Cashback worked well to cover the monthly costs of the system. Physical cards were dispatched quickly and reliably. Overall the acceptance of the cards was high in UK, EU, Africa and USA. Senior management liked the visibility of Expenses accross departments. Pros Very simple and easy to understand interface for employees and management to understand. The accounting integration was done very quickly and smoothly and all our quirks were taken into consideration in the onboarding to make sure they are included. The APP and website worked well and speedy to use. Cons The customer service was very slow to respond when we had issues with card transactions. Dealing with multiple account managers, no single point of management of the account. Costs increased significantly annually. Pros Easy to use, great user experience. Since it automatically reads the receipt information, it saves you time entering the required details. Cons It can be a bit slow on my 2019 Android phone. The automatic scan sometimes takes longer than I would like. Because of that, adding my expenses can take a while. Pros I liked being able to add filters to my expenses and export these to Microsoft Excel. From here I could then manipulate the data to create financial reports based on what I needed. Cons I did not like having to manually export to Xero, along with not being able to control staff cards enough as I needed to. We used to literally use cash for our petty cash which we would give to staff to buy milk etc. The faff of going to a cash machine and chasing staff for change was starting to get too much then after a couple of breakins (thankfully no money taken but the fear as there) I started looking for a better alternative and found Pleo. So much easier and safer. Staff just take the card and can take a picture of the receipt to add to the app. One a month all the transactions on Pleo are downloaded to Quickbooks. Notifications tell you when and where the card has been used as well as when the money in our account is getting low (you can get it to autotopup but we don't find we need this at the moment as we don't spend that much) Sorted! Pros Really easy to use. Multiple cards and app logins can be set up and also added to Google wallet etc,just like a normal debit card. Pros Before I used Pleo, expenses were a real pain and took a lot of time. I love how easy it is to set up users on Pleo, to give them limits, and for them to start using it. The virtual cards make it really quick to set people up, and the visibility of spending is great. It also gives nudges to people to add their receipts, which saves time. Cons Pleo has a great feature for "fetching" receipts from your email inbox but this doesn't always work brilliantly so I still have to go and find the receipt manually.
