About Sixdisciplines RightPage

Six Disciplines RightPage is a powerful FREE collaboration tool that extends brainstorming into a group collaboration tool. A facilitator uses any app to lead a group to capture brainstorming ideas. Next each person is allowed to vote privately and share their results without being influenced by others. No group think. Explanations are given, the quiet ones are heard and a revote is taken. We have used this thousands of times for 15 years. Clients love it.

Pros: It's simple and effective, which is about as much as you can ask of any software. The 100-point exercise does a great job of getting our team on the same page. We never communicated this well internally until we started using RightPage.

Cons: I have no real qualms with the software. The user interface isn't that exciting or flashy, but it doesn't need to be.

It was a wonderful experience. Even though it could be deemed common knowledge, it was pleasurable

Pros: It made it easier to start the conversation with the tables. As stated previously, even though most information was common sense, it was nice to be able to interact with team members and brainstorm solutions and walk away all on the same page and understanding.

Cons: A little more in-depth training would have been nice. I feared going into the 3rd exercise, that I did not save my work.

Some of the questions were confusing to understand.

Used once in the group set up and it was success

Pros: It was fairly easy to use, did not require extensive training, provided timely results for the group.

Cons: I do not know what type of work will go into setting up this software to do the job intended for.

Overall: Easy to use and timely information feedback

Pros: Great tool to capture ideas. The ease of use of the technology. Allows remote participants to stay connected to the process. The technology/software provides the ideal medium and process to synthesize critical initiatives into vital few objects that everyone contributed to.

Cons: In the FREE version, there are a small number (I think 6) of initiatives to SAVE and work with.

Original version had limitations to consolidate ideas (I think this is resolved). There was no PRINT feature within the online software (This may be resolved).
