Pros

What I like most about Google Docs now is how useful it is for writing and editing. I love the autosave feature because I sometimes forget to save.

With the ability to save across platforms and work from multiple devices, Google Docs has a leg up on native word processors or apps while remaining free. A great tool to keep at hand.

Pros

Its so efficient to collaborate on Google Docs. From working on lyrics, copy, or just organizational lists: Docs remains a top tool for creation.

Cons

Sometimes sharing can be a bit tricky, adding collaborators sends an email but sometimes that gets lost or the permissions get mixed up and have to be requested.

Pros

Fantastic cloud integration and great real time collaboration tool. The speech-to-text feature works perfectly. Platform is super easy to use and has pretty much no bugs at all.

Cons

It doesn’t have a Windows/MacOS app and you are forced to use it through the browser, because of this you can’t open files from your computer directly in Google Doc but you have to upload them on Google Drive.

An incomparable workflow fluidity for my editorial projects. I never send attachments for review anymore, which considerably lightens my approval processes and allows me to finalize my writing much faster.

Pros

The revision history is an extremely reassuring feature. Plus, knowing that every single keystroke is instantly saved to the cloud eliminates an immense amount of stress.

Cons

The tool quickly shows its limitations and becomes frustrating to handle. Furthermore, while an offline mode exists, I find that the application loses much of its responsiveness and appeal when an internet connection is lacking on my device.

Google Docs es una herramienta muy sólida para el trabajo colaborativo en equipo. La edición simultánea, los comentarios y la organización por páginas con separadores hacen que sea fácil mantener documentos bien estructurados y accesibles para todos. La limitación más notable está en la gestión de permisos: el rol de comentador impide copiar texto, lo que puede ser un obstáculo en flujos de trabajo donde se comparte contenido para revisión. En general, sigue siendo una de las mejores opciones para documentación compartida.

Pros

La colaboración en tiempo real con el equipo es muy ágil. Una función que uso mucho y que valoro especialmente es la posibilidad de crear páginas con separadores dentro del mismo documento, lo que permite estructurar contenido extenso de forma clara sin necesidad de dividirlo en archivos separados

Cons

El principal punto de fricción es que con el rol de comentador no es posible copiar el contenido del documento. Para un uso colaborativo donde a veces necesitas reutilizar fragmentos de texto, esta limitación resulta bastante restrictiva.

I like to use it every day, and I love that it’s completely free to use. I suggest you try it right now.

Pros

I find that using Google Docs is simple compared to other text typing software. I’m an old Microsoft Word user, and from this point of view, I find it simpler: simple when sharing, simple to invite collaborators.

Cons

Authors, editors, or people who use Microsoft Word extensively can find it limited. The fact is that Google Docs is designed to be lightweight to work on a web browser and suits all common uses.

Pros

I love how it auto-saves, makes edits in real-time, auto formats logically, and is intutitive with basic commands

Cons

The auto-correct features on Docs are a bit too much for me. I dislike some the AI features Google has integrated into it.

I have been using google docs from over 15 years now and I highly recommend it to everyone over other applications.

Pros

You don’t have to loose your unsaved work anymore. Even if you forget to click save at each step, no need to worry anymore. It will be saved automatically.

Cons

There is nothing you can dislike about google docs. All the required features are incorporated in it already.

I absolutely love Google Docs, use it every day in my bookkeeping work, and have moved all tasks from Microsoft Word into Google Docs instead.

Pros

I love how easy it is to create and use documents on here, regardless of which computer I am using. Plus it's free!

Cons

The default layout is landscape, and I prefer portrait, and sometimes it is hard to search up a document I created a while back.

Pros

Google Docs is super handy when using it as a note-taking app. I open a new document through Chrome and continue typing on my phone.

Cons

It’s possible to use it as a full document software like Microsoft Word, but that requires an internet connection.
