Attention, this is a scam! I purchased a license from them, and for 9 months, the email service worked without issues. After 9 months, they started extorting money. They disabled one of my email accounts, and the only way to reactivate it is to pay more for an upgraded license. Do not buy this app if you don't want to become a victim of fraud!

Hello, Fortunately for all Mailbird customers this is not a scam, and I will explain exactly why: last year you purchased one of our 'Standard' licenses, which allows you to connect up to 3 email inboxes to Mailbird. This information has always been present on our pricing page after clicking on 'See all features' on the following web page: https://www.getmailbird.com/pricing Our systems detected that you had connected more than 3 email inboxes to Mailbird, which is why a pop-up appeared offering the option to upgrade your license to a 'Premium' one in order to be able to connect an unlimited number of email accounts. Upgrading is entirely optional, so we are not extorting any amount from you since you have the choice to not upgrade, even though for several months you exceeded the number of email inboxes allowed under the terms of your license. We're sorry for the disappointment caused, but we must enforce a limit out of fairness to other customers who purchased a 'Premium' license.

### "An ABSOLUTE Waste of Time and Money"

I have wasted more time with this program than any other. Thunderbird is a much better interface. Tech support is useless. You will have to ask your question 3-4 times before they actually read it and answer you. They will send you a GPT response that has nothing to do with your question or the person answering cannot speak English or is not reading the question.

Pros

It looks good until you have to use it, then the pretty interface becomes very inefficient..

Cons

Limited move capability. You can move but only a few messages at a time. The lack of continuous synching with Google Calendars. If they deny this, I have the email from tech support that says they do not do it.

### "Great Mail Manager, Not-Great Search Option."

It helped me with organizing my emial with other software, note takings, calendar, tas managing etc. On the other hand, due to the poor search/filter option it did not help me with client communication, because i had problems with finding whole conversation with specific client.

Pros

Speed, design, integration with third party software. I hold mail managment, organization, delivery status, character of notifications in a high regard. I would recommend this product for those who like elegant design and subtle notifications.

Cons

Search/filter feature is definately the worst part of MailBird. It works especially bad at large noversation, when you send one email to large group of nondisclosed recepients. MailBird groups it in one big conversation, and when the responder send response e-mail it is hard to find it later.

It saves me a lot of time, seriously.

Pros

It greatly streamlines the task of managing my professional contacts on a day-to-day basis. It has become an essential app for me.

Cons

Perhaps the speed of operation is a bit of a weak point of this software. Although by no means is it serious enough not to use it. When this aspect is improved it will become, in my opinion, the market leader.

Desde que uso Mailbird, no uso Gmail, Outlook ni ningún otro gestor de correo, es de largo el mejor, te hace todo más fácil, tienes un montón de funciones que no hay en los otros gestores, una organización perfecta del correo... Eso sí, a veces falla la sincronización y tienes que ir a darle permisos en Outlook si es un hotmail, con el correo corporativo no hay problemas, todo lo contrario que otras aplicaciones.

Pros

La gestión de las bandejas de entrada y diferentes correos es perfecta, es la mejor que he visto tras haber usado otros programas similares, es rápido, puedes sincronizar todas las bandejas de entrada con facilidad.

Cons

Suele dar error los hotmail si usas un VPN, porque no lo reconoce y te bloquea el acceso y tienes que ir a Outlook a darle permiso diciendo que no es actividad sospechosa.

### "If You Have An Exchange Account that isn’t related to a business, don’t buy this!!!"

This is the third time in the last few years that I’ve bought and used mailbird. I immediately remembered upon buying it why I deleted it very soon after… upon writing their customer support really hit home these issues: Here’s a paraphrased conversation from their support: Me: Hi, I have an exchange account that is my school account as I am a student that needs to work with the other inboxes. It’s not a business and I don’t need business features or to pay for a business plan bc I am not a business- is there a work around? Otherwise I’d appreciate a refund. Things weren’t as advertised and not I’m being bombarded with messages within the app to upgrade to business and I don’t have a business account. Support: you can change the IMAP settings. Me: how/where/what do you I change them to? You have no docs or articles to help and your doesn’t allow me to do anything other than choose a new url for the outgoing server. I cannot even access the incoming server. Support: (a different person) Buy MB business! (Then proceeds in many different long paragraphs to try to sell me a business upgrade/account. Me: I cannot delete the exchange account as the app crashes. Once again, I am not a business and won’t be upgrading just to have my student account with my other four accounts. Please help me by addressing the other things I spoke to. Support: x4 more times (ignores my concerns) Buy business!! (Proceeds in paragraphs to try to sell me MB Business, pasted similar pitch…

The UI and the ease of use, versus outlook, mail, etc.

Cons

They have absolutely terrible support that fails to seemingly even read your request, let alone addrsss your concerns and help you work through them. One thing I can say is that their support the last time I ordered this product was MUCH BETTER. They changed their app so the workaround for adding an exchange account seems virtually impossible unless you want to upgrade to business. And then they repeatedly ram you into buying a business account, regardless of whether you need it or not. As someone whose worked in customer success, service, and sales for 18+ This company likely won’t survive if their only response to complains and issues is ramming a product the customer doesn’t need down their throats and not addressing any of their issues. Good support that retains customer and reduces churn actually had the customer’s best interest in mind… it’s clear by how things are ran here, and my multiple support tickets that all pan out the same, that is most definitely not the case with this product. Such a shame bc I actually love the functionality, and as a web developer, I know that UIX with these apps are absolutely terrible.

Very happy with the performance of the software, the simple process and I love the ability to "see" all the important stuff clearly and quickly. The calendar integration is great, so no double checking on different apps and the tracking and filter options are great. Will recommend it to anyone that doesn't want big names to manage their email.

Pros

What I like most is the ability qto manage all my 6 accounts in one place. Plus features like the Time settings to send the email or the tracking of emails are good decision breakers. I wanted out of Outlook this was a charm.

Cons

Maybe the left bar of the account icons, if too many some are not seen directly.p

Pros

Mailbird is very easy to use and actually better than Outlook on some aspects. I especially like the mailboxes management that lets us monitor our different mailboxes in one glance.

Cons

Unfortunately, the software can be overly simple and you sometimes find yourself looking for a feature that simply does not exist. The text processing is also quite catastrophic with erratic behaviour when it comes to formatting the text. But after all, why not? A simple product at an affordable price offering a good overall experience. Yes... But no. First of all, after 3 years of daily use I'm not sure I've seen any changes. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for not changing something that is not broken, but here’s the catch. Some things are actually obviously broken, such as the text formatting, and the team won't do anything about it. The worst for the end: as your mailbox starts to get a lot of messages, it will take longer and longer to send them. Sometimes you even have to restart the software and the message then get sent instantly. I have tried with Outlook and have not had this problem. I contacted them about it, but the guy was completely lost and his best idea was eventually to uninstall and reinstall the software or... Delete my messages! As I write this comment, I can see how my grief is getting the better of this review. It could be a great mailing software, but has set itself up to be average with bugs that make it mediocre. Mailbird, if you are reading this, please fix your software. I love you, but it's getting complicated.

Hello Clément, We're naturally sorry to hear of your negative experience with Mailbird. Oftentimes, issues affecting Mailbird are not directly related to Mailbird - whenever emails take an abnormally long time to be sent/received, we would need to understand whether external factors are at play, such as an antivirus or security software throttling Mailbird's ability to connect to an email server. Certain email servers which our customers use are known to be problematic across a range of email clients (e.g. Dovecot). Other elements can also play a role in Mailbird's functionality, such as not having the latest Windows components or updates installed on one's device (or worse still, these could be corrupted or in conflict due to some other software). I tried to find your Support Ticket but I lack sufficient information to do so - if you don't mind reaching out to us again (marking it for my attention), I would like to look into your problems further. ### "Ongoing problem connecting to our ISP's imap server when trying to send emails. DOVECOT issue....."

Bad, we own 6 or more seats of the business version and this is happening on all the seats. We are experts at removing email account from Mailbird and re installing them to the point that I have memorized at least 4 of our emails passwords which are 12+ characters in length with many strange characters.

Pros

Easy to use and when it works it is great sad thing is that there is a problem sending emails and we are told it is our ISP who uses DOVECOT. This does not make sense as we then subscribed to smtp2go which is a totally different systema and we have the same ongoing issue. We have sent 20 or more .log files as this is what support require and each and every response has stated that we must change the connections to 1 and set the download to manual not auomatic. I have 10+ copies of the exact same canned response which ofcourse does nothing to resolve the problem. Compose email, click send and a day later it is still sitting in the drafts folder. GRRRR

Cons

The fact that there appears to be an inherent problem with the SMTP portion of this program, been like this since day one and the company is doing absolutely nothing to resolve this problem. The only way to get these stuck emails to send is to press Ctrl+Shift, click on hamburger menu, then click on debug, the program restarts and then when it reloads the email sends, of course the .log file most probably shows nothing is awry because now the email is sending..

In azienda, specialmente nel momento in cui si diventa Manager, e si inizio a seguire una quantità importante di progetti, si ricevono, giornalmente un numero di mail impressionate. Risulta necessario, perciò, poter utilizzare un software per la gestione professionale delle mail, che permette di dividerle in categorie di progetto e permette di cercare all'interno delle stesse informazioni in modo celere. MailBird ha permesso una gestione più efficiente delle casella di posta, con notevole risparmio di tempo. Inoltre, l'integrazione con drive e la possibilità di creare gruppi di contatti mi permette di comunicare con più facilità e condividere file in modo veloce a tutte le risorse che si stanno occupando di una determinata attività.

Pros

MailBird è un ottimo client per la gestione professionale delle mail. L'interfaccia utente risulta pulita e personalizzabile ed è presente il supporto a molteplici servizi mail, per citare i due più utilizzati in ambito lavorativo: Gmail e Outlook. La gestione professionale delle mail è data dai vari strumenti che il software mette a disposizione. Risulta possibile, infatti: categorizzare le mail, dividendole per argomento, e ciò aiuta a mantenere ordine nella propria cartella di posta; effettuare una ricerca avanzata all'interno della posta invita o in arrivo, utilizzando filtri per oggetto, destinatario o contenuto della mail, questo aiuta a recuperare velocemente informazioni; firmare elettronicamente dei documenti, ciò velocizza il processo di approvazione e, non meno importante, riduce l'uso di carta; sospendere, con lo snozze, le email ricevute per avere una notifica successiva, ciò aiuta a non dimenticarsi di rispondere a mail importanti; creare gruppi di contatti, il che consente di inviare informazioni a tutto il team che si occupa di un determinato progetto. In ultimo il software consenta l'integrazione con i servizi di Google Drive, e questo permette una veloce condivisione dei documenti con il proprio team.

Mailbird offre una versione gratuita che, però, non consente una gestione completa dell'account mail. Per un uso professionale, in azienda, è necessario muoversi verso una versione a pagamento. Il software, inoltre, è disponibile solo per Windows, ciò taglia fuori a priori gli utenti Mac.

Pros

La gestión de múltiples correos es sencillamente maravillosa, creo que es el que mejor ha conseguido unir todas las bandejas de entrada principales en una sola, una sincronización rápida de correos que te llegan al segundo o una interfaz que al tener adjuntos archivos, no molestan dejándolos en el final.

Cons

El único problema que he tenido ha sido de sincronización al usar VPN, que te genera un error la cuenta de correo y tienes que volver a conectarla, y si es un correo hotmail te da un poco más de dolor de cabeza por la seguridad en el inicio de sesión.

Pros

The software is very lightweight on system resources, is quick and easy to setup and offer a simple interface that is clean and easy to navigate. Supporting multiple e-mail accounts and types of account out of the box is excellent and it really allows you to have a single pane view of all your mailboxes in one place.

Cons

I least liked the fact that the Microsoft Exchange connection is only available in the Business/Pro edition, whilst it used to be that mailboxes running on Exchange were normally only ever a business option there are more and more hosting companies offering Office 365/Exchange mailboxes as part of their email solution.

I haven't been using it for too long but I like it way more than Outlook and think paying once for a lifetime license to the client is a great model that's not too common nowadays.

Pros

The ability to consolidate all of my email addresses AND calendars in a single email client with both, powerful integrations AND the ability to make it barebones enough so that it can be a tool for focusing is fabulous.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of anything bad to say about it for disciplined people. If you're not disciplined, you might have some problems because you can integrate basically any messaging platform with the client and that could end up causing an unlimited amount of distractions.

I really do like the software better than any other email client I have used, so I am sticking with them for now. I hope they are true to their word on only collecting email addresses that you use Mailbird to check. I don't believe they share addresses with any outside company and have only received one sales email from them.

Pros

Easy to use and integrates well with Gmail, Office 365, and just about any email account you would use. Very simple but powerful interface. Love that it has a 'Unified Account' where you can see emails from the accounts you choose, but still leave your 'spam' email account out (you get to choose which accounts show up there). Search seems to work really well, even better than Outlook with both gmail and Office 365 accounts.

Cons

They DO collect email addresses that you use Mailbird to check. I was surprised to get an email solicitation to purchase the business version to an account that I had set up but never shared with Mailbird (I used a different account to purchase.) I would have rated them 5 stars across the board if it were not for this. I read online where someone from Mailbird was comparing this to google saying that google collects all sorts of data. The difference is that google is close to being a trillion dollar company with a lot to lose. Everyone knows they collect data and either accept it or use something else. I had never heard of Mailbird until several weeks ago, and their website makes it sound like they do not collect this information when they actually do. "Mailbird also no longer sends name and email address to the License Management System. " (this appears to be a new 'update', but I confirmed that it has been on the website for the last several months at least.) All of their 'add-ons' are really just opening web apps in a side bar. They don't appear to have any real integration with the program. There are two places to 'opt out' of data sharing. When you first set up the program it asks you, then you have to also go into settings -> advanced and un-check 'Share performance and usage data'.

Love that it's simplified, love that I can customize and add other communication apps like Teams, Slack, etc. but it needs less 'all Google' and more options for MS365 users...give people actual options, unlike every other tool out there (all google focused) - not every micro business likes Google!!!!

Super easy to use, setup, and keep all communication tools in one place

Cons

HATE, HATE, HATE that its Google focused - not everyone likes Google - please make more features available for Microsoft 365 users!!! Like SharePoint, Word, Excel, etc. as an app option! Stop with Google crap!

In general when it works it is a good product, but it does not work consistently and is not reliable.

Pros

I like that all accounts are unified in one place. I can set up icons that help me identify an account at a single glance. The delayed sending feature is helpful and intuitive.

Cons

I have one account that consistently has problems sending mail with mailbird. There is no announcement that it does not send, instead it quietly slides that mail into drafts, and it is a nasty surprise to discover it did not go out. I have contacted customer service several times, they can find no error! On my last attempt they said my log file was too dangerous to open and I should try creating a new log file to send them, as the problem is not consistent it is hard to capture!!

Pros

Con Mailbird no te estresarás con los correos, con funciones como el drag & drop, respuestas automáticas desde tu servidor, archivos y su agradable interfaz, responderás en un momento a todo y tendrás siempre organizado tus correos electrónicos.

Cons

La gestión de contactos parece demasiado básica y algo confusa ya que aparecen varias veces el mismo correo haciendo que los contactos queden quintuplicados. Cuando usas otra IP bien porque en el portátil te conectas en diferentes sitios, usándolo desde el móvil cuando cambia la IP de tu smartphone o cualquier situación que conlleve eso, puede que el acceso se te suspenda por 'actividad sospechosa', así que ojo con eso.

Good app, and good value for money. Still has some features to be improved

Pros

It does a great job of managing multiple accounts. I use it for my work and my private account and it is very helpful to see both of them in one app. Especially it works well in calendar add-on. Another important thing to note is the variety of add-ons like messengers or task-managing apps

Cons

The functionality of filters is a bit low. When switching accounts in add-on apps, it doesn't permit opening two or more accounts simultaneously. Sometimes the calendar app doesn't refresh automatically and customer support didn't help with it

Mailbird helped me reach and maintain Inbox Zero for 1.5 years and counting. I am now far more organized in my life by being able to handle my email as it comes in daily instead of letting it fall behind.

Pros

Mailbird is single-handedly the best software that I have implemented in the last few years. I tried every desktop email client I could find and was extremely impressed with Mailbird right from the start. My goal in transitioning from Gmail in a browser to a desktop client was to be able to answer all of my emails while traveling and being disconnected from the internet. Now Gmail has an offline mode, but Mailbird still beats using Gmail in the browser because of all of its other features. I love having a shortcut \[ctrl-alt-space\] to start an email from anywhere on my computer. Their shortcut keys allow for very fast email composing, reading, and managing. There are many software integrations so you can sync to all of your email accounts, calendars, chats, project management software, etc. My New Year's Resolution in 2016 was to get to Inbox Zero and stay there. Mailbird helped me do this by organizing all of my email, making it easy to sort, and quickly reply. I am still at Inbox Zero 1.5 years later. It does a great job organizing your contacts, handling attachments, and managing your folders. It even has a way to search only your attachments to find that document from months ago that you can't remember who sent.

Cons

I really don't have any cons in using Mailbird other than they don't have a mobile app. This isn't a huge problem as there are other apps for mobile, but it would be very helpful to have the same look and feel on a phone.

Me podría deshacer en palabras de elogio para Mailbird, es lo más cómodo, sencillo, estético y útil que vas a encontrar en un gestor de correo.

Pros

Hay algo que parece que a muchas empresas se les ha olvidado, y es que muchos usuarios no queremos vivir a base de suscripciones, Mailbird, cuyo uso es absolutamente exquisito, por lo que no me voy a centrar en los detalles de lo bueno que es para el correo, no se ha olvidado de ello. Con Mailbird puedes pagar y tener para siempre la aplicación, eso sí, no recibirás las actualizaciones, pero puedes actualizarlo pagando un extra, no es quizás lo deseado, pero desde luego es una opción mucho mejor que tragar sí o sí con las suscripciones.

Cons

Al principio puede que si usas algún VPN o te conectas desde varios sitios con diferentes IPs, te bloquee la cuenta el servidor de correo, pero cuando detecte que el cliente de Mailbird eres tú varias veces, ya no te volverá a pasar.

### "Most beautiful email client with popular software integration"

Overall I am a Fan of Mailbird. It delivers what it is supposed to deliver beautifully. I would recommend anyone to get Mailbird. You will love it when you will be able to handle multiple tools from a single place.

Pros

Mailbird is my favorite mail client from the time they were just starting up. They show all your emails from a nice and clean layout. I also like their skins so much. Mailbird gave me no trouble when I connected it with my office mail whereas Outlook 16 needed a lot of troubleshooting with the app password. Moreover, I could access my Whatsapp, Google Drive, Trello board all from the same place.

Cons

Sometimes I miss a note-taking feature in Mailbird. Another thing I miss is a web panel to check my emails. I need to check mail from my office but as I have a single license and don't want to install Mailbird on my office computer (It has my sensitive login info) A web panel could have helped.

### "All my email in one place"

I tried this software after having a problem to synchronized my email with the Outlook and have use it since then.

Pros

Best thing managing email with MailBird is, it can combine all of my email boxes in this single place and i can monitor and track all my email in here. I can search and filter the email that i want to find by the email address, or from all of the address easily. MailBird really is the best email manager software.

Cons

Some of the email server is not working well with this software. I tried to adding my Yandex email account, but the software keep showing error and can not complete the process. All other email server work perfectly with this software, but not Yandex Mail.

### "Lifetime Licenses to good to be true."

Good until they released 3.0 and destroyed all trust with current long-term loyal customers.

Pros

The simplicity of using this was a dream, the previously offered lifetime product was a nice touch but they have stopped honoring this now.

Cons

It is no longer honouring the lifetime licenses.

made the quick because Mailbird seemed simpler and lifetime services were being sold, this has now been reverted and all lifetime keys are stuck on the older version, so we are now reverting to Microsoft.

### "Es el mejor aun teniendo fallos"

Simplemente me encanta leer el correo de una manera tan agradable, no he visto nunca un programa tan sencillo y hecho puramente para lo que está hecho, con todo orientado a ello, es magnífico.

Pros

La gestión del correo es simplemente maravillosa, desde que lo uso ya no puedo dejar de usarlo en mi ordenador personal, lo compré al tenerlo en la empresa porque la gestión de varios correos es magnífica, es muy limpia, una interfaz amable e intuitiva, también muy limpia.Además dispone de conexiones vía apps o incluso apps para el programa que le mejoran y amplian muchas funcionalidades y capacidades.

Cons

Tiene pequeños fallos, como no poder guardar y almacenar plantillas de mensajes o que la búsqueda es un poco lenta.

### "Mailbird has a great interface for managing multiple mail accounts"

Overall, I stopped looking for another app, and so, for my, the glitchy integrations are not enough for me to move on to another app, because I really like the user interface of Mailbird.

Pros

I like the interface overall. I use it for a total of ten distinct mailboxes for diffferent companies and roles, and Mailbird gives me enough ways to separate these things, while still having a catch-all inbox, which they call Unified Inbox, in case I ever achieve Inbox Zero.

Cons

I have yet to be able to get the integrations to work - Zoom and Google Calendar are the two I would use the most. I also find the Chrome and facebook integrations glitchy - when I had them integrated and would open a link in Mailbird, I could not close the window, ever, so that it was blocking the screen until I force closed the mailbird process altogether.
