Overall google docs is extremely useful for day to day use. I create well-formatted documents quickly and easily which I can export to PDF easily.

Pros

I’ve found Google docs to be easy to use, accessible, intuitive and great for collaborations. It’s also very reliable with autosave features.

Cons

Certain formatting and layout features aren’t as advanced in comparison to traditional desktop word processors but unless you’re needing to do lots of complex documents it’s no issue.

I work with Google Docs to facilitate better and more convenient documents creating and editing experience as i prepare my lecture notes and also learning documents for my learners. With Google Docs, it has been so easy for me to prepare and work on my lecture documents to ensure they are easy to read for my learners and they contain the relevant information. It has given me a very efficient experience in preparing content-rich documents which includes links and files and its direct link with my Gmail makes it so easy to share the documents with my learners. I also like how it makes it possible for me to edit my documents even without any internet connection. Google Docs has great voice typing tool which allows me to quickly edit my documents using voice command rather than having to type everything.

Pros

As a lecturer, i have been using Google Docs almost on a daily basis to prepare for lecturing documents and learning materials for my learners and i have always enjoyed my experience working with it. It has a very smooth and lightweight user interface which makes it easy to use and work with whether am creating new documents or editing the existing ones. I also love the advanced security and access control features which makes it possible to keep all my work and documents safeguarded from malware and other security threats. Google Docs has very effective document version history features which makes it easy to track the changes i make on my documents and also make it possible to retrieve a previous version of a document if i need it. Lately i have found the voice typing feature very useful as it allows me to quickly edit my documents using voice command instead of having to type. I also love how it makes it easy to correct any grammar errors automatically and also help create summaries of a document with ease.

Cons

For the period of time i have been working with Google Docs, i have never encountered any major issues like breakdowns which required me to reach out to the support team for assistance. My experience has always been smooth and convenient and i have not had anything to dislike or like least about Google Docs.

Pros

Google Docs has amazing value for money due to the fact that anyone with a personal google account can use it for free, making it an affordable counterpart to other document editing and creation programs. It is fairly easy to use, with most of the tools you’ll need being condensed into a top bar. Allows for Cloud Storage and Offline editing, which also allows for you to easy send files and co-work with others.

Cons

While Google Docs offers many great features, it can be difficult to locate them due to how they get condensed and moved into menus. Some features are lacking compared to similar programs.

I have been a consistent user of Google document since 2017. I like that I can share it with others, I can retrieve version history, and hyperlink important resources into the document. My students can also use it for real-time collaboration.

Pros

I like the fact that you can retrieve your document anytime, anywhere, and with any device as long as there is internet connection.

Cons

What I like least with Google Doc is that placing an image or a. tablr on the document sometimes breaks the indention of the texts.

Switched from

[Microsoft Word](https://www.capterra.com/p/227146/Microsoft-Word/)

I switched from Microsoft Word because my employer uses Google Workspace and Microsoft needs a license purchase.
