Value for Money

Pros: none

Cons: Predatory billing and payment options/fees - that limit the payment amount per online transaction to $200, and charging a 'convenience fee' of $4.95 / per transaction

Outdated website - that has seriously not been updated since 1992

Lacks basic reasonable functions and feature to manage an account online

Overall: Having dealt with this software/company for the past 2+ years, I have become very aware of its questionable functions and procedures, not to mention unethical practices. Some of them include;

Predatory billing and payment options/fees - that limit the payment amount per online transaction to $200, and charging a 'convenience fee' of $4.95 / per transaction

¿ By limiting payments to $200/max per transaction¿ and adding on a $4.95 processing fee per transaction, anyone with a balance over $200 will be forking over an unreasonable amount of money for payment processing, which is typically free for EVERY OTHER bill customers pay online.

Outdated website - that has seriously not been updated since 1992 (I have been a website designer for 16 years, so believe me¿ is ancient); moreover, it provides little to no relevant information to the customers. The only information that is provided on the customer¿s account online is;

¿ 2 vague bar graphs that compares the usage during the current billing period to that of last year, for both hot and cold meters
¿ The ability to make a payment ($200/max per transaction)

That¿s it! Customers will NOT find any other information regarding their service¿ They will NOT find a history of statements, they will NOT find a payments history, they will NOT find any pricing or actual meter readings, they will NOT find any information about the other services that are included in their statement as well; such as, trash service or wastewater flow. The website is completely VOID of any relevant/useful information.

Recommendations to other buyers: They should take the time and provide an informative and functional website where customers can access information regarding their account (billing, as well as usage), make payments to to their account (for free)¿ At the VERY least. It's not 1992 anymore guys, stop using old technology just so that you can pocket more transaction fees by preying on customers. Your failure to provide reasonable online account management is not an excuse to overcharge, misinform and steal from customers. It's unethical.
