Pros Mentornity is a simply platform to use, with great connectivity and interoperative in a simple and holistic manner. The different platforms offered express the differentiation approach and the customer friendliness. Cons The integraion with other apps should be a plus in order to increase value for money. Data Scienctist Research Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Useful for hackathons" September 24, 2020 4.0 Pros We were able to use mentornity feauters to arrange online meetings between mentors and participants and after that, we saw an overview of the activities, that helped us better understand if and how often they had been using this mentoring tool. We found a lot of support from the mentornity team, giving us tips and adapting their functions to our needs. Cons There are some functions's label you can use as something else but not customize, so it can be confusing the user (e.g. we had to refer to our mentees teams as "start-ups" and couldn't assign them another name). For both programs Mentornity has become an aid for us and help us through digitalization of these two processes. It also stores all the feed in the home page, which is helpful. Cons What I don't like about it is that it's not easy —or not possible to— create time slots and meetings that are repeated, as would be possible in another platform like google calendar, say. Although not originally meant for such short-term intensive use, it was very helpful in helping hackers find mentors and schedule sessions. Mentornity's support of our event was amazing, they responded very quickly to our questions and concerns and even tweaked some things on our suggestion. Cons The only problems we had were related to us using the platform for a short-term, heavy-bandwidth event (a hackathon), which was a step removed from the intended use (long-term mentoring).
