"A HUGE time saver for us.."
Overall: We had PDF data we needed exported to an excel file. The data is not in a nice tabular form, so we needed something that would be able to search the PDF, find the proper data and transfer that to an excel file. Doing this manually was taking the better part of a day for one person. After everything was setup with Parserr, we had the data back within 10 minutes. HUGE win for us.
Pros: - Reduced the amount of time to get data into excel - Customer Support was always there to assist - Once it is setup, there is nothing you need to do and it just works. - They listened to my feedback and some of the feature requests I asked for are already added to the product.
Cons: - can be intimidating to configure. Luckily Support will help and will even set things up for you if you want.
"The best support hands down!"
Overall: When we first installed Parserr we did not know how to proceed. We did not read the manual and we were in a hurry to get things going. we contacted their support through chat. The responded within a minute or two and when we explained our problem, they just said, "I can do that for you". Hallelujah! There were a couple of back and forth between myself and the technician, and a couple of tweaks to get it just right, but its been working without intervention and flawless since we got it dialed in. I would not have been able to do it without the help and friendliness of their support team.
Pros: Parserr has the ability to parse and change just about anything. It's so flexible and powerful, honestly it's way more power than we need, but no other program seemed to be capable of what we wanted. Our parsing was straightforward, but the way it needed to be passed through was complex.
Cons: The time zone of the software is set to GMT and it makes it cumbersome to see when things came in and were parsed. Better to have the ability to set my timezone and convert time to me. It's a nit, I understand, but it would really help.
"Not worth the time and money"
Overall: It seems that the executive is a one-person show with no real intention of supporting the product and the customer. The software is slow, buggy, unreliable and is an excuse to draw genuine customers in, purely for gathering monthly revenue purposes. Stay away from this product and try the alternative, Parseur. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: There wasn't anything. It looked good from the company marketing and website but was nothing to what it promised and promoted.
Cons: 1] The entire functionality of the software was poor. 2] When parsed data was being exported to either Excel or Google sheets, rows of data were occasionally overwritten by new rows of data. This left our customer orders missing and or inaccurate as orders were blended. 3] Ticking the ALL checkbox to then perform a bulk function (such as reprocess all emails due to loss data previously) only performed the 50 emails that were visible on the first page. Therefore, manual page scrolling > bulk selection > actioning became tedious and inaccurate as Parserr would always return to the first page and the data was not in the same order prior to the bulk action. This meant that it would miss orders or process them a second time causing replication of data. 4] A clear issue between the Google Account and Parserr when data is to be exported. This has to be reset and re-aligned for any reasonable amount of data to come through from bulk emails. In most cases, the data processed stopped at only a halfway point of the expected amount to be processed. 5] If emails could not be processed as their layout was different from the initial templates, the software was unable to offer where it had issues on the page. Hence, it would just miss the email and move on. 6] After weeks of requesting help in support chat requests, emails, having to upgrade the subscription as Inbox credit had run out and even a promised return phone call from the support that never eventuated, I gave up.
"Stand out software - Stand out service"
Pros: For most things you would want to parse the setup is quite easy and, if you need help, the service is outstanding. I love that it can parse emails AND their attachments.
Cons: Certain advanced parsing features are...advanced. You may need help from their team to get it setup.
"Excellent"
Overall: Excellent, helps automate out lead gathering.
Pros: The automation!! It saves me so much manual time each week, once i've set it up and I did the intial testing, it now runs itself and works like a charm. Customer service is also responsive and helpful.
Cons: A little tricky to setup at first and this would not be user-friendly to someone who was not technically savvy, however their customer support team is on hand to help out and assisted me setting up specifc parts of my parerrs.
