### "Simple, Reliable, and Great for Collaboration—But Limited for Advanced Work”"

May 4, 2026

5.0

However, the experience isn’t perfect. It can become slow when working on large or complex documents, and some advanced formatting features are limited compared to traditional software like Microsoft Word. Also, relying on internet access can sometimes be inconvenient.

Pros

Easy to use with a clean and simple interface Free to use with a Google account Works online without needing installation Real-time collaboration (multiple users can edit at once) Auto-save feature prevents data loss Accessible from any device (phone, tablet, computer) Easy sharing with permissions (view, comment, edit) Built-in templates for resumes, reports, etc. Integration with other Google tools like Drive, Sheets, and Slides Supports voice typing and basic editing tools

Cons

Kindly give me the detail about Google Docs in the line posbit and negative detail Cons: What did you like least about Google Docs?

### "The go-to document tool for PP app!"

January 29, 2026

4.0

Overall really good! It's my go to tool for writing docs or drafting responses. Especially with cloud storage and easy uploads.

Pros

I think it replicates really well the core functionality of a good document writing tool. It has some really great features and of course it's low cost. Really easy to use too. The new AI tools are super cool tool.

Cons

It has not evolved much in recent times and it can be more experimental with more features. I do find that sharing documents can sometimes be a bit of a long winded process.

### "Easy collaboration on brainstorming"

December 16, 2025

5.0

The quickest way to communicate with shared doc notes. Not much experience with customer service as most of the needed functionality was free and the experience was simple enough

Pros

Ease of use on mobile app, desktop, and especially collaboration. One of the best options on value for money. AI writing assistance is getting better.

Cons

Bugs and issues with formatting, especially with converting between Microsoft word documents and PDFs. Cloud storage was limited due to being shared with other Google products

### "Essential productivity tool"

December 10, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Google Docs has been very positive. I use it daily to draft documents and collaborate with colleagues. The interface is intuitive and allows me to keep my work organized. The ability to work together in real time has improved productivity.

Pros

Real-time collaboration and accessibility from any device make Google Docs an indispensable tool. Its ease of use, integration with other Google applications, and autosave feature are major benefits.

Cons

Sometimes compatibility with complex Microsoft Office files can cause minor formatting issues. It also requires an internet connection to take advantage of all its features.

### "Excellent produit, facile d’utilisation et accessible à tous "

April 23, 2026

5.0

### "Google Docs in Medical Practice for Doctors and Medical Students"

December 16, 2025

3.0

Overall I use it a lot for taking down patient notes. Especially when I am having a packed or busy day at the clinic, I tend to type it into Google Docs so that I can transfer it to my system later on. It is accessible and easy to use.

Pros

The ability to edit notes offline and not worry about having your work saved. I also like the ability to share the document with those who are part of the organisation, which helps to limit access to the public and maintain confidentiality.

Cons

The lack of customisation is unlike other tools like Canva or Microsoft, where you have more freedom to explore various formats and layouts. Importing media can be tricky, especially when it comes to formatting; it is more tedious as opposed to Google Slides or other note-taking tools.

### "Google Docs is Easy and Hard depending on outlook of software"

April 10, 2026

4.0

I would recommend it to anyone. I like the functionality and ease of use. There is ways to do anything and everything in Microsoft Office it is just a matter of getting used to the software.

Pros

It is very easy to use and the functionality is up to date with the other word platforms. The search feature is very user friendly when you are not familiar with the application.

Cons

When it comes to export, importing, or saving in PDF the functionality is quite there. You cant save as, you must copy a document, and formatting of your documents is sometimes difficult.

### "The best the world has to offer!"

August 27, 2025

I've used docs since I was in school many many many years ago. I've got chances to read some of my ideas written over 10 years ago because they didn't get lost, but rather attached to my google account!

Pros

Google docs is amazingly easy to use. It can be used online or offline and can be accessed absolutely anywhere because it's not stored locally!

Cons

There isn't much to say about docs in a negative light. Dare I say it, but docs is perfect! There are no issues, it's free and is easy to use.

### "Easy to use! "

December 1, 2025

Overall, this is a great program and very comparable to other top name brands similar to this. This program is most likable for its overall integration with all google platforms!

Pros

Google Docs is a well organized program that is very user friendly. It has all the features needed for our clinic. It makes it easy that everything is connected through Google.

Cons

Using an iPad the features are in different areas, but after learning this it has been very easy to use!

### "Google Docs: The Best Budget Writing Platform"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Google Docs is my preferred typing destination, where I put all my work into each day as a professional writer.

Pros

Google Docs has an incredibly easy barrier to use, given that it is free with a Google account, and consistently gets new features and important updates.

Cons

There's nothing to dislike about Google Docs outside of how bizarre the paperless display looks. The margins become far too wide, and are off-putting aesthetically.

### "Google Docs Review"

July 29, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Google docs is very good, as I use it a lot for work. Google docs is the easiest to use, especially when working with others.

Pros

It’s very convenient, it’s super easy to use, and I enjoy how easy it is to share the doc whenever you need to work with others on a project or documents.

Cons

Google docs is great for exactly that; docs. However, if I am wanting to make a flyer or a document that is more visually appealing, google docs is more limited in this area than an avenue such as Canva.

### "Safety Manager"

My overall experience with Google Docs has been very positive. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and makes collaboration seamless. The real-time editing and commenting features are especially helpful when working with a team, as everyone can contribute and make updates simultaneously without version control issues. I also appreciate that documents are automatically saved and accessible from anywhere, which makes it convenient for both in-office and remote work. Overall, it’s an efficient and dependable tool for document creation and collaboration.

Pros

I love that it is free, set up to look similar to Word, the ease of collaboration and auto saves as you are working. Overall, hard to think of reasons to not like it.

Cons

I can't think of anything I don't like. It is so easy to use, even on a mobile device plus it is free so you never feel like you are missing out on anything.

### "Google docs is a daily tool and a must use"

November 24, 2025

5.0

Its part of my daily routine to open or use Google Docs. Its phenomenally well made, and its up to date with Writing assistance, customer support amongst other things. It's such a power tool and im more organized with it.

Pros

I very much enjoy Google docs usability & its so easy to use, there on the browser accesible. I've never had a bug/issues with it, and the value is invaluable. I use it way more than Word.

Cons

I dislike that it is tied to the Cloud storage linked to your account. I feel like the Google Docs system can be its own separate thing, but i understand why its the way it is.

### "Google Docs Review"

September 2, 2025

5.0

It's a great software to have and it is super easy to navigate, type, format, and create official documents for your purposes.

Pros

Google Docs is your go-to, number one option for creating documents. Its very easy to use, can do many types of formatting, and most importantly it is free.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about the software except for the fact that it auto suggests and underlines sentences that are grammatically correct. It is a small bug that could be fixed I imagine.

### "Unbeatable for real-time team collaboration"

March 26, 2026

5.0

It's my daily driver for almost all written work. It completely eliminated the old "Document\_vFinal\_v2" file-sharing mess over email. It's fast, accessible from anywhere, and makes managing team input seamless.

Pros

The real-time collaboration is unmatched. When my team is drafting detailed project reports or ecological restoration plans, being able to all jump into the same document and leave comments without version-control nightmares is a huge relief. Auto-save has also saved my work more times than I can count.

Cons

Formatting can sometimes get completely messed up if you paste text or tables from an outside source or a PDF. Also, handling really large, 50+ page documents with a lot of high-res images can make the browser lag a bit.

### "Great product for the free/single user tier, can be insufficient for organisation level"

February 18, 2026

4.0

Pros

Ease of use and sharing function. It's easy to share and see with whom the document is shared and at which access level with the click of a single button.

Cons

Some of the tools in the Google environment do not have the same or similar functions for relatively simple actions such as sharing or embedding a document. Sorting options and filters sometime make it harder to find a document.

### "Great for team collaboration and content drafts"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Overall it’s been really reliable for day-to-day marketing work. I use it mostly for drafting, collaborating, and organizing ideas with my team. It keeps everything moving quickly and makes feedback easy. It’s not perfect for design-heavy stuff, but for writing and collaboration it does exactly what I need.

Pros

It’s super easy to use and makes working with a team way smoother. I use it a lot for drafts, content ideas, and sharing edits, and it’s nice being able to see changes and comments in real time. Not having to send versions back and forth saves a ton of time. Also love that it auto-saves and I can pull things up from anywhere.

Cons

It can feel a little limited when I’m trying to format things more visually, especially for marketing content that needs to look polished. Bigger docs or ones with a lot of comments can get laggy too. It’s great for writing, just not always for final presentation.

### "Google Docs For The Win"

March 16, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been great, and I 10/10 recommend using it to help keep your business documents organized and accessible!

Pros

I love how easy Google Docs makes it to change what you need for each individual project. Private project? Secured. Group project? Shared. Need a printed document? Easy to export to word or pdf. Need a saved electronic document? Easy to save and search for later on. Plenty of storage space for free also makes it super cost-effective! I use this almost every day at work, as well as for personal use.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Google Docs (for professional use) is that it sometimes will make it difficult to share items outside of your work network as it triggers a security alert. I don't have that issue with my personal account!

### "Full of Features"

October 13, 2025

5.0

Overall, Google Docs is a powerhouse document application. It works with many other apps, has numerous features, and is nearly my main document app.

Pros

There are so many options that Google Docs offers for users. As a teacher, the absolute best is that it automatically saves! Also, I can look at edits & revisions, which helps curb cheating/plaigarism. Everything is automatically stored in the cloud. There are several functions that are available, such as a great grammar/spelling checker and translation capabilities.

Cons

My main drawback with Google Docs is the "draw" feature. It opens a separate box that you are then unable to view exactly how it would look on the document. It's not as advanced as other options, such as Canva or Pages.

### "Great Alternative to Word"

March 5, 2026

5.0

Great! No issues generally and it was a lifesaver because not all of our computers at work have Microsoft Word so it has been amazing!

Pros

Very easy to use! It saves everything as you type and can look at the edit history if you want to see what changes have been made which is a lifesaver! I definitely use it daily for all sorts of projects! Functionally, no issues!

Cons

No cons of note! Maybe they can add a flyer edit feature so it is easier to position images that you wish to upload on your docs.
