The masking of a dedicated number instead of a short code is a game changer. Then adding a lead in message tracking mini crm conversation is vital. Pros The server side code is incredibly fast and reliable. I also love the emojis available for conversations. It helps to personalize the experience with our customers rather than the conversation feeling more robotic. Cons I honestly can't say much about what I like the least. Anything I have needed for better metrics/analytics Avochato has made sure to provide that information for me. The downside again was having to do it one an individual basis. Pros I like being able to contact my clients at whatever hours needed. I can also always have support with the text to call feature. Before we were limited to email and print notifications. Now we are able to instantly communicate with members on their phones! Pros The customer service is really fantastic. They are all very quick to respond and answer any questions I have regarding their services. Their Broadcast feature is great. It allows me to send text messages to a segment of people (any size) and send them personalized messages all at the same time! The best feature I found that totally differentiated them from their competition was the option to use our existing landline phone number as our textable number as well. Our members know and trust our existing phone number, so it was crucial for us to be able to keep that. They were able to split our land line phone number to still be able to receive normal phone calls on our VOIP phones but then if someone wants to text our exact same number, they still can. There was zero interruption with out phone service when they switched that. Cons I think the only thing I would like to see them update is filter options in the messages or contact section. We gain more responses from texts than our calls. Being able to set responses when you are unavailable is key. It lets the client know you are not ignoring them, just busy or away. The easy routing is great also as we have different departments to reach. Cons We have clients that like to send pictures and sometime the picture looks funny or doesn't go through. Its the most read communication tool we have and Avachato has a lot of great features to make text messaging effective for your business. Pros I really enjoy some of the features this software allows you. 1 - it can connect to a landline so that you can use a pre-existing number and one that people will associate with your company. 2 - the survey feature allows you to gather information from people and store it effectively for future use. Cons Takes some time to get used to hoe to use the platform. As with anything, there is a little learning curve before you can really maneuver the platform and use it well. It seems quite professional but in some ways it is a little too impersonal. Several people thought I was a computer (not a real person). Not sure if that is the software fault or a problem with the script. Pros The layout was good and easy to understand. There seemed to be lots of options that you could use to personalize the site. Cons At some point one of the options, "left a message" disappeared and it wasn't clear to me why. I missed the opportunity to learn how to use the software and it took me a little while to figure it out. More importantly, I was inundated with emails not directed to me and I couldn't opt out of receiving them so I had to delete all the ones I got and block receiving them. It seemed like they were intended for the organizer who is not me. Just an awful customer service experience all the way around. I would NEVER recommend such an awful company. There are far better and less expensive options out there. In the end a company with such shabby customer service will be out of business. Save your time and money. Pros It seemed somewhat easy to set-up. If my team has any questions at all the support team is amazing. We work with the support team and he is able to answer any questions we have right then and there.
