### "Nice resource for Parent - Teacher Communication"

Keeping the lines of communication open between teachers and parents is the main goal of using Bloomz software.

Pros

Daily updates and the ability to send and share pictures through a secure resource is very helpful and allows me to keep lines of communication open among families.

Cons

It took longer than what I would gauge as "necessary" to learn all of the features available on this software. I still don't feel that I utilize this resource to its full ability.

Pros

How families could talk to one another - comment and coordinate and socialize

Cons

No robust enough from the school/teacher end of things. Wish there were places to track diapers/potty training, or the ability to run school payments and for parents to see their bills in one place

Thank you for your feedback! Please know that we do support tracking for diapers, potty etc. Simply create a "Room" in the app and use the 'Activity Reports' to track these.

You can compare this app to Bright Wheel, as far as keeping track of records and activities. It's a lovely app that I think teachers and parents will appreciate.

Pros

It's vital, especially when it comes to younger kids, that parents are able to get in contact with their educators. This app provides a simple way for information to be sent out to parents, and is easily accessible.

Cons

There are some features that you can only access if you pay a monthly subscription, but I would say you don't have to subscribe to benefit from using the app.

Pros

I love being able to communicate quickly and easily with parents. I love that my parents tell me how much they enjoy knowing what is happening in our classroom. I love being able to post student work, share picture and send reminders. Parents can message me instantly. I have never felt as connected to my students' families as I do now that I use Bloomz.

The Bloomz app is a great way to stay engaged with kids classroom. It works better when the teacher is a daily user showing kids activities. Especially nice to communicate with class parents without sharing personal info.

Pros

The application is a great way to stay in touch with teachers and class parents. A very consolidated way to communicate.

Cons

The application is not attractive or visibly appealing compared to others. The app has a lot to offer and could be a little more user friendly.

I loved using this to communicate with parents in my class. I could post pictures and send announcements of things happening in my classroom. Parents also loves it as well! Makes for a safe way to communicate without giving out personal information.

Pros

Easy to use Easy to send mass messages to people Users find it user friendly Works like a normal social media platform so it is familiar feeling to others

Cons

Not a behavior management tool this is only for communication purposes (but not a con)

Reason for choosing Bloomz

It seemed to fit my needs better.

Great and consistent communication

Pros

Boomz not only offers consistent communication options between teacher and parent, but also offers many features not found in other apps such as calendar and signups.

Cons

Better desktop web interface would be nice. Also, this is more a complaint about the entire field, but it would be nice to not have different apps for each activity, it gets confusing.

I loved being able to securely send messages to my child’s teachers and being able to connect with other parents that had kids in the same class.

Pros

I felt that it was easy to use and I liked that I was able to securely send a private message to my child’s teachers.

Cons

I can't say that I have anything negative to say about the app. My experience with it has been very positive.

Bloomz was alright. I ended up switching to another communication app.

Pros

I liked the overall idea of Bloomz. It is a way to communicate with parents and to send messages back and forth.

Cons

The app itself was confusing. It was not very user friendly and I had a difficult time getting started and getting my students' parents connected.

Good tool to be in contact with the teachers. The tool was chosen by the school and it was no problem to download and start using it.

I love seeing the pictures and learning what is going on in my child's classroom. Plus the teacher will post important reminders for the parents.

Cons

It's up to each teacher what and how much they post. Some teachers post a lot more than others, while some rarely post.

Overall, I like the product and it has made it easy to stay on top of what's going on in my daughter's class.

Pros

My daughters teacher uses this app to help parents stay connected, give weekly updates and reminders, and well as to sign up for events. I think it works well.

Cons

I do not really like the platform, it's not very easy to navigate, and is a little confusing with the profiles, because there is one for the parent and one for the child.

I haven't found myself using bloomz as often as I would like to because I have become frustrated with the slowness and I find it difficult to navigate.

Pros

I like that is it very secure and private.

Cons

It isn't very user friendly and it's a bit glitchy and slow.
