The most important benefit is getting social profiles from known email addresses.

Pros

I like the ability to export into csv and manipulate the data/order on my own. It is really easy to get started and develop contact lists .

Cons

Difficulty working with the API without a developer on head. I feel as though I'm missing some information because I'm not utilizing an API key. I also don't understand why it takes so long to pull in a few dozen new contacts (emails -> social profiles)

Pros

High match rate (~xx%), very good documentation - it's been very easy to implement. Customer support has been good; some initial mis-configuration around query rates and data add-ons was resolved very swiftly.

Cons

Lack of clarity over the derivation of some data points. Lack of insight into method used to calculate confidence levels.

Time savings

Pros

I like access to this type of data. It is a good core on which FC can add more enrichment. If you are open to added data types...please let me know.

Cons

FC would be well served to build "components" from which a business person can call API. This non-IT person could inherit from FC components and get out of the JSON/API world. You customer is guys like me more than IT.

No-frills firmographic data that has been a reliable source of data for our api enrichment product.

Cons

The developer interface is a bit dated. The look/feel of their recently acquired MatterMark site was much more modern and had a better ui.

We're satisfied with the amount of info you have about people in your people API, since we use such info to analyze our leads.

Cons

We some times have to request your API multiple times to get the info on different params about a person

Pros

Full Contact integrates with essentially everything. Plus its ability to auto grab new contacts works extremely well.

Cons

I don't actually have any cons for the app. I wish it was slightly less expensive for the premium version, but the feature set is worth the cost.

Lot of accounts you can immediately see about a potential prospect. Many other alternatives are limited to Facebook, LinkedIn e Twitter only

Cons

A bit "heavy" in terms loading time on Gmail; although almost all the other competitor softwares have this issue as well

You only need en e-mail to get a good set of info from your users. Nothing we couldn't develop for each integration but having all combined here is a must

Cons

Analysing performance is not perfect. I also have the idea that the info fetched is frequently outdated.

$10 per month is a lot... BUT it's seamless and really does work. The card reader function and iphone/iCloud sync is really helpful as is the multiple gmail accounts.

Seamless - set it and forget it

Cons

They do not communicate the various tiers properly. The basic free version on their website says 10 free card scans. They don’t specify if that’s for one time or for life. Also they term it as a basic plan not as a trial! So I started using it and suddenly it said That I had maxed out the scans but doesn’t say for how long. Then I contacted customer service and it turns out I maxed them out forever. So now the only way to use the app is to pay. Terrible communication. They say there is a ‘basic’ plan but that’s essentially a trial. If I had known I would never have used it.

I quite like how it picks up company details from an email address then looks it the company up, returning lots of info

Cons

Doesn't pick up duplicates properly. Needs to handle contacts from more address books and social networks

I started using FullContact as I was struggling to get my contacts updated and consistent from one account to the other (when you have 8+ email accounts and different devices, it becomes quickly a problem to synchronize everything). It solves this problem but it could do so much better! The good thing is that the team seems to be working hard on it and I see interesting feature updates on a regular basis.

Pros

I like the way the endpoints are broken out between person requests and business requests. The newest version of the API made some changes that have resulted in much cleaner code for our requests.

Cons

Although the documentation is fairly robust it took some tweaking to get the information I needed. I personally would have loved documentation in R, but I was able to piece together the curl documentation to get what I needed.

I am still on the hunt for a contact management platform that works easily with my Mac. Full contact was clunky and hard to use, downloading duplicates and overall not a great fit for my work.

Pros

It's free which is great but I found it hard to use and ultimately stopped using the product.

Cons

Clunky and hard to use with my mac. Sync'd contacts as duplicates and also made it hard to easily categorize.

If all you need is a barebones contact data manager, this is THE best.

Pros

\- Finds missing contact data online - Extremely easy to use - Simply the best barebones contact data manager

Cons

\- No advanced functionality - Literally ONLY manages barebones contact data, nothing else like a more full-featured CRM

Saves time. Improves my follow up. Tracks my conversations through their notes feature.

Pros

I love how when I meet someone at an event or trade show, I can take a picture of their business card, tag it, makes notes from our conversation. I don't have time to type their information into my CRM, so this is a big time saver.

Cons

I wish Nimble(my CRM) had their API integrated into their platform. Not FullContact's fault, it's just the way Nimble chooses to go.
