Overall Firebase is a best database for beginner to pro level developer. We can easily integrate firebase in our apps and start collecting data from the app. All the features are available in free version, I personally use Crashlytics, real-time database, cloud firestore and authentication. So I definitely recommend you to use this software.

Pros

It is available in web app so easily available. Crashlytics is a tool use for getting data of crashing of app in different phones. Authentication and cloud firestore is best for collecting data from user. New Machine Learning and test lab features is added.

Cons

Sometimes it slows down due to heavy traffic. Free version have limited access, for growing data we have to purchase plans.

Best resource for mobile developers ever created.

Pros

I could not develop without Firebase. It has every single feature for mobile development you could ever want. I have multiple projects with data, storage, FCM, analytics, etc. I was using Firebase before it was bought my Google and it has only gotten 10x better.

Cons

Firebase continues to change the layout and design of their console when they add new features. Its a catch 22, but can occasionally be annoying.

Pros

Firebase is basically the next generation API platform for with making sense for all mobile app developers in common with help of google cloud platform. Here its user javascript object notation with features always remove bottlenecks within data and the objects. Also, here its serialization the apps with canonization all data access flies with authentications. No added cost for server hardware infrastructures with essential to power up because of this work in google in build servers. A user of file base will pretty much happy with massive storage capacity with real-time in live.

Cons

Limited querying and indexing make more uncomforted for users. Mapping makes difficulties due to not listed and well-managed level queries by itself. When it is to migrate off, have rewritten all back-end codes. Because the dev must dedicate them self to make sure nothing will be messed up during migration. Also, it will not be supported at all database migrations this will work with only unit tests. In case migrated, architecture is totally different it will impact for a huge loss.

Pros

Firebas is a very powerful yet relatively easy to use program for developing smartphone apps. It is easy to set it up and deploy it irrespective of your device and is completely free of cost. It provides you with all the necessary features required from developing to deploying an application like, storage, real time database, crash analytics, hosting, deployment etc. You can also easily authenticate users. Also mBaaS or mobile Backend as a Server saves you a lot of time when developing an app.

Cons

I have used Firebase primarily to work in Android apps and have so far encountered no major problem personally but can say anything about iOS app as few of my colleagues complain abou.

I have been developing mobile applications using mysql and java backend for long time and from the time firebase has been in the market it has changed a lot for the programmers. It gives flexibility of creating database, backend and frontend in a single domain and not having to use other servers for hosting backends.

Cons

There is nothing i liked least about this software. This is a great software so far for the mobile app developers.

Firebase will be most valuable thing for a software industry organizations , because of most of the developer now days required high end machine to develop their functions and tools. But firebase gives wing to brake that barrier as it can be deploy by cloud and can be easy access via browser.

Cons

Its charging for each segments , so when its consider about smaller or medium organization there might be difficulty of buy the product because the reason of cost will be bit of high. Hope they will provide another better solution for that kind of peoples

Pros

The documentation for each of the feature in Firebase is very comprehensive and there's a lot of community support on any error that you face. The feature set is also very extensive and you can develop almost anything your app needs on it.

Cons

Data access code is very coupled to Firebase implementation. This will make it hard if you want to migrate off Firebase one day.

I'm using this to host the backend to all of my apps & projects – as well as products I'm building out for various startups.

Pros

It's really easy to set up. It packs hundreds of incredible features in simple modules that can be imported/implemented in just a few lines of code.

Cons

The command-line utility needs improvement. It would be nice to be able to tie a Firebase configuration to a particular folder, so that if I have 10 folders with 10 different projects, I don't have to re-run gcloud init on each one. Also, the distinction between Firebase and GCloud is sometimes confusing; for example, the Python Runtime for Cloud Functions is supported on Gcloud but not on Firebase - yet when I deploy a Python function to Cloud Functions it shows up in the Firebase Console as valid/working.

After parse closed down I had to setup my own server to run my backend but with firebase and firestore I can rid myself of running a complicated server and just rely on firebase for a fraction of the cost.

Pros

Their free plan is amazing for people like me without much capital to start with and with the newest database they've add called firestore this backend is all you could hope for. When you run into trouble you don't really need to worry since they have great documentation and guides for basically every platform they support. If you can't find help on their website then head over to stack overflow where almost every issue under the sun in already on the site.

Cons

Some search queries are a pain to code due to the limitations of firebase. Even with the addition of firestore its still a problem but it can be somewhat worked around.

Cons

sometimes its difficult to make query on database.firebase constantly update new things in firebase but not updating changes in documentation.this not good.

Pros

It's very easy and fast to setup and at the same time it's relatively less expensive compared to othe realtime database platforms. I and my team mostly use Firebase for realtime messaging and notifications on our app enabling sending OTP very easy and fast. Also, it is fast growing, has it's documentation very easy to understand and even if it seems difficult, there is a lot of tutorials for firebase out on the internet to enable you better understand the documentation. One of the good thing is that you can start using firebase for free then later upgrade as you begin to have more app built and need much more storage and create multiple databases for your apps.

Cons

The only thing that bothers me much is that it is so stressful to migrate out of firebase. This is always stressful and makes you want to start building some data all over again. That's a major problem for all users

Durante o tempo em que estive na faculdade cursando Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas, o Firebase contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de meu projeto de conclusão do curso (TG). Me projeto foi construir um aplicativo chamado Localiza Descontos, esse aplicativo usava a sua localização real no mapa para buscar ofertas e descontos. Utilizei o Ionic framework para construir o aplicativo, e então precisava de um banco de dados não relacional na nuvem e que eu não tivesse custos adicionais, foi então que encontrei o Firebase. Não foi preciso muita habilidade para conectar meu aplicativo à base de dados do Firebase, além de ser muito seguro e possibilitar conectar a outras plataformas de acesso de forma assíncrona.

Cons

A limitação a alguns recursos e a performance.

If you want to do a custom analysis or combine the data with other sources, you can link the data from Analytics with BigQuery, this makes it possible to perform a more in-depth analysis, such as combining data sources and consulting large datasets

Google Firebase is one of the best software platforms I have ever used. It has helped me track my daily performance, as well as improve my marketing strategies. One of the best features is being able to create a custom dashboard which not only helps me stay on top of what needs to get done but also makes it easy to access all the data I need in one place.

Pros

I really love Google Firebase. I've been using it for about a year now and it has helped me manage all of my projects really easily. There's also a new feature that I just discovered that actually imports data from our other platforms and integrates them on the same interface! That was a huge deal for me, because now I don't need to go to multiple apps to do my job.There's just so much that Google Firebase does for me. It's a total game changer, and I'm excited about the new features that are coming soon.

Cons

I love Firebase! It is a great tool for building applications and games. The team is responsive and there are lot of tutorials available to learn more about the platform. A few things that I like the least are that the free tier only allows 10,000 API calls per month, which is not a lot for a full-scale application. Also, if you want to use the API to send push notifications, which is a very common feature for many developers, you need to purchase an additional plan.

It's a great service to have for any mobile app, the crashlytics itself is a good to have when deploying a mobile app.

Pros

After Google acquired it, it just get better. The database server got better and added tons of features and even other part of the services got way better like cloud messaging, analytic, auth functionality, crash reporting and admob integration. They provide good library for different platform and usually updated and with examples.

Cons

The learning curve when you come from traditional software stack is pretty high, the documentation on the site doesn't help with this problem too. Most of the stuff you'll learn in the database side can't be applied to other software and it's still lacking custom backend integration.

We found all we need in one place you can make a complete website and mobile app and rely only on it.

Pros

Real-time database: you don't need to do any action data changed -> listener fires with new data. NoSql Database: very fast and it's scheme very easy to build. Firebase Auth: No need to add every single login with third party alone just add firebase auth and it'll do everything for you Google sign in, facebook sign in, twitter sign in and you can even login with phone number and firebase will send verification code that's awesome. Also, many other things that make firebase the future and they still improve.

Cons

I didn't find any cons till now and I think the reason is Google as firebase belongs to it the are good they are updating it every week that's awesome.

With Firebase I am able to thoroughly test my apps before release and use their tools after release to help solve bugs and crashes that users are reporting in real time.

Pros

My favorite thing about the Firebase is the Test Lab. I loved being able to run all kinds of scenarios to make sure my app's code functions correctly on all types of devices. I also like how I can weed out the possible crashes before they happen.

Cons

Honestly it is hard to find something I don't like about Firebase that's not superficial. The only thing I could say is that I didn't like how features were recently rebranded. I kept trying to search for a feature I had previously used and was not able to find it because it was rebranded

\- good documentation - easy to integrate - nice videos with explanations

Cons

Please add features: - error reporting (like crashlytics had). not crash reporting but specifically error reporting. something similar to events reporting but for errors. - the UX of events and parameters is super hard in the Analytics section. please improve the UX there - i think the best thing crashlytics had but you didn't implement is the every day emails that are sent to the mailbox with stats on your app (analytics stats but not crash reports)

### "Good BackEnd Tool For Various Needs"

I have used Firebase for user authentication, data storage, text recognition and QR recognition. It is super easy to use. It's a great back-end tool for simple and complex applications.

Pros

The tutorials are very good resources. I love how easy it is to manage notifications, real-time data and users. Firebase also has great ML tools for Android. It's a great cloud backend. You can also log crashes with Firebase which I think is great for giving your users a better experience. You get to use OAuth easily. Your data gets such as users gets analyzed. So, if you don't have a large team, Firebase is a great tool because it takes care of a lot of stuff by itself. It's like having a super-talented team member.

Cons

The text recognition doesn't work so well for non-English characters and this causes the API to produce wrong words as the result of recognition. Besides that, I've enjoyed FireBase.

Pros

The greatest thing about Firebase is its ease of use: It's so easy to set up and deploy. Whether it's a database, hosting or analytics: it's so easy to use!

Cons

I didn't like that you can't do a whole lot on the Firebase Cloud Messaging Dashboard. They should revamp the dashboard.
