Pros I like the quality of the video platform, it is much better the Jane. I also like how there are so many measures that can be sent to clients and how easy it was to create intake forms. Scheduling and finance section are also user friendly and help to keep track of payments. Lastly the stripe connection is great for accepting credit cards safely. Cons In Jane you can create surveys that get sent automatically to clients before their appt. due to COVID I send a screener form prior to the appointment. I wish Owl practice would find a way to send automatically like jane does to reduce my admin time. Review Source AL Amy L. Their customer service is awesome and super quick. And the software itself makes the part of my job that I like the least (the admin side) somewhat bearable :) Pros I love how its so simple and straightforward to send a client their invoice and/or receipt. I don't have to worry about keeping track of payments etc. Huge timesaver! Cons I've been happy with everything I've attempted to do so far - it's all been great! The customer service in customizing the platform for our needs has been excellent, and the quick access to technical help and answers to questions has also been great. I love that I can use my pen and tablet to write progress notes if I wish. Cons The video platform is the weakest link. While it is helpful to just click on the icon in the calendar to start the video session, on the client end it is difficult to navigate, and it also doesn't have the features of other video platforms. I would never use another product! Pros The BEST part about OWL is their extraordinary customer service team - they are responsive, clear, personable....truly outstanding! Cons Occasionally I have difficulty with understanding how to do something - but their customer service folks always guide me through! Pros It is an all-in-one software. Everything I need is in one place and accessible from any where. It looks professional and helps keep my administrative tasks streamlined. May 13, 2021 5.0 I am more organized than ever and I have gone completely paperless which for me is absolutely huge. Thank you Owl! Pros I love the ease of use of this product. I love that I can do everything I need to do from this one place. I have cut down the amount of time I spend on the administrative components of my practice. I love that I can take notes while I am on a video call and send out the invoice within seconds of finishing up the session and my note taking. I also love that I can access all the stats I want at the click of a button. I really appreciate all the measurements that are available for use and that they are instantly computed. Cons I am hoping that soon the capability to mute the sound of my typing while taking notes will be an option. I find that my questions are always responded to quickly but sometimes I would prefer to talk to someone who can help me rather than only have email responses as a mode of communication. Pros The bookkeeping aspects are excellent for me. I am happy that everything is available, including the client portal, all on one site. It is important to me that it is compliant with privacy legislation and our college. It is also important that the server is in Canada. I am very happy with the quick turnaround when I have a question or a problem. Cons 1\. Whenever I have to do something new that I haven't done before, I usually can't find what I'm looking for in the programme and I end up having to contact the help folks - who are awesome, but perhaps this could use more tweaking so that the whole programme becomes more user friendly. 2. Using the word-processing system to write my notes is very annoying! I like to use a larger font than the default and I'm unable to make that change once in the document. They do not have a phone number to call though. It is all email based. All my notes are stored securely as physical file storage is a challenge Cons I would love to see a way to add notes by clicking a picture of my handwritten note. Once you learn, it is straight forward. Customer service is excellent. Cons Learning how to use the different functions is a steep learning curve. I still haven’t learned how to create forms well and use the macros. It is not intuitive to me. The technical support team is fantastic and I know I can count on them when needed. Pros I like that it’s a very complete product that encompasses many aspects of running a business. It’s an all-in-one kind of thing which makes it convenient to have. Cons It has taken me a long time to learn as It has numerous features which can be confusing and time consuming .
