### "Briostack, a vast improvement over our old software!"

The overall experience has been great! The software is so much better than our old software. It has the capability to text and email customers easily. Storing documents in the customer accounts is wonderful. The communication records are great. We can easily see how & when attempts were made to contact a customer. The customer support has been exceptional. The Data Conversion Team, \[sensitive content hidden\] went above and beyond my expectations to get us up and running on Briostack. The continuing assistance from \[sensitive content hidden\] has also been perfect.

Pros

I like being able to access information in the database easily. I like to be able to filter & sort information to find a specific invoice or check #, etc. I'm still learning ways to access the information, but if the information is in Briostack there is a way to run a report to find it.

Cons

There is a lot of "white space" on the Details tab. When setting up a new customer or new service, there is a lot of unused space on the screen which causes a lot of scrolling up & down to either enter or see the information after it has been saved. For Ex. the space for Company Name goes from under the "Summary" tab to the "Billing" tab at the top. I don't know how many spaces it is, but it's a lot. That being said, I'd rather have too much "white space" as too little. I don't like a crowded screen, but I think a happy medium could be reached. Also, when posting payments the curser goes from the payment method down to the check # then back up to the $ amount. I would think you could put all three on one line and move straight across.

I would recommend Briostack. I feel there is good value for my money. I do wish that they had group pricing for "seats", but everybody does the model works for them. I find it to flow well and it isn't hard to use. Just like anything else, you need to use it to really learn it. The mobile app is excellent, and the new tech app they implemented has improved so many things for us. We are anxiously awaiting the release of their new scheduling update. It's not one of the larger software brands, but after doing demos last year with all of them, I didn't feel any need to change.

Pros

We have grown from a small, one-person pest control division with Brio to a much larger one. We recently moved our entire exclusion division estimating and invoicing to Briostack, which brought challenges, as we had spent 14 years with QuickBooks modifying their systems to make this work. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been an absolute wealth of knowledge. After meeting him at Pest World in 2025, I knew he was the person at BrioStack I wanted to help my company transition with. It has required a large amount of customization, and he has been a star in making it all happen. He's incredibly positive with a "can-do" attitude. He's also very good at telling me when I am asking for something that can't be done "yet". He's been fantastic about finding workarounds and explaining how to implement them for me. He really doesn't say "I don't know", which builds an incredible amount of confidence.

Cons

Recently, the level of day-to-day tech support has fallen off from fantastic to "good". I hope it doesn't continue. Their support team all appears to be people in the US, not some "farmed out" call center with people you can't communicate with, as with QuickBooks. I have expressed my concerns, and they seemed well-received, and I felt heard. For the most part, the support isn't about bugs and issues, but about how to perform more involved, deeper-level tasks. Adding pictures bogs down each customer's account load time, so I would not currently recommend uploading a large number of pictures to each customer's account. Just what is actually needed.

Pros

Unfortunately most of what I liked about it ended up being an additional cost that I wasn't informed of or is too glitchy to be functional.

Cons

I’ve used Brio extensively in daily operations for a pest control business. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently frustrating. The platform is frequently glitchy. Updates are pushed that introduce issues, which then require reversals or fixes later. Stability has been an ongoing concern. Several features that were presented as included during signup later appeared as additional charges. SMS pricing has also increased due to segment billing, without clear proactive communication. Customer support response times are slow, and tutorials/documentation are limited or unclear. While the platform has useful ideas in theory, the execution and reliability have made it difficult to trust as a core operational tool. I hope improvements are made, as small service businesses depend heavily on stability and transparency from their CRM provider.

### "Best decision we ever made...."

We wish we had made the decision to switch to Briostack sooner. I've even been able to work while traveling outside the continental United States by accessing Briostack on my iPad or phone. While I haven't yet needed to work from home, I know I could do so easily if required. We are extremely happy with Briostack and all that it offers.

Pros

We switched to Briostack in 2022, and we couldn't be happier with our choice after reviewing other industry-related apps. All of our staff find the app easy to use. Customer support is always available and provides excellent assistance with sales and business management questions. Some of the key features we love most are the invoicing and credit card payment options. Our customers really appreciate the customer web portal as well. The monthly service charge is extremely reasonable considering all the features Briostack offers. We've rarely experienced technical issues, and if we have, they've been resolved quickly and efficiently.

Cons

We don't have anything we don't like. Briostack is continuously improving the application, and we find them always helpful.

Excellent. It has been stress free from day one. I am big on communication. And they always are available when I need assistance

Pros

Customer service exceptional. From the assistance with the onboarding to their system to the current periodical checkups. The transition was so easy to change from the system we were using to Briostack was very stress free. They check in with me from time to time to see I need any assistance, or to inform me on maximizing the functions Briostack has to offer. I can always reach someone for assistance.

Cons

We are in a different time zone, so I get to work earlier than they do. This only poses a problem when I need assistance in the mornings, which is rare.

Customer support staff is always willing and able to help with issues. Generally can resolve any issues in one phone call. If not, they always follow up.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] is always willing to help with any problem. If she doesn't know, she will find the answer for you and get back to you in a timely manner. I had a billing issue and she was able to help get it sorted out.

Cons

There are many improvements that could be made. Scheduling / confirmations / locking appts could be way simpler. When scheduling for a client, confirming and locking on that same page would be amazing.

Overall the team has been thorough and quick to respond and help out wherever they can. The process has been a challenge, but I've felt supported throughout.

Pros

Being able to schedule more efficiently using the mapping tool and being able to receive payments quicker and easier than ever before.

Cons

Too many different options for notes and notes aren't always intuitive. No way to track confirmation of appointments or who has been contacted or not. Bids could be streamlined and graphing tool needs improvements. Some tools like the bulk price increase tool pull from fields unique to Brio, so if you are new to Brio that is a challenge. Also don't like that the bulk price increase tool only tracks increases from the tool not all increases done period.

I would strongly advise other businesses to be very careful before signing with Briostack. They will promise things like “free months” and other incentives to get you signed up, but conveniently leave out important stipulations until after the contract is signed. I was repeatedly told I would be receiving free months of service, yet I was still being billed. When I questioned it repeatedly, no one at the company could give me a clear answer or explanation. Funny enough, the only time I finally got answers was after I demanded a refund for the months that were supposedly “free.” That’s when the excuses and fine print suddenly appeared. At that point, all trust was gone. In my opinion, this is a deceptive business practice and potentially a breach of contract. Instead of simply making things right and parting ways professionally, they are forcing me to explore legal options to get out of an agreement I never would have signed if things had been explained honestly up front. Very disappointing experience. Be careful what you agree to and make sure EVERYTHING is in writing before signing anything with this company.

Pros

The software itself has some useful features for pest control businesses, and parts of the platform are fairly easy to use once everything is set up. Some employees I spoke with were polite and tried to help, even though the billing and contract issues were never properly resolved.

Cons

The lack of transparency and communication. I was promised “free months” during the sales process, but still ended up being billed with no clear explanation. I asked multiple people why I was being charged and nobody could give me a straight answer until I requested a refund. It felt very misleading and completely destroyed my trust in the company. Instead of resolving things professionally, it turned into a contract dispute over terms that should have been explained clearly upfront.

New to the system, but so far it has been great. I need to get used to a few things that are different from my last system but I think it will be a good change

Cons

I wish it had more deisgn options for bids/agreements. Also, i am not a fan of some of the workflow designs

NONE at all whatsoever. Do not ever sign up with this software!

Cons

Briostacks support has been nothing but NON-EXISTENT. I had purchased a company using Briostack and they have refused to help me at all. Now we are switching to another much better software company FieldRoutes, and we have been submitting emails, call, and chats to submit a ticket so we can begin a token transfer to move merchants for over a month with zero help. They keep telling us that they are going through a bunch of employee turnover and position changes. They said our original account manager is no longer managing accounts and that they don't have anyone to fill the position, but that what we are asking for can only be handled by an account manager. I WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE LOOKING INTO BRIOSTACK FOR THEIR CRM SOFTWARE TO NOT EVEN DEMO THEM AND TO RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

Cons

Sometimes there are categories within categories that made it hard to find things. I also wish there was a way to see a total outstanding balance across all accounts (maybe I just don’t know how to find it)

Not worth the time or money. Recent reached out since we left and the support team still needs to go back for training

Pros

Nothing at all. I would never recommend them at all

Cons

The customer service team and support staff need more training. The program needs to be brought back the drawing board to be more user friendly. During the onboarding the team rushed the process and wanted me to sign off on things that was not correct, but stated it would right once in the system. (Red Flag)

My experience using Briostack has been positive from the beginning and over the last several years. They keep us running smoothly, great customer service and the reports that can be generated are also extremely helpful from an owner's stand point to see where you can improve your business outcomes.

Pros

When we decided to make a change to a more user friendly system for our customer tracking, scheduling, billing, etc., the transition was so easy I could not believe it. I had been through other software changes before and none of them ran as smoothly as switching to Brio stack. I had an account representative assigned and he held my hand through it all!

Cons

There are always things that could be improved but Briostack is so great about listening to their customers and giving them what they want/need. If there is something I think could be done better, I express that and they really try to make the improvement. They are very customer focused.

The company and the software have been great to work with and we enjoy our partnership with them.

Pros

This is a product like all in this field that will require an intital setup period, that you will have to setup. Once you are set up the ease of use, and the cost savings have been great. The customer service is very helpful and they listen to your ideas and suggestions to help improve there product.

Cons

The tech app and the station reporting have been two items that still need the most growth. I have seen the improvements that are coming so they are getting better.

I absolutely adore everything about BrioStack. The customer support has been phenomenal. I feel like a valued customer and that my feedback really matters. I've made suggestions and seen updates and releases based on those updates.

Pros

The amount of automation within the software program can reduce the amount of office work by over 50%. All the mundane tasks are now on autopilot.

Cons

The schedule manipulation could be improved to make minor changes or customer notes easier to enter.

Briostack has an excellent sales team and will show you things that look great but honestly it’s the farthest from the truth. Buyer beware

Cons

This software is unnecessarily confusing. Our techs were constantly being logged off and even locked out of their schedules. Bro Stack makes you sign a 1 year non refundable contract. That’s right not even a 2 week free trial. I would suggest reading through the entire contract before signing anything. This company is all promise and does not back up anything. Our team spent months training and on boarding this program only to be completely stressed out. We switch software companies and were up and running in two weeks with a different company.

Route optimization is horrendous. Maybe you need to work with good or the circuit routing app to help. we have thought about switching just because the hours it takes to fix the routes on a monthly and sometimes daily basis

I feel that with Briostack, our invoices look much more professional and are easy for our customers to read. Briostack also offer my technicians ease in filling out the service tickets to perform their jobs.

Pros

This is our first software experience. The staff were great with getting us set up and have consistently been helpful when we reached out. We can always get a live person that can help figure out our issues.

Cons

We wish we could have uploaded our service agreements and not had to rely on Briostack's templates.
