August 25, 2026 5.0 I have been a certified Podia Pro for a few years now and I can honestly say I don't want to build for my clients on any other platform. Not only is it incredibly easy to use as a designer... but I can actually hand over a website to my client that THEY can edit afterwards (I can't say the same for when I was building on other platforms). Their team is always incredibly responsive to support requests, and they iterate on their features as users share their feedback which feels like something very rare these days for other companies. I'm about as loyal as loyal can get to Podia - I love it! Pros I love the ease of use with Podia. It's my favourite platform to build on for a reason. When I hand over sites to my clients, they are edit themselves which is incredibly important for any creator or small business owner. They are always announcing new features to help their users and they really listen to their customers. Cons Literally the only con (and this is as a web designer so this likely isn't a deal breaker for many others) is that as of right now we can't do a drop-down sub menu in our navigation. August 27, 2026 5.0 Great product, great folks, and the overall setup is very easy to follow. Whenever I'm asked what online service to use I immediately reccomment Podia. Pros Great templates to get started, awesome and responsive customer service group, and the overall product/service is easy to navigate. Their value is one of the best out there. Also loved the awesome hours of their customer service as I"m an early riser. Cons I can't think of anything at the moment. I've worked with other similar services and Podia is by far the best. CEO Publishing Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Run away as soon as possible" July 28, 2025 1.0 HORRIBLE, keep away if you care about your data, nerves and financials. Many things don't work in the system and the customer support is always "I'm sorry, i know it's frustrating, we will pass to our developers, but can't say when and how the issues will be resolved". No Value for money at all. Bad and long learning curve to working with their financials, all emails are marked as spam and generally the system sucks. They make changes to basic logic in the system without any alerting to the customers, no explanation of what is about to happen, simply change one day and we should work around it, while it's still with bugs and issues. The subscription is not actually as per the plan, they give you additional seats, but only the owner for example is able to answer messages form the students, so they charge you, but not really supplying the goods. Pros Only the pricing, witch is cheaper then other solutions, but completely not worth the delta. Nothing ever works, always something broken, horrible customer support. Cons The app is so buggy and so not working well, it's amazing i was able to live with it for more then a year until i got the courage to leave to another supplier. I'm a coach and host an online membership community. The platform has been easy to use for me as a creator and I've received feedback from my community members they love the interface as well. As a creator, the templates, customization options and ease of use helps me save time, money and energy when I'm creating new products and working on my site. Highly recommend! Pros As a creator, I like that it's easy to use. When I started using Podia, I had no experience with website development and design. I was able to teach myself how to do everything I needed within the site and over the years, it's become easier and easier with templates and site-wide branding. Cons Everything I liked the least has been changed - for example, I host a lot of in-person and online events and when I first joined, there wasn't a way to do registration easily for in person events. Now there is. Similar with payment plans for clients. I can now set up payments for clients to choose pay in full or payment plan. Every con has turned into a pro! " August 22, 2025 5.0 I'm delighted to find Podia after wrestling with wix and wordpress for years. I have lost so much time and money between those platforms. Podia gives me the freedom to focus on creating quality content in my unique voice. Not having to deal with all the backend stuff. For the price, I am happy to pay their subscription fee all in one place. Not payments to multiple third party services that make one site, like wordpress and plugins. Pros Incredibly robust suite of tools all in one place. Total value for the money in contrast to building a wordpress site with membership, courses, custom forms, audio / video streaming. All without the hassle of needing to be a web designer or css wizard. Support is a breeze to get on chat and they're super proactive! Cons I don't have any yet. I contacted support because I ran into a snap trying to import my wix blog unsuccessfully. But it is due to wix not allowing one to adjust the feed settings. I also inquired about being able to integrate Gelato or redbubble print on demand products which currently is not available. However, all my suggestions and inquiries were added to future feature requests. This is definitely a pro even though the options aren't currently available. It has been affordable as it combines so many tools into one. I love, love, love the website I have created on the platform, and it was super easy to do. Their support is very helpful when I have questions. The courses are a little confusing to some of my clients, with the lessons vs. discussion areas. Overall it has helped me grow my business a great deal in the last 9 months. Pros I love all of the different functions that can replace multiple other tools. I have my website, email marketing, community memberships, and client portals all on Podia. Their support team is also very helpful & responsive. Not only do I host very practical and detailed B2B business courses on Podia for my clients, companies of all sizes, from very small businesses to large organizations, which they can access and watch independently, but I also use the platform to provide dedicated spaces and resources for the clients I work with on a daily basis, whether one-to-one or one-to-many. Everything is very easy to use, from promoting the courses to accessing them. The whole experience is clean and efficient. Their customer service is incredibly fast and your basic needs are covered. That said, their features are quite limiting. They seem like a solid deal up front, but once you really get in there, it's been my experience (twice now) that features fall short and you'll be recommended to use a third party that will cost you more money. Pros The fact that Podia hosts your videos and content for you is a huge win and savings. When I used Wishlist Member, I was stuck with Vimeo Pro and it's a lot of back and forth between softwares. Podia is all-in-one in that regard. Cons Say you offer a Coaching Call / Mentorship package for a 30 minute call, 1 hour, or a 3 month bundle of calls. Instead of creating one product, one sales page with 3 simple pay options... you have to create 3 full separate products and then create a separate, custom page as your sales page using columns. You can't have a simple dropdown menu to select the simple option. Want to create a membership with a startup fee? i.e. $75 join fee, then $29/mo. You can't. Want to add a countdown timer to your sales page? Great! Go spend another $49/month with Deadline funnel (that's legit their solution or make a video gif of a timer). No custom embed codes can be added to your sales pages. Have multiple email lists like I do? You can only integrate with one, so be sure to get Zapier at another $20/mo so your people can get on the right list. Want to put something on sale and have see the higher price crossed out so your customer sees the price difference? You can't cross out pricing and you can't put things on sale - you must create a coupon code. Reason for choosing Podia I loved that Podia hosts your content right inside the platform. Consultant Online Media Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A solid platform for packaging and selling your knowledge into courses, memberships & more" May 5, 2021 5.0 I have had a good overall experience with Podia as I have used it primarily to sell video courses and access to the content of paid, pre-recorded, virtual summits. Pros There are a few features I really like about Podia. Firstly, there's the overall platform design (dashboard, course pages, etc.) and user interface. At first, it may take you a moment to familiarize yourself with the different things Podia does but each section is quite straightforward, making the onboarding process a smooth one. Additionally, I like the fact that Podia gives its users unlimited hosting of video content through one of the premium video platforms: Wistia. This means that you can upload all kinds of videos, as well as PDF and other types of learning materials, without having to worry about potentially "running out of storage". Some course platforms limit themselves to enabling users to create and sell courses, while Podia can be leveraged to offer other things such as memberships, challenges, and digital workshops, just to mention a few. Cons While I like the overall Podia concept and design, I feel that the landing and sales page customization power is quite limited. That's something I wouldn't mind seeing it change in the future. March 13, 2019 5.0 The setup was super easy, the team helped me tremendously by taking over feeding my email list into the system and they were super quick with all their replies to my questions. I watched one of their weekly ask-all live webinars before signing up and really EVERY question was answered. In addition to their fab features and superstar support, that's what got me hooked. After setting up the dashboard, building the storefront for our freebies and the subscriber signup was childsplay. Everything looks super pretty, in our brand colors, and, NO KIDDING; our email list that we had built over 14 months with MailChimp DOUBLED in just 10 weeks. On Podia, we host 2 separate freebies, the complete recordings of our weekly webcasts, and an online course. Everything interacts perfectly. 100% recommended! Pros So simple to set up. So accommodating of their clients' needs: Think subscribers that are segmented from the get-go, newsletters and email drip campaigns that are as easy to write, beautify and send as an email, a pretty and sleek storefront, fully implemented with your website. Also think ZERO cut from your earnings, NO restriction on your content. You pay the monthly fee and that's it! One more thing: Podia takes care of invoicing, VAT - depending on where you are and where your buyers are ... a constant hassle to get that right and Podia just takes that load of your shoulders! Cons The only thing that bugged me was that I couldn't personalize the emails, like address them to a person by name - - and Podia has that on their agenda. Adding that the YouTube videos from Podia are very helpful, and realistic. The emails I receive are also reasonable, I am not bombarded with irrelevant emails as with other platforms. Pros The simplicity of use, especially since i am over 60 and find other website platforms like Wordpress too complex. I can manage everything on my own and dont have to hire a VA or OBM. IT has everything I need o sell my course and digital products with ease. THE customer service is outstanding, beyond outstanding. Not only is the response within 24 hours, but often accompanied by a detailed LOOM video addressing my question with solutions that I can execute myself. Even when I am searching new features, I can find those very easily and there are great "help pages". For my products and e-Mail marketing it is very important to have it very smoothly, because I don't like to spend my time by try to find out, how to use the plattform. I can concentrate myself in my job and Podia is my expert for the marketing of products. Pros Podia is very easy to use and like the design featuers. I also love to have my e-Mails on one page. Review Source MD Misty D. owner Information Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Simple, Great Customer Service, Lacking Some Important Features" December 5, 2019 3.0 I really love the other tool I've been using for my membership site & I'm a very techie person, but I'm finding that although it has tons of great bells & whistles, it's also pretty complicated to implement adding a new course or even a new freebie optin. In using Podia for these past few days, I'm seeing how the simplicity can help me take more action faster & get more value to my people without getting hung up in the tech. Customer service has been exceptional, so kudos to you all for that. Pros The simplicity. It feels like it will be a lot faster & easier to get a new product/course in there without it being very complicated or having to run through a ton of testing prior to launching. Cons There doesn't appear to be a way to add Pinterest tracking tags (super important, possibly a deal breaker). Lack of customization options on pages (even some simple things like changing font size or reducing the huge amount of white space between sections). Inability to direct to a custom thank you page instead of just taking them straight into their product. This makes it impossible to have a true sales funnel with a thank you video & tripwire offer and lead into a bigger upsell. This could mean a huge loss of potential income. The ONLY thing you can virtually guarantee someone will see when they opt into your freebie is the thank you page. It's the biggest opportunity to sell to someone new. There are "upsells" in Podia but they appear to work more like an order bump. Not a true back & forth integration with ConvertKit. Review Source Eric G.
