We have implemented a real time status updates solution for our customers and also added a security feature for their accounts with an OTP verification through SMS

Pros

Ease of use and integration through their API, Cost-effective and has an almost real time delivery of messages to customers.

Cons

There are some minutes of delays with the messages sent to some customers (due to the mobile network provider?), but they get received eventually.

Cons

I am unable to send messages to EVERYONE at once. I only have the option to send to one group at a time, unless there is something I am not doing right. Is there an app?

The documentation and customer support stood out among all others.

Pros

Documentation was top-notch and allowed me to get up and running quickly. When I needed support they were responsive and kept on top of things until the issue was resolved.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind, but just make sure you review the requirements of a dedicated number if sending messages to american recipients.

Pros

We wanted to send messages to mozambique but 2 out of the 3 carriers did not recieve our messages. We asked customer support but it took serveral days to look in to maters and our last question was never resolved. This was really very disappointing.

Cons

The software is fine, the send service is horrible and support doesnt solve problems.

Very unethical on payment front

Pros

Tried it for a week. Didn't like it so didn't use it much

Cons

Had tried it in July 2020 and had linked my credit card. But then didn't go ahead with the paid plan and stopped using it. But surprisingly, they charged my credit card on Feb 4, 2021, for $600 which was very surprising. Contacted their support team. Was shocked by their response when they denied the same. It was very unethical and a case of fraud.

It's fast and easy to integrate, you can get started right away with any barriers. And the support team is always available to help.

Pros

It works out of the box with IFTTT and it's really easy to integrate with your native app or workflow and the SMS feature is more affordable and reliable than other services.

Cons

So far everything has been great. No issues at the moment.

We are evaluating some programmable SMS providers. MessageBird is not working at all with their .Net SDK.

Cons

Try to send SMS by program, used their demo code with their .Net SDK, cannot compile, got error CS0236. Their support can't read the issue, gave reply help nothing. Even the basic instruction on their website is wrong, like this one, "The following command will install MessageBird: install via NuGet"

No matter how good a software is, if customer support is horrible I will not stay with the the service. I'm very happy with MessageBird's customer support team. Overall, MessageBird has become an important tool in moving by business forward.

Pros

The three things that will keep me coming back to MessageBird: 1) Value for my money 2) Ease of use 3) Very responsive customer Support team

Cons

This may be more of a carrier issue than the software itself, but it would sure be great if I could include clickable URLs in my messages to my recipients.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to set up. We had a meeting about sending out reminders and then after a quick google search, we found it and were up and running fast.

Cons

I didn't like the pay per use. We looked for a subscription service and found one that fully furnished everything for a fraction of the cost. So we went that direction.
