A very positive experience, it is easy to use and I love that it syncs with your Gmail account, so you can access to your documents anywhere with an internet connection.

Pros

Google docs is a great tool for editing files, it is very intuitive and easy to use; if you come from using Microsoft Word you will find all the features that you know are here as well, and they integrate well with the document. The files sync with your gmail account, so you can have cloud access to them in any computer that has internet access. The best of it, it is free and has no ads, so it is a great value for your money; I have been using it for years and have never encounter any bugs or issues. Since it is under the Google umbrella, the costumer support is great and they solve any issues that you might encounter fast and easy.

Cons

Some people don't like the layout, as it isn't as pretty as the one from Microsoft Word, but in functionality it is very versatile.

I enjoy Google Docs. I don’t use it as much as I would like to, but I plan to use it in the future with my schooling a lot more.

Pros

I love how versatile it is. I was able to use it for my work and also for my schooling in college. I never had an issue using it.

Cons

I think the only car I had was figuring out how to say who files and transfer them but a quick video was able to help me in figuring that out.

I like using Google docs on a day to day basis, due to its simplicity and ease of use and perfect for a range of different things.

Pros

The tools, such as editor to help improve writing and grammatical structure. I also liked the wide variety of fonts and text styles.

Cons

The way that is quite hard to insert images and change the size without it adjusting the layout of the rest of the page.

Overall I could not recommend this service enough. It is vital to my work. It makes things run so much smoother and easier.

Pros

Google docs is the best. It is so easy to use and I love the features of automatic saving. I believe that is what sets it apart from its other competitors. I also love how easy it is to collaborate with co-workers because of its ability to share. You now do not have to send the document over and over again but you can update in live time.

Cons

I really do not have any complaints about Google Docs. It is such a well run program I would have to make something up in order to be able to complain about it.

We love how we can create, edit, and share in real time with everyone on the team that we have shared the document/file with. This helps with collaboration and with streamlining activity.

Pros

All of the platforms within Google Drive (Forms, Docs, Sheets, etc) are our go-to so we can keep everything within the same format and stored in a central place.

Cons

Some of the formatting options are slightly different than Word, which is what it seems to be trying to mimic. Obviously, they cant copy it exactly, so I understand the why. It just takes some time to get used to the differences when bouncing back and forth between the two programs.

How Capterra ensures transparency

Capterra lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. Capterra is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider's website.
