May 6, 2018 5.0 it allows me to develop in real time. It is really efficient in terms of network management and has good support, it can be easily used in your web, android and IOS project. On the web, there is support for frameworks such as angular and polymer. Pros It is a very simple Baas to use in terms of the development of web applications because it has an incredible database management that automatically uploads content. Pros Firebase lets your company get quickly off the ground if you need to react to realtime changes across multiple clients. The number of SDK's available for different languages enables a number of different products to communicate no matter what language they are written in. Cons We've found with larger data sets we have connection reliability issues. It's pretty simple to pick up and I believe it can scale quite a bit. Cons Like any Google product, you are always worried they will quickly abandon the product when they build or buy something else. Think of all the Google chat messaging apps! Hopefully it doesn't happen to Firebase as well. Pros The ease of setting things up. You want a realtime database, you got it running within minutes. You want push notifications, got that too. Absolutely love the range of services under their umbrella and how they have kept the entire setup and management simple and easy. +1 to their docs as wlel. Cons Sometimes, the libraries screw up and it takes a lot of time to get the issues resolved from the team. I recently faced an issue with Firebase Hosting and had to move to a different host to get things moving quickly.
