### "Forget About The Other One (Yes, Word)"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Google Docs has been very positive. It makes collaboration easy and efficient, allowing multiple people to work on the same document in real time. It’s intuitive, accessible from anywhere, and reliable for everyday writing and team projects.

Pros

Using Google Docs on team activities just solved it all! And the best part is that, whenever you introduce an image, the solar system won’t be thrown off. Also, forget about losing your work whenever something very little happens and looking «the back up» everywhere in you computer. With Google Docs everything you do is automatically saved in the cloud!

Cons

While it works great for most tasks, advanced formatting and layout options can feel limited compared to traditional desktop word processors. It can also slow down slightly when working with very large documents.

### "Il Prodotto giusto per tutti gli studenti"

April 20, 2026

5.0

### "Prodotto eccellente, davvero consigliato"

February 22, 2026

5.0

### "5 Star ... 10 years ago "

April 21, 2026

3.0

I expected more, especially with all the time they have had since releasing this. It's the slow disappointing fizzle after the fireworks show.

Pros

It's great at the autosaving and shared editing and viewing options, and it's an essential item for most collaboration projects with working documents. It's great for personal use, academic, professional, anything.

Cons

It has changed very little in the last decade, and this product could have become so much more. It could be easier, have more options for text/voice and accessibilities, or allowed for more customization, anything but sit stagnant. What happened, Google?

### "Reliable and Easy-to-Use Collaboration Tool"

January 22, 2026

4.0

Overall, Google Docs has been a very dependable and convenient tool for both individual work and team projects. While it has a few minor limitations, its ease of use, accessibility, and collaboration features make it an essential part of my workflow.

Pros

I really like how easy it is to collaborate in real time with Google Docs. Multiple people can edit or comment at once, and everything is automatically saved in the cloud, so I never have to worry about losing work. Sharing documents and managing permissions is straightforward and hassle-free.

Cons

Offline mode can be a bit unreliable, and formatting sometimes changes when moving files to or from other programs like Word. It’s also not as feature-rich as some desktop word processors for more advanced tasks.

### "Easy-to-Use and Great for Collaboration"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Google Docs has been very positive. It’s a reliable and user-friendly tool for creating, editing, and sharing documents. It works well for both individual tasks and team collaboration, especially in educational and work settings. While there are a few minor limitations, the convenience and accessibility make it a great option for everyday use.

Pros

Google Docs is very easy to use and makes collaboration simple. I like that multiple people can work on the same document at the same time, and changes save automatically so there’s no risk of losing work. It’s accessible from any device with internet, which makes it convenient for both personal and professional use. The sharing and commenting features are especially helpful for teamwork.

Cons

Sometimes formatting can be inconsistent, especially when importing documents from other programs like Microsoft Word. It can also lag or freeze when working on large documents or with many collaborators at once. Offline access isn’t always seamless, and some advanced features available in other programs are limited.

I switched from Microsoft Word to Google Docs because I needed something more accessible and easier for collaboration. Google Docs allows me to work from any device without needing to install software, and I can share documents and collaborate with others in real time. The automatic saving and cloud storage also make it more convenient and reliable for my day-to-day work.

### "Google Docs-the only way to go! "

March 3, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Docs has been exceptional. Within our office, we depend on the ability to see others documents in real time and be able to edit them to fit our needs. In my line of work, I depend on my co workers to edit certain or insert additional information into press releases, article, etc. Google Docs allows us to do that with ease.

Pros

My favorite thing about Google Docs is the ability to easily share your work with others. The simplicity of allowing people to edit and collaborate is both incredible and helpful. Being able to share “work in progress” documents, see edits in real time, and collaborate seamlessly makes the entire process more efficient and productive.

Cons

I would like to be able to insert photos, graphs, etc for more ease. I have found that trying to center an image or resize can be difficult sometime and then throw the entire doc off center.

### "Google Docs is nearly perfect. "

March 24, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been very good, except for the small bug mentioned above, which pops up from time to time.

Pros

It is an easy and convenient method to manage your administrative documents of every kind. Those documents can be saved to your cloud as easily as to a physical drive. They can be opened by most programs, which makes it convenient for everyday use with minimal concern over any recipients not being able to access the data sent to them. The documents can be formatted in a number of ways, ensuring that the end product is what you need.

Cons

There are no major issues with the program set, although I have on occasion had a bug where a document won't read after being saved and closed. This is usually rectified by opening the document from within the app and saving it again.

### "The Swiss Army Knife of Documents"

I literally use it every day. From a quick launch to store information "on the fly" to preparing long-form customer presentations.

Pros

Flexibility and ease of use. Cloud-based meaning my documents are always available from anywhere and on any device.

Cons

In some scenarios I'd like a bit more functionality in formatting options, especially around fitting non-standard content formats on a page.

### "A Great Work Tool"

September 1, 2026

5.0

Overall, I really enjoy using Google Docs. It is easy to use and with great tutorial articles. I like how you are able to divide your sheet by sections.

Pros

What I enjoy most about Google Docs is the seamless ease of use. I regularly use Google Notes to type meeting notes, create and execute work ideas, and to record info.

Cons

I don't really enjoy the lack of creative visuals. By this I mean that it is plain and white sheet. I would also like to be able to create a resume with more ease.

### "A flexible team collaboration for smaller groups of students."

June 20, 2026

5.0

This one is useful to us because it is a shared space, and we need to coordinate our work in our busy tourism business. Although there are some glitchy moments, our changing work styles and requirements are managed by the cloud and convenience of the platform. It fits into our budget, and is very convenient for our smaller staff members. However, better support routes would go a long way in making the user experience better.

Pros

It works excellent for us as a remote team. Real time collaboration allows our travel guides to make quick changes to an itinerary and I can see these changes easily. By linking it with Google Drive, all the documents can be found in one place, which is a time saver for finding documents. When I'm outside of the office at client meetings, I really appreciate the cloud storage feature.

Cons

Some formatting issues do occur, particularly when transfering files to Word, which can upset team members that are not used to Google Docs. The main means of customer support is via forums and this does not always provide solutions quickly. I would like other more direct ways of support if I have certain problems. If there are bugs, this can slow down the workflow, which means solutions may not be readily available.

### "The Tool That Always Has My Back"

February 3, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Docs has been smooth , dependable and stress free. Its the kind of tool you stop thinking about while using , because it simply supports your work quietly- always available , easy to share and reliable enough to trust for everyday writing and collaboration.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Docs is how effortlessly it just gets out of the way! You open it, start typing ,and that's it - No saving files, no worrying about versions , no "did I lose my work?" anxiety. The real magic , though , is collaboration. Seeing people type live , drop comments, suggest edits, and resolve things in real time feels smooth and almost conversational. It worth the price ( especially free ) as it does everything you need without making you feel you are paying for basics. Customer support is mostly invisible, but honestly , it rarely matters , because things really work when you need them to. Bugs are rare and minor, and they don't even disrupt your work flow. Cloud storage as well as writing assistance feel effortless. It is best for daily use.

Cons

Only thing I like least about Google Docs is how dependent it feels on stable internet connection - when the network is weak, the experience quickly become frustrating and limiting. Also, for heavy formatting or advanced document design , it can feel bit basic and restrictive.

### "Google for the group"

June 22, 2026

2.0

Well, I’ve been using it now for a little while. I’ve had no choice. I was kind of forced into it, but like I said earlier, my only challenge is the fear of ruining a document and then you know being able to download it sometimes it doesn’t seem to flow as easily for me as I would like it too.

Pros

Well, I like that multiple users can edit a document. That’s pretty cool. And most people have Google so that makes it easy too.

Cons

The fact that everyone can edit the document and sometimes I’ve had difficulty with using the spreadsheet and stuff and kind of messed things up, so that part is kind of iffy for me

### "Fácil de usar y trabajo colaborativo"

April 25, 2026

5.0

Google Docs is an excellent choice for individual users because ofits ease of use, real time collaboration and automatic cloud saving

Pros

Google Docs has a very simple UI which makes it easier for use for beginners It also has real time collaboration for comments, history, spell check and voice typing Documentation are automatically saved to google drive

Cons

Google docs lacks advanced project management which would make it easier for tracking tasks. As a free user I mainly rely on online help forums and documentation. I experience minor issues with slow internet.

### "Sticking with Google Docs! "

January 30, 2026

5.0

I use it almost daily, and I recommended it to my Mom rather than Word just last weekend. It's the best!

Pros

I love that Google Docs has everything I need from Microsoft Word, yet it is all stored in the cloud and I can access it from any of my compatible devices. It's free with any Gmail account and that makes sharing documents extremely easy. Also, it can be downloaded into various formats to be shared in other ways, as well. Love these features!

Cons

### "Write That Down with Google Docs"

August 13, 2026

5.0

I use this program everyday to type up anything relating to work information or tasks assisting coworkers and my supervisors.

Pros

I get to stay organized with whatever I need to write for work, the task tracking I need to stay on top of all the information I deal with. Plenty of features to help the process along shows the software’s value for money. The cloud storage system helps to provide an additional backup for any loss of data. Jumping right in to whatever I need to do shows the ease of use too.

Cons

Though I have encountered little to none bug and issues, the help guide would be better assisted by customer support.

### "Simple Collaboration and Reliable Document Sharing"

June 22, 2026

4.0

Google Docs has been reliable for daily documentation, meeting notes, and collaborative work. The ability to share documents quickly and work on the same file with multiple users saves time and reduces version control issues. Automatic saving and cloud access have made document management much easier compared to maintaining local copies.

Pros

\- Easy to use and requires very little setup. - Real-time collaboration works well when multiple people are editing the same document. - Files are automatically saved, which reduces the risk of losing work. - Access from different devices makes it convenient when working remotely.

Cons

\- Large documents can sometimes feel slower than desktop office applications. - Formatting may occasionally change when importing files from other office suites. - Some advanced editing features are not as detailed as traditional desktop software.

### "Easy Collaboration, but Not Perfect for Advanced Formatting"

March 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Google Docs has been very positive. It is a reliable, user-friendly tool that works especially well for everyday writing, collaboration, and sharing documents quickly. While it may not be the best choice for highly detailed or heavily formatted documents, it does an excellent job for most business, school, and personal use cases. Its biggest strength is how simple it makes teamwork and document access across devices.

Pros

Love how easy it makes collaboration. Being able to share a document, leave comments, suggest edits, and work with multiple people in real time is incredibly convenient. It is also simple to access from anywhere, since everything is cloud-based, and the interface is clean enough that most people can start using it without much of a learning curve.

Cons

It can feel limited when working on more complex documents. Advanced formatting, layout control, and certain design elements are not as strong. Larger documents can also start to feel a little clunky, especially when there are a lot of images, comments, or formatting changes.

### "Best Cloud Document Storage "

August 18, 2026

5.0

I use Google Docs almost daily both in a personal setting (to take notes, write creatively, share travel plans/itineraries, etc.) and in a professional context (to share and take notes, to make presentations, to create standardized process documents that can be updated as needed)

Pros

I like how easy Google Docs is to use - the formatting controls are so simple and everything is visually appealing. I also like that Google Docs allows collaborative editing and cloud storage between collaborators and devices. I also really like the tab system in Google Docs, which I recently discovered and now use all the time.

Cons

Sometimes, because I’m used to using Microsoft Word shortcuts, I find myself frustrated at the differences between the shortcuts and have to refamiliarize myself with the keyboard shortcuts.

### "Love the product and highly recommend!"

January 21, 2026

5.0

I love working in GD. We use it as the core location for all of our key files. It feels secure and it operates well and reliably for our employees of all ages and skill levels. The folder system that is structured like my laptop's folder system is especially helpful.

Pros

I love being able to edit a document while talking to someone on the phone who is also working to edit simultaneously. There's never a concern about version control, and I can look back at previous versions if we remove text or graphics we later want back. I enjoy that it has most of the features of Microsoft Word, and that Word files can be up/downloaded without losing formatting most of the time.

Cons

I am frustrated that the watermark on our letterhead does not translate into GD because I like to back things up exactly as they were when I sent them out--like job offers and recommendation letters.

### "My preferred word processing app for over a decade! "

January 21, 2026

5.0

Google Docs has been a seamless and user friendly experience throughout my many years of using it. It's reliable, innovative and cost effective.

Pros

Google docs is my preferred choice of word processing app due for so many reasons! Google docs is aesthetically formatted and user friendly. The ability to access your documents from any device is a non negotiable for me. The fact it remains FREE is amazing. The automatic save feature has saved me multiple times. Although this feature has been adopted to most word processors nowadays; when I first started using Google Docs it was life changing for me. I love the collaborative features it offers when sharing a document with someone. Having the ability to share in complete edit mode, view only mode or (my favourite) comments only mode makes a huge difference in being able to control what and who changes the original document. When the document needs multiple people's input it makes it significantly easier being able to see who made a comment and what the preferred changes are, without anyone accidentally changing the original draft.

Cons

I have had issues with my document being slightly reformatted aesthetically when it's been converted to a word document file.

Switched from
