I have concluded that the PrintXpand solution is more important to my business than any printing equipment we own. I consider the PrintXpand solution as the heart of my business and my printing equipment secondary to the PrintXpand solution. Pros Over the last 3 years, the most important thing I like about PrintXpand is the technical staff that I have access to on a weekly if not daily contact as we continue to work on new features and application for new products. I have had only two different software support engineers in the last three years and I have really enjoyed working with both of them. Cons Time Zone difference. I am in Pacific Time Zone and their support time zone is 12.5 hours different from mine. But I must say I have adapted to getting support in the evenings from as early as 7 pm, my time, and as late as 9 am, my time. We have even had support when needed mid day, my time, when it is mid night in their time zone. The quality delivered was always satisfactory. Cons In some cases, additional costs were incurred because the communication was not clear beforehand. The Brush Your Ideas system has solved the problem of how to approach the market and offer what I hope is a winning concept for the future. Pros I have followed the development of this type of online production software for many years hoping to incorporate it into a business of my own one day and Brush Your Ideas have finally made that possible due to the scalability of their product, I'm starting small but I know there is a great upgrade path for me in the future. The software compares well with any other product on the market but the team behind it make it the clear winner. Cons The only thing I have found difficult has been my newness to the system but with the support of the rep and his team I have been on a steep learning curve and hopefully will prosper in the future. Reason for choosing PrintXpand I do like the other systems but the Brush Your Ideas Designer Tool software, even at an entry level, does everything needed to start a business in this industry. The customer support team did a really good job with quick replies and investigation into issues during our back and forth while training and testing the tools. It will be good to continue working with them to improve the product once we come back with more user feedback. Pros We were looking for a designer tool to launch a service that allows our customers to personalize our products with their designs and brush your ideas was one of the better ones that we could find. I liked that the designer comes with all the major features for adding text, images and art to a product and supports multi-side designs, making it perfect for just launching in the market.Integrating the tool into a Shopify site was also easy and was completed by their team within a number of days. I liked that the team was very quick to correct issues once we started testing the integration.I mainly preferred brush your ideas because they allowed us to purchase a full license at a reasonable price and host the tools ourselves, removing any kind of dependence on their team. Cons The product is really suitable for just getting started because it has all the powerful features we would like to test in our nascent stage. However, over time I would be looking to improve a number of things. One of them is trying to reduce the friction introduced by having to direct the customer from the shopping site to the design tool and vice-versa which could make the experience annoying for the customer.
