpful and would save significant time.

We are excited to put gameplan into action, but it seems it needs some work first

Pros: If GamePlan works as it should, this could almost turn our operations into a self driving car. The increased efficiency and convenience we expect to get out of this should have a direct impact on our bottom line, as well as our ability to leave our clients satisfied

Cons: The OnSite App seems to need work before we can even use this. The language used in the app is confusing as well as the functionality. This makes the likelihood of proper use by our guys in the field highly unlikely, which could be worse than if we don't use GamePlan at all. It needs to be clear to the user that they just "Completed" the task. Currently, it says "Dismiss Event," which sounds more like you are ignoring the task. Additionally, you need a submit button, complete task button, or some type of clear confirmation that lets the OnSite User know, for sure, that they have just completed the task in the system. Then, the main page of the app needs to reflect that the task was completed. Additionally, I do not see anything actually being completed in construction online from the operations manager end of things. That takes most of the benefits of the software away. I tested this by creating a fake user account and assigning tasks to myself from construction online. I couldn't tell what I was doing when I was "Dismissing" event because I couldn't tell if it has updated the app. Then when I went into construction online, it did not show that anything of the tasks were completed. Again, we can't wait to get GamePlan implemented in the business, but I think we need some kinks worked out before we put it into place.

Overall: Our business uses it for scheduling, but we are looking forward to using the GamePlan function when it is ready

UDA Construction online is a nice online tool that has a very easy to use interface.

Pros: When you login to UDA Construstion Online it has a very easy to use interface that you can scroll through and easily organize your projects.

Cons: Unfortunately when the beta version for editing your documents was released you are unable to save a template and are forced to edit each document every single time you make one.

Overall: Not being able to edit document templates makes this Online software a nice tool but not one in which you can customize to make your companies own.

Great Customer Service, but there are still some kinks in the software.

Comments: Ryan is great! I like having one account person for tech stuff!

Pros: Lead Tracking and syncing with calendar. My boss also likes other features but those are the main ones I work with.

Cons: Sometimes it doesn't always work for various reasons like using wrong browser or can't have the same contact for two different leads.

Significant ease of use and straight forward organization of Construction Online.

Pros: Constantly updating and evolving with more features. Easy to acclimate new users to features specifically used for their job duties. It is not an all or nothing software. We can limit users to features that will increase their productivity and not inundate nor confuse them with features that are not beneficial to their work flow.

Cons: Sometimes big time on web server don't know if it is due to # of users or or amount of information contained in our company files. Wish the web server could process the information faster when imputing data.

Overall: UDA is a one stop shop for all my project management needs. I use UDA and Microsoft Outlook as my main two software tools on a daily basis.

Constantly improving. Best tool we are using in our commercial GC business.

Pros: Red Line Plan Room, RFI's, Submittals. Pretty much all of the commercial tools are invaluable to me.
I stand by ease of navigation as well.

Cons: The mobile apps seem a little inconsistent. Wish they were all the same format which would help me teach our field users

Overall: The ease of collaboration in the fast paced commercial world I work in sums it up best

Pros: The online scheduling and Game plan features allows me to do more with less people. We are also using the client portal to keep our clients informed.

Cons: I realize this is a new feature and still in Beta but would like to see increased load speeds on Red line plan room.

Overall: More productive and organized allows me time in the field to deal with issues instead of in my office making phone calls.

Pros: The best part about the software is the ability to access some of the Construction Suite files from a mobile platform. I also think the team/client link functions will be useful as we continue to use it.

Cons: I have had some difficulty with the COL app kicking me off due to invalid credentials. I also think it is difficult to have to log into the app every time you open it.

Pros: Integration with other programs is a great asset. Also, other tools such as the scheduling, RFIs, and Redline are a great tool as well.

Cons: Need C.O.D.A. to be introduced to hopefully fulfill the final missing pieces of integration for accounting and contracts.

Pros: The fact that the software is so user-friendly and that it is easy to find answers with all of the assistance and aid within the software

Cons: A big factor in purchasing the software is the new Desktop Assistant and I hope that the update is released soon.

Overall: A better form of communication not just between the office but also between the teams and clients, and a source where all of our project data can be stored securely and easily accessed from anywhere.

Pros: Helps with Management of the projects and with Billing as the Application for payment is commonly used in the industry and by many of our clients. The customer Service is easily the best part of their service. Their Customer Service is the true value.

Cons: They are improving all the time, but Integration with Google & MS products, and integration with Quickbooks. Could use improvement. Biggest Con is a con with all the software in this category of the industry. Limited Integration with AutoCad for the Estimating process.

Overall: helps with Management of projects and Billing for projects.

Comments: Good software. A little pricey in my opinion. Does have a lot to it that you can use if someone really wanted to use all the functions and features. But the customer service almost makes it worth it all. Caroline Prater really keeps me staying with the software when I have wanted to leave this software in the past. Because of the customer service it makes me stay. :)

Pros: Customer Service is always there to help. Carolina Prater is amazing and always promptly answers my questions or issues I may have.

Cons: The app has a lot to be desired. It is having issues at least once a month I get my job supers coming into office telling me something won't work.

Pros: I love the availability of the tech support! The documents are very professional and lend a consistent look to our presentation from proposal to final invoice

Cons: The fact that there is no manual for desktop references and therefore one has to contact tech support for every event

Overall: a single program to store all documents concerning the year on all projects

Pros: I like the fact that we can set up with our employees and give them certain restrictions as they don't need to have access to everything.

Cons: Hard to get around sometimes in the app. You need to learn the software and have everything setup from the very beginning to make it easier to get through the files and team and client link.

Overall: Everything you need to manage a job is in place with this software

Pros: The pros to owning this software is having the file management system and file sharing along with controlling what each person is able to see or operate

Cons: We haven't really had any major problems there is a small learning curve only do to there are several ways to do each task people have different preferences

Pros: Online seems more user friendly, more adaptable to our needs. Online also feels easier to navigate.

Cons: The function of needing to add specific content into Suite and Online separately so that they sync is cumbersome. Would be nice to have all features in one software, preferably Online. Will that be happening anytime soon?

Overall: The benefits of having all of our jobs/projects in one location is great, to be able to track and run reports as needed is helpful.

The absolute best construction management program paired with phenomenal customer service.

Pros: I love the detail and range allowed for each job that you put into the system. Construction jobs can be very complicated and you have allowed for that in the tracking.

Cons: I had a few glitches getting started, but Customer Service has been fantastic. There were a couple of issues that I ran into that were not addressed in the Help section (duplicate User IDs for example).

Overall: We were able to move from a very large Excel spreadsheet to a total-tracking system just by keying our data into the software - very cool

Katy taught me how to update contacts to allow for punchlist viewing by our team members.

Pros: I enjoy the cross platform functionality. It's so great to be able to access our files from any location, either online or from our servers in the office. This makes a big difference as our team (and project list) continues to grow - we can allow viewing of select items/lists and we don't need to force anyone to use Mac or Windows to work within UDA. Far surpassing any software features, though, the fact that your IT staff is so prompt to respond and so helpful launches this software into one of my favorites I've ever worked with. All software has issues - it's how you respond and deal with those issues that differentiate you from the rest and I thank you for it. Now if you can just have some IT available until 5pm West Coast time (where I am) my dreams would really come true. Thank you to Katy and all the other fabulously helpful people I've interacted with!

Cons: A trifling issue, but since you asked - when I add documents from our computer to the Project Files for a job, it's pretty wonky and time consuming. If I drag an item to the file list, instead of showing it was added - the file list scrolls back to the top so I have to scroll back down to see if it was even added - which it usually wasn't. This happens each time. This means I've taken to adding each document twice to ensure it imports so I don't need to scroll down to check if it's there or not. It would be MUCH nicer if the file list stayed put while I added files so I could see where - and that they were added to the list. Sometimes UDA lets me add mutliple documents and adds a 1 or 2 after each multiple - and sometimes it warns me that it already has that doc in the file. If this warning could pop up every time, I wouldn't need to then re-scroll down to the files I just added and delete duplicates. Also - just like when I add files, when I delete a duplicate the file list automatically scrolls back up to the top so I have to manually go back down to where I was to delete the next duplicate.

Overall: So many! Help with organizing - help with scheduling - help with wrangling everything!!! Gotta get back to work.

Pros: I actually have no idea what I like most because I am still so new to it. I like the idea that it communicates with construction suite and that it can potentially replace another software solution we are currently using. I am drawn to the idea of one software solution for multiple aspects of our work.

Cons: the price. I am continually surprised at how expensive these subscriptions are. I also like to have really comprehensive training options, including a manual, for software that I am using and UDA (construction suite and construction online) does not provide good version specific manuals.

Overall: not many yet but i am still learning

This products has the potential of being one of the contractor most valuable tools.

Pros: There is a value in communication and instant data upload with our Customers and Sub's.
The ability to instantly upload pictures, punch list, RFI, client selection and change orders or adjusting architectural drawings on the fly is a valuable tool and these are but a few of the tools we use please keep improving the software.

Cons: There are a lot of software limitation such as the search for contacts and the ability to set categories and sub categories. The ability to rotate the plans once they are in the plan room.
The ability for some of the apps to connect properly with the online software such as time tracking or the use of plan room on an iPad or other tablet which has a lot of glitch's and does not work fluently.

Easier to navigate and better financial reports than BuildStar, but estimating is takes longer.

Overall: We had fraud on our account so our card was blocked and our account suspended. We called our rep and gave her our new card number and she put us back in business. I love your CS Reps they kick butt.

Pros: The range of features, cost database/estimating software, project management capabilities

Cons: The dual nature of ConstructionOnline and ConstructionSuite. Their integration is clunky and frustrating. There are a lot of features that seem like good ideas, but are only half baked, as of yet. The Google Calendar integration and its inability to work only one direction is one of these. Keeping track of what syncs automatically or manually between Suite and Online is frustrating too.

Overall: There are a load of great features that one day will make this software a pleasure to use. ConstructionSuite and ConstructionOnline are separately great products, but their interaction is clunky and leaves something to be desired. For all of the benefits that each provides, it is a chore to keep track of what tasks can be accomplished in each piece of software. With the great staff, support, and developers behind the product, I hope that one day this will be a much more smooth user experience. There is so much that it has to offer, but it still needs a fair amount of development before it is seamless. As a company, we will continue to use the software for the powerhouse that it is, and anxiously await updates.

Additionally, the support staff has been a pleasure to work with, and their knowledge has helped us to take advantage of the software.

Comments: Been working with UDA since 2006 and had always had great experience with your staff. That is why I have gone and invested in the "On-Line" site portal and have been thoroughly impressed with the friendly support we have received as a company & individually.

Comments: As always, I had a great experience. The staff at UDA are always very helpful and courteous when I call. My experience today with our rep, who recognized my voice and remembered me from our last conversation was SUPER!!!! With all of the customers that UDA has, how she remembered me......I don't know....but it was a SPECIAL feeling knowing that she did. In the past, I've received support from other reps as well....and he too has always provided me with great support.

I believe this is great product and am excited learning!

Comments: I have a small construction company in Hawaii, my wife did all of the "heavy lifting" with UDA and was always on top of how things worked. I have been forced into double duty covering all aspects UDA and Quick books our accounting program. It is such a relief to know that I can pick up the phone and get the answers to my questions or even better have the UDA tech. log on to my computer and help me find my way. The representative did not hesitate to sign on and get me up and running.

Pros: Online help and constantly updating the program.

Cons: Due to my location (Hawaii) the hours of operation are a bit of a challenge especially when Daylight savings time is in effect.

Comments: We started using this software as a company over a year ago. As a remodeling company, it was one of the best investments we've made! Our communication process has become more streamlined and everyone in the company knows where any files, photos, docs are located now. It saves phone calls from the field to the office personnel and makes everyone's day a little more "hassle free." The first year was a learning curve, but now it's become an essential that we couldn't do without. They're also continuing to update the software apps to make them more user-friendly.

Pros: All our info inside a single software

Cons: The cons I had earlier, especially the photo app were recently fixed!

Recommendations to other buyers: Give your company time to adapt to the software. Once the team begins to benefit from using it, they won't want to do without.

Comments: We purchased this product to help us estimate and manage our residential field activities. We looked at several products, test drove a few and Construction Suite was hands down the best for end to end estimating and performance measurement. Not only is the product easy to use, but the sales, customer support and technical support staff are awesome. Everyone is knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Wait times to speak with a representative are minimal and no matter who answers the phone they either help you right away or get you to the right resource very quickly. No need to leave a message and have someone call you back.

Pros: Seamless integration between the office and staff in the field. With punch lists, it's easy to check on the daily progress of our crews to keep them on time and on budget. The absolute best QuickBooks integration. We have several products that interact with our QuickBooks accounting software but none works as seamlessly as Construction Suite.

Cons: We really struggle to find things that we don't like.

Recommendations to other buyers: Talk to the UDA Staff. They're honest and want to build true win win relationships. All my reps have all been fantastic.

Comments: The first recommendation was co-construct but at at price a month wasnt in my budget. I was looking for something to clean up my business. I currently use xactimate for estimating and import excel sheets into UDA and our clients love it. The selection tool saves a bunch of time and is so easy to track, the change orders are awesome and you dont miss small changes which im starting to see better percentages. However i wont recommend it to any compettitors in my area haha. Pays for itself and the scheduling is fantastic. I actually have real timelines for clients that we actually meet. Seriously its awesome.

Pros: Everything, schedule Change orders sketch overlay. Client selections

Cons: No time cards at the present time

Comments: My experience is for the most part a good one. It did take us a while to get comfortable with the product. Now that all the staff are using it, I can see how useful it truly is.

Cons: The only thing I would like to see get fixed is to see an overall Report for every project, at a high level. Especially when it comes to scheduling. With respect to the Gantt Chart, if we can see everyone's projects on a timeline, we can see where we need to allocate more resources.

Comments: We gave this a try for a few months as we were in the process of figuring out best software for our business. We liked it's platform and useability, but weren't sold on the app like nature of the product. Still stuck in the world of CPU based software. That's to no fault of the program-- probably just our old-school habits.

Pros: Very aesthetically pleasing platform, comprehensive utilities, and good accessibility from everywhere through internet based program

Cons: Price was a bit painful, and the interface seemed like it was built for a very large market-- I'm looking for something a little more tailored to me and my context.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely give it a try in your search for software options. It didn't work for us, but might be a perfect fit for someone a little more hip of mind than us :)

Pros: Very user friendly. Icons easy to understand.

Cons: I have not even scrapped the surface of what this program can do.

Recommendations to other buyers: If someone is starting a fresh QuickBooks data base - it would be easier to sync contacts. If different people are imputing data in both UDA and QB at the same time it may get a little messy to combine an older QB database.

Comments: So far this product has helped my remolding company. It is a pretty complex software and is more than I need, but is a good fit to grow into. You really have to figure out what aspect is most important to your needs and just start with that. If you try and learn the whole software capabilities, one would be overwhelmed. I have had this software for 7 months now and use it everyday, and still just am hitting the basics.

Pros: customization.

Cons: complexity

Recommendations to other buyers: Be prepared to spend a lot of time learning how to use this software, if you want to gain all the attributes of it. You could easily spend an hour a night for 6 months, until you start to get a handle on it.

Comments: I use the project files and gallery all the time for various projects. I really like being able to print a report so I have a hard copy.

Pros: Being able to access this program from pretty much anywhere.

Cons: One thing I don't like is once something has been uploaded for example photos, they aren't easily downloaded. You can't download a group of pictures, it has to be done individually which can take a while.

Comments: SNR Contractors & Associates started in 2009 as a family run business with 3-4 people. Today we have over 120 people working for or with us in one capacity or another. Our business has doubled each year for the last 4 years. Construction online has been incredibly helpful in keeping our Owner and PM's updated on daily activities and in conjunction with our Foundation accounting program will give us the incite to grow even more in the coming years.

Pros: Easy to use and update. Expandable. You can use only what you want or practice with the newer options until you are sure you want to use them.

Cons: Occasional outages through the Construction Online sometimes slow down the input and receipt of information. No formal training for mobile users.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ask yourself what it is you want out of the program. If it's just logging and calendaring or the whole project management enchilada, Construction Online has it all. And if it doesn't, just ask them about an update. In most cases it's coming up in a new version soon.

Comments: A very organized manner of keeping job information and history logged and accessible. When logging on to the Construction Online version of UDA from another location it seems a little difficult and messy to navigate. I have no issues using or navigating the office/main UDA program. It is a bit frustrating that there are 2 separate programs to have to maintain in order to completely utilize the program. It just seems to be more work than what it should have to be.

Pros: Ability to access and utilize job information from any location.

Pros: The thing that I most like about UDA Construction Online is the QuickBooks compatibility.

Cons: The thing that I least like about UDA Construction Online is the multi-user limitations. Newworking UDA is not as streamlined and easy as what it could be.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ask others who have the software and are using it what they like/ don't like about the software. How has the software helped streamline the flow of estimating, or has it been useful in that way?

Pros: I like the estimating & communications aspect of this software. This is a great communication tool from the office to the field, and the field to office and client! The estimating program has also helped us to control our costs on projects, and we are seeing more profit with more volume now versus more volume with less profit. OUr schedule is also a lot easier to stay on top of, and it has helped us to know where we are at with things with the awesome Gant chart scheduling program! I have a lot less stress now than what I did before we started using this program, as I was still doing all estimating and scheduling on paper. I have a lot less stress in my life this year!!

Cons: The photos should be a little easier to upload from the Ipad in the field.

Recommendations to other buyers: I think you need to be comfortable with the program you choose....I like the way that UDA works with Quikbooks, it even has a similar layout to Quikbooks so its not hard to figure out how to navigate the program.

Pros: You Talk to English Speaking and knowledgeable people I have everything in one spot Clients actually like it

Cons: I haven't figured it out completely yet I have had the program for about 6-7 years Really the only complaint is the email problems with certain companies server

Recommendations to other buyers: it is well the money and I use it communicate with my foreman, my people and client to stop problem of people saying I didn't get that

Pros: Very easy to use and also our clients and architects feel it improves project communication

Cons: The lack of reports, I would like to see more printable reports

Pros: I like the simplicity of the software. The newest features that allow for creations of submittals is very helpful as well, I can manage multiple facets of a project through one system which is very convenient. The operations are very simple to understand and use. It has been very helpful with keeping records of ongoing work as well as the creation of punch list work. I like that subcontractors information can be centralized as to make notifying/distributing information much easier.

Cons: I have been unable to find project logs from previous projects, when i look for work logs created in the past months, the entry has been recorded but I cannot open or view the details of the log created for that day.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for software program that is very easy to understand and use, look no further. UDA is great for managing all construction activities in and out of the field.

Pros: I like the scheduling the best. Breaking down the order everything happens is very important in planning a project. I will be using the punch list feature a great deal, I like how it is shared and other people can cross off items from the list.

Cons: It is a bit clunky. What I mean by that is difficult to navigate, specifically the scheduling. When I click on Projects & Files and choose the project I want to work on, I would like to see a snapshot of the schedule right there, or at least a link to it. Instead I have to go back to the bar on the left side and click scheduling. I may be missing something here. Also, when I am typing in dates, percent completed, and predecessors I wish I could use tab and enter or the arrow keys to move around the spreadsheet. I have to click on every single box that I need. Also when I try to resize the Gantt view vs the list view so I can see the predecessors and the Gantt, my mouse always disappears. It will still click but I am just kind of guessing.

Recommendations to other buyers: I live and die by my schedule. If you could add notes to it that would be cool. You could give more details on what is remaining or if something was missed and needs to be revisited.

Cons: Poor screen layout, poor interaction with construction online, project notices go out under ┬┐constructiononline.com┬┐ address and goes directly into many client/venders junk mail and is not seen.

Pros: Construction Online has greatly improve our communication among all team players. Customers, Architects and Vendors. Also the Change Order process is quick and efficient Customer Service is always excellent. Quick response from friendly staff members who really know the product.

Cons: As a commercial contractor I would like to see documents more in line with Industry Standard Commercial Documents. I Really don't have any issues with the Vendor, Always very Helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: DO your Homework, and if at all possible try to use the software for a while before purchasing. I've been through 3 softwares prior to this and each one promised the world and never delivered. UDA is at least Honest and does deliver what it claims to. It's not perfect but right now nothing is.

Pros: The ability to send and share files, especially large plans and specifications without leaving your desk is measurable.

Cons: Appears to run slow at times and the ability to archiving and unarchiving as been as issue on many occasions.

Pros: Efficiently organizes estimates & proposals along with change orders, pictures and other project documentation....allows communication of job information & documents with out of state customers & key company personnel via internet......this software is a good value....

Cons: While periodic updates are overall, generally improvements to the program, sometimes specific functions that once worked well become more complicated or "clunky"

Pros: The UDA Program has not only made it a one stop organizer as well as a perfect way to keep all involved on the same page just by a click of a button.

Cons: At this time I have not found a down side to the program.

Pros: great customer service. fairly awesome idea and execution.

Cons: Integration between Uda and Col is less than ideal.

Recommendations to other buyers: tutorials, tutorials, tutorials. The more experienced you are with other construction software the easier it will be to use. If it's your first go round it's a little difficult at first.

Pros: Good for generating and tracking estimates, job costs /WIP , production and integration with Quick Books

Cons: needs expanded CRM capabilities needs expand E-mail - CRM integration needs more e-mail customization options Not to user friendly and needs a very large learning curve to get the most value out of it.

Pros: Construction online has allowed our project mangers direct control over scheduling which has had a huge and positive impact on the production department. Change orders are sent and received at a click of a button and the job log feature keeps my finger on the pulse of every project.

Cons: I do not like that the construction online is separate from construction suite and that transfer of information is not automatic. This often has created difficulties in ensuring most recent and relative information is available to the office staff. Our field staff also have had difficulties with the UDA online apps, they seem to seize from time to time.

Recommendations to other buyers: I recommend the software in conjunction with Construction Suite. There is huge upside to the program as a whole but do be prepared to learn the program piece by piece. There are many functions which all add value to your company but take time to implement.

Pros: The ease of use and accessibility from anywhere with an internet connection. The vendor is easily accessible by phone to clarify any issues. I would like a better live chat option.

Cons: Glitches that cause information loss, however with a phone call we usually recover it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that the accounting is appropriate for the work that you are doing. Without the appropriate feedback on profit and loss versus original estimate software can be useless.

Pros: Having all documents, processes and communication in ONE place. I think UDA has thought it through and believe it's a great tool for my company. I also think having it as a resource for our clients will give us an edge in the industry.

Cons: It's taking quite a bit of time to get things entered into the program so that it will benefit our company on future projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that you have some time set aside to learn the software and enter your company's data in.

Pros: I like how much is available to the user. The idea of having one place for everyone involved on a project to check-in and stay informed is wonderful. I totally get it and look forward to getting projects up and running for our company. And the staff is great and patient when we need a little guidance.

Cons: The startup process. Part of that is on our end and how we use the product. But it's been really hard to wrap our hands and minds around what all is available and how to use it to benefit business.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure your needs match the product. UDA has so many resources available. Just take your time and learn about it all. The training videos are a great resource for getting started.
