" October 29, 2024 2.0 Retard important pour récupérer la licence auprès de notre fournisseur, ce qui est embêtant lorsque l'on mise tout sur l'outil pour animer un événement interne important. Licence affectée au mauvais compte avec nécessité d'usurper l'identité de ses collègues pour pouvoir bénéficier de la licence, celle-ci n'étant pas positionné sur mon compte car déjà existant en version "gratuite" je comprends donc que l'upgrade vers une version payante n'était absolument pas envisageable. Souhaitant faire savoir à Menti que ce mécanisme ne me plaisait absolument pas et réclamant un remboursement des licences achetés, cette proposition a été refusée. Je suis mécontent du service commercial et client. Pros Design sympa et professionnel en première approche avec une utilisation relativement simple. Cons Service client et méthode de mise à disposition des licences clairement à revoir. It is now completely useless in 2024. Company refuses to issue a refund for my remaining balance of 2024 despite being a long-term user. Avoid at all costs! Pros Quizzes used to be great, fun, engaging, and impactful before the degradation of the program in 2024 Cons In 2024 it is now completely useless. No more leaderboards for the quizzes (all my leaderboards from 3 years of saved quizzes have disappeared with no way to bring them back). In 2024, you are now forced to use templates that quite honestly suck beyond belief - they look like some a grade schooler would put together. May 25, 2022 4.0 My experience with mentimeter has been quite happy. It helped me reach wide range of learners with the use of real time leader board that created enthusiasm in learners. Pros Mentimeter helps me conduct interactive polls and quizzes with pleasant background music to engage with audience . I am quite impressed with the live word cloud creation feature and beautiful visualization which makes it easy to use. It has always been a fun and an interactive experience for me and my learners. Cons 1\. The font size of options for the questions is too small due to which it is not properly visible to the learners. 2. Cons The fact that you have to pay for some tools makes some people not allow themselves to use this great software, it is true that it has some free tools and that you can work with them without any problem, but the fact that you are always receiving a notice to pay, ruins the experience of the software. It makes my classroom more engaging. It also keeps all data nice and neat for me. Mentimeter is so easy to use. It has many different options so you can change up your questions or your quiz so they don't look the same every time. Wonderful product! Pros I really like how Mentimeter is easy to use. I have created a few questions as an exit ticket for my students last minute. I have also used this tool for vocabulary, to see how my students were feeling about their homework, and also to see if they are understanding a topic. I love that you can get instant feedback in a variety of ways. Cons The software only allows you to create two questions with the free version. January 13, 2020 4.0 When it works, it really works. We most recently used Mentimeter at our last internal staff training event. We had a room of about 30 employees, all who connected on their phones for the interactive part of our presentation. We hosted a 'Health and Safety' quiz, and employees loved seeing their results show up on the main presentation behind us. We were also able to export the results, and analyse the level of competence in the room - brilliant! We use Mentimeter for internal staff events every 3-4 months and it has changed the level of engagement dramatically. All staff members now interact, and are deeply immersed in the presentation itself. Pros Mentimeter has been a great platform for engaging with our employees at our internal staff events. It has also increased audience participation overall enabling us to gain insightful feedback and opinions from all staff members, introverts and extroverts alike. My favourite feature is the 'leaderboard' for hosting live quizzes, followed by the 'Q&A' feature. The latter is especially effective when you have a more reserved audience - they can submit their questions to the main presenter at the tap of button, ensuring their voice has been heard. It is easy to use and user friendly for those who are attending a presentation. Most importantly, the tool has enabled us to canvas the opinion of our staff members and engage with those who may not have felt like participating before. You can create Mentimeter presentations to match your corporate brand too. Moreover, if you are familiar with Microsoft Powerpoint, you will have no problem getting used to this software. Cons For those people who are not tech savvy at all, it can be a lengthy process of getting someone to "connect to WIFI", "open browser", "type in mentimeter URL", "type in presentation code". Indeed, if someone can facilitate their set up, the rest is easy - this is what we have done in the past and will continue to do so until everyone is familiar. I would love to see more ideas from Mentimenter on how to use the software to its very best, particularly from different angles - e.g. marketing teams, training providers, HR interviewers, etc... Reason for choosing Mentimeter I loved the clear and friendly website provided by Mentimeter and the bite-size blog posts which are regularly published by their team members - together with a cost-effective price - we felt inspired to sign up. Pros It is easy to set up and the interface is very professional when displaying the interactive surveys and polls. It is a great tool to build engagement with the audience as I give marketing presentations for my business. Cons It does not integrate well with PowerPoint which made my presentation crash and also causes participants to have to switch between the PP and the Mentimeter poll which took away from the experience of my presentation. We love how quickly audience members can use it,even less tech savvy folks and the name recognition. Cons It isn't as fancy as some other interactive apps (eg the date visualization is slightly more basic), if you need ALL the bells and whistles, you might need something else. Internally, it's a great way to gather feedback from employees, while staying anonymous. Pros Mentimeter provides an easy way to engage with your audience in minutes. The polls can be customized in minutes and they are both desktop and mobile friendly. Cons What we like the least is the number of customizations. Mentimeter needs to allow more customizations, especially on the theming side and the slide templates. Often times audience also complaints about being unable to vote or reach the slides, so I hope this is improved soon. The tool is super easy to use and anybody can really use it to empower their presentations Pros Mentimeter is the first interactive software I find really fun for companies. The first time I used it was during one of our \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] presentation. He used Menti to create general interaction during his meeting. It was pretty fun an awesome to see the result appearing live on each of our screens. You can use it in very serious and more decontracted context: really nice. Pros I really like the interactivity. I like the designs and the reporting options. Cons The price made me go to another provider. If not using it very regularly it's expensive. November 18, 2023 5.0 Pros I just love Mentimeter, it is so easy to use and so nice to see the results, therea are the options you have to choose for the result. I like the word cloud the best and the polls for activities I use weekly with my students. Cons There is nothing I don't like about the app. However for the free use you have just 2 slides to use. For more than 2 slides you have to buy a plan. Pros I like how Mentimeter can make it easy for viewers of your presentation to become participants. No need to download anything, as they can just go to the website and fill in the provided code. Cons People do need to have a smart device or laptop, connected to internet, to participate in presentations. And having the audience grab a device, can also cause them to become distracted.
