### "Good for beginner projects."

For beginner and small project where small amount of data is processed, this could be the best to go for. But for large scale data processing, more integration of other software is needed.

Pros

Our company has built software and hardware project based on client needs. Most of the time,it involved real time data upload to server and accessing those. Also, analysing some portion of data was done by Java,NodeJs which was part of firebase coding section. It seemed easy to learn and implement.

Cons

The login and certification seems lengthy. Also, while moving large scale data, it gets stuck and takes time to process.

Firebase's unique connectivity with the google play appstore, allows for the optimization of monetization based on specific metrics. This can be used to greatly increase the revenue on apps based on user actions

Cons

Sometimes it can be hard to implement, it has a bunch of libraries that make your build bigger, and it slows the loading process on your apps. For the most part it's ok, but something to consider depending on the app type

It's easy to use. It's provided by tech giant Google. It's not going to be out of service. Especially it's good for sales and marketing teams.

It is provided by Google. So, we can say it's trusted platform. Firebase is good for sales and marketing teams. They can see analytics results and predictions. So, with this data, a company can understand a user is churn or not.

Cons

Firebase cannot tell you where the data is stored. In many countries there are regulations regarding customer privacy and data protection.

Firebase helps me handle almost all server-based needs for the software that I develop.

Pros

Firebase has extremely good documentation for almost every language out there. It is very easy to figure out, set it up, and use. The fact that it's free up to some point makes it even better. With one product, you can tackle the hardest cloud-related challenges.

Cons

Sometimes, the instructions are unclear and I get errors that I cannot figure out since I never suspect the error was sourced by the instructions.

If your are a person that develop applications using android and needed real-time database, this is the best one to use. Firebase has very resourceful documentation. initially it is hard to learn. but when you learn this, it's very easy to use.

Firebase is really fast and responsive if you have a good internet connection. Additionally it has resourceful documentation.

Cons

You need a good internet connection and you have to learn lot to use Firebase features properly.

It offered us a way to implement Machine Learning into our apps development phase which was pretty cool and we wouldn't have done it without firebase's help. Our top list of it's features are: 1. ML kit 2. Hosting the data on google's server 3. It being able to help run apps more smoothly on various platforms

Pros

To newer entrepreneurs who are looking to introduce their business model to their partners through tech-savvy apps, Google Firebase was and is an incredible help in saving us time, energy and processing power. It's been an incredible platform for us to host our data on, all the users' info and most of all, analyze that data to better the experience when the app is used on various devices with different operating systems.

Cons

It only helped us newbies build trust with our partners and a good understanding of what we want our app to look like, so, we wouldn't dare bash Google ; )

A very good tool to help you building apps for Android and iOS. It allows you to create a backend on cloud very quickly. Realtime database, push notification and social network login are some of functionalities that you can do.

Cons

### "The best cloud database"

I have been using it since my time in college and have always preferred it for any project that requires a database to this day. It's way better than SQL and offers much more!

Pros

The ease of use and scalability is the best feature of Firebase. It was easy to train the team on it and they started using it within a week. We were able to run a heavy application with no delay in response time.

Cons

It may get costly to use when used in an enterprise. If not monitored properly, it may drain your finances and that can be a major hit to the project.

Pros

Google's Firebase is a mobile platform that helps us develop high-quality apps and grow our client's business really quickly. The best part of using Firebase is that we can very easily accelerate the app development thanks to its fully managed backend and infrastructure. The smooth connection with Google Analytics is an added benefit when it comes to monitoring the performance and stability of our apps.

Cons

As of now, we have not seen any major downside of using it. It is good for use from all angles for us. I just wish we could use the backend from our mobile too. Apart from that everything else seems fine.

I love the feature set, think it is a great product and has helped with every application that I have ever developed.

Cons

Having been a long term user of Fabric, I found that the UI is missing. Fabric was amazing, visualisations were great. Firebase is missing this

Overall, I have had a great experience with Firebase, before when I tried integrating sqlite onto my android app and syncing the app data every time to mysql, it took a lot of effort and coding to maintain both the languages, but now with Firebase I almost don't have to worry about the back end and just focus on the front end of my application and give my application a better look as well as more functionality.

Pros

The fact that really astonished me as a software developer for mobile applications was the cloud functionality such as firebase functions which meant running my server less and that decreased so much of my time and effort spent on maintaining my server, the other thing that I liked about firebase was the cloud messaging functionality which really, really helped me send broadcast messages as well as send offers and target a specific audience through cloud functions and this has widely improved my business.

Cons

The thing that I was not at ease of using was the fact that I had to save the data in a tree like structure, and although json data is pretty common, I still find it quite irritating to work with json data.

I appreciate the huge support resource and tutorials available on the internet for this platform on websites like Udemy ,youtube etc ensuring I am always learning of newer ways to maximize this platform. I also love the level of documentation with its sdk programs. It provides me with real time analytics such as crash reports, app install notifications etc Lastly , Google Firebase is cloud based,ensuring I am able to access it from anywhere and anytime.

Cons

I am unable to migrate my sql database files into Firebase ,without having to alter their format since Firebase uses JSON.

Easy to learn, easy to implement, joy to work with

Pros

Whenever I set up a new app, it's very easy to add authentication. Few clicks, and changes in the app and I'm ready to go, without the need to set up my own backend.

Cons

When I used deploys to Firebase within my CI/CD process, I ended up with a lot of versions in cloud storage, for which I was then billed. I would expect a more automatic cleanup process to be set up in place, or for the app to guide me on how to reduce my costs.

### "Easy of use, But..."

We used to like firebase very much on our company. Until we had some issues with Google Cloud Functions when our application started beeing more larger. On this step, we choose to get out of firebase. I suggest use firebase only in small applications.

Pros

It's very easy to use, You don't need to build a backend server at all. Firebase will do everything for you. Just focus on necessary: your front-end application.

Cons

User management API is very poor. You can't manage users by your application. Also, the worst of all, when you need to deploy backend functions, you need to use Google Cloud Functions, and They have a lot of problems and bugs.

Cons

sometimes it's a little bit pricy than the other services like AWS or Alibaba cloud. and I cannot use it in some specific counties like China.
